The spectrums of asexuality and aromanticism encompass a wide range of human behaviors that may be nearly identical to allosexuality and alloromanticism or to asexuality and aromanticism, distinguished from the orientations by what may sometimes be miniscule differences. As the variation between a-spec identities are vast, some may feel out of place when their orientations are grouped in with those entirely different from theirs, each of them presented under the label “a-spec”.
Allosians are individuals who’re neither asexual nor allosexual that strongly identify with the latter orientation in comparison to the former. The way they experience sexual attraction is far closer to allosexuality than it is to asexuality, perhaps because a circumstance that triggers them to experience it occurs frequently, in the times in which they do experience it, it’s very intense, and any other reason that would enable someone between the two identities to consider themselves far closer to one than the other.
The allosian flag depicts shades of purple, colors associated with asexuality, to represent the ace-spec identify present. However, the shades are darkened in comparison to the term opposite to allosian, aceian, as to represent how an allosian’s connection with asexuality is weak. In the center of the flag sits an upside-down spade, the spade also associated with asexuality, to signify the same thing as the darkened colors.
The romantic equivalent to allosians are allorosians, whose flag is decorated with shades of green to represent aro-spec identity.
Aceians, the counterpart to allosians, are individuals who’re neither asexual nor allosexual that strongly identify with the former orientation in comparison to the latter. The way they experience sexual attraction is far closer to asexuality than it is to allosexuality, perhaps because a circumstance that triggers them to experience it rarely occurs, in the times in which they do experience it, it’s incredibly weak, and any other reason that would enable someone between the two identities to consider themselves far closer to one than the other.
The aceian flag depicts shades of purple, for the same reason the allosian flag does, except the colors it displays are lighter than those of its counterpart, as to signify a strong identification with asexuality. For the same reason, the spade that sits at the center is angled properly.
The romantic equivalent to aceians are arosians, whose flag is