The entire family is heavily black coded as aliens and in the human AU they are family of Trinidadian immigrants! This is important to how they are portrayed. This post may be updated as characters develop and change! Also this is all for fun, nothing here is perfectly aligned with canon!
Chak’de herself is rather straight forward, she is a Stemme (a slightly feminine stud, the same idea as futch) lesbian woman with 3 kids before her marriage to Fwo’gopy
Zuyan’s, the father of Chak’de , identity is more complex, he has reached the age of an ancient and very specifically is a religious leader for their clan, similar to a tsahik. His gender would be the most similar to gender fluid or possibly two spirit. Their clothing is physically loud as he chooses not to hunt as often, they wear lots of jewelry, ornate masks, charms wrapped and threaded around their end rails. You hear him coming before you see him.
Auta, Chak’de’s eldest daughter, is a biomedical engineer and played a large role in Chak’de’s experiments. She is a completely unlabeled sapphic. Auta has spent a large amount of time on pandora after the birth of her youngest half sister, slowly adopting aspects of traditionally feminine na’vi accessories while sticking to traditional yautja clothes.
A’tuind is a reinforcer, much like her Mother. She is somehow the only straight daughter Chak’de had. A’tuind has a youngblood son (not seen in the stories). She comfortably presents femininely (for yautja culture) despite non-Yautja believing her to be masculine or a man at times. A’tuind wears more eccentric jewelry, mostly made of bone or alien materials, than is typically seen amongst yautja because she uses her appearance to show her skill as a hunter.
A’kall was Chak’de youngest child, he is a skilled hunter but chose to become a healer after fully losing an eye to a xenomorph on his blooding hunt. He is a straight man, also in an interspecies relationship however his life mate is a human woman. He is a bit of a traditionalist with his gender expression, not straying far from his comfort zone. A’kall does however wear a rather large and ornate necklace, made of bone from the xenomorph that blinded him.

It took a while for the familial adaptation to be made between Chak'de and Fwo'gopyu, considering the indigo woman had never even considered one child, let alone three of them - not to mistake her as ungrateful for them. She loves each of them with her entire soul and then some.
Paya reminded her of her wife in the best and worst ways, sometimes she wondered if Chak'de's father has the same struggles with her - a strong sense of justice and a taste for something bigger than herself - or maybe, it was her environment that festered those traits. But how talented she was, it was less of a fight and more a dance that only Paya knew when she was in battle. Her mothers’ ways blended carefully together rather than repelled like magnets, the arts and the hunt meshed like some inseparable thing inside her. It was her undoing in the end, saving the children of Fwo’gopyu’s clan from suffering the same pains she had with the RDA. Her son left behind in his father’s care, out from his original planet. They still visited from time to time.
And Guan, who took after Fwo’gopyu’s side of the family. Who with all the fury a fetus could carry, came in the deep night with inky skin and contractions from hell. He was the largest, both then and now, standing even taller than his mothers when he was fully grown, and bearing the face of her late brother. She saw Ts’eky in him, in all his bright-faced glory. Ever the comedian, he took delight in brewing an array of wines and meads for the clan around him and his Yautja mother’s family — The three children before her union with Fwo’gopyu visit frequently with items to trade for goods with him and the rest of the children. Paya’s weaving serves well for weapons and stringing weapons, whereas Inmauti’s handiwork with jewelry serves as exotic apparel for when they return to Yautja prime. In turn, Guan is usually (unofficially) tasked with being the entertainment for whatever guests pass through their home.
And Inmauti, their little girl, pink as can be and yellows splashed against her skin like handfuls of pollen. Her hair is thick with curls, like her brothers, and her little upper mandibles and pointy claws on her hands and feet rendered her rather spider-like. She was the youngest of the batch, being 10 years younger than Guan and 11 younger than Paya, and it showed. She clung to her sister as most little girls do, trying to follow in her footsteps until the visual disability she got from her Na’vi mother rendered her in the same boat — near-sighted and unable to fight. However, she made a lovely jewelry maker like her Sa’nok. They would spend days in the river banks - her, her mother, and her grandfather Zunuk, collecting clay and dye herbs in the morning hours before the sun came to dry it out. She was generous, and her girlfriend, a Wind Trader, sold her art amongst clans far and wide. And upon her return, told her tales of the greatest warriors and most stunning singers alike coming to obtain Inmauti’s apparels and jewelry like they were prized. Just like her mother’s.
So yes, despite everything, her expectations for life, her career, and ideals — Fwo’gopu loved her wife and her children. More than she could ever say. And even as she laid in her bed, beside her wife’s sleeping body, twirling a graying tendril around her thin finger, her vision slipping and her extremities numbing as she looked into the Eye of Eywa — she wouldn’t change a thing even if she got a chance to do everything again. She slipped into the night silently, and in the morning, the sun beaming in through the woven marui warmed her cold body as she lay the one place she would never want to leave after fleeing all her life — Home.

his daughter gay, daughter-in-law is gay, his grandchildren are bi, genderfluid and gay, and a lesbian, and another sapphic granddaughter that also has an interspecies marriage, and he himself is in a queerplatonic relationship with Mo'at.
Thinking about the culture differences with the Na’vi and Yautja ^_^ and how that goes with Fwo’gopyu and Chak’de
Firstly, with the naming formats the Na’vi have, Fwo’gopyu would have to translate Chak’de’s name into the na’vi language to name their son, as well for writing purposes (as there is no CH sound, or letter D in the na’vi alphabet!)
On the same note, she would have to give Chak’de a “Na’vi” name, since theirs are much longer than Yautja’s are presumably. Following the format of
(First Name) te (Surname) (Mom’s Name)’ite (FEM)
or
(First Name) te (Surname) (Dad’s Name)’itan (MASC)
However, ‘ite and ‘itan can be replaced with the neutral ‘eveng, meaning “Child of”.
And how Chak’de’s name would be used in place of a father’s name for their son, Guan.
Good evening chat, lets run through some rules and base info!
I mainly write for the Avatar, Predator and Alien universe (I HC it all as one)

YES the timeline is wildly messy dont ask we’re working on it
I’m lazy as shit so this is all gen info, pls dont expect me to have everyone added for several months
Rules:
Do not ask me to write RDA characters, i wont
If I write x reader im sadly not comfortable writing or cis!fem reader inserts

OC’S
CHAK’DE
Chak’de is an older Yautja from a swamp like terrain, she stands at 8’3 and carries the bulk of her muscle in her upper body. Her colors are somewhat similar to that of the OG jungle hunter but have muddier brown toned greens. She is a reinforcer, similar to Wolf, and between breeding cycles spent her time hunting rogue bad bloods and xenomorph infestations. Chak’de has 3 children prior to meeting the Hulanta 2 daughters and a son. After spending time on Pandora attempting to court her now life mate she decided to attempt to genetically engineer herself and, with the help of her eldest daughter ad several months of work, they successfully encode Na’vi genetics into her DNA, giving her a kuru, bioluminescent spotting and changing her color markings to be closer to the stripes of the Hulanta.
some small tidbits about Fwo’gopyu and her family! constantly updating!
She is a TAP survivor, being taken in with a group of her siblings (three brothers and one sister). In their escape two brothers were killed, leaving just Fwo’gopyu, her sister Veyämä, and her youngest brother Eikxi.
Her full name is Fwo’gopyu te Hawng Kaliru’ite!
Her parents are Furuk, her father, and Kaliru, her mother. Furuk is a playful older man, and a ceramics maker, while Kaliru is more serious and level headed, being one of the main people to prepare food for the clan.
Fwo’gopyu is actually a part of the Hulanta Clan, a clan only mentioned in the cancelled Avatar: Reckoning games! They live in the river ridden Wetlands.
She has three children, Paya, whom resembles her wife Chak’de, Guan, who looks akin to her most, and Inmauti, who is a obscurity of nature as she has pink skin and only an upper set of mandibles.
Her wife is Yautja, Chak’de, whom bioengineered herself to be more akin to Fwo’gopyu’s people!
Chak’de took Fwo’gopyu’s last name when they mated.
She is 9’10” and her skin is closer to a purple tone due to tanning in the sun in the riverbanks. Her hair is short as well with small braids and beads!
Fwo’gopyu is a jeweler herself, while Paya is a weaver and huntress, Guan specializes in ceramics that store brewing goods, and Inmauti plays an instrument akin to a lyre.
There is a 11 year age difference between Guan and Inmauti, and a 12 year difference between Paya and Inmauti.
All three were velcro babies, Paya being the type to stuff her little hands in your plate while Guan slept constantly.
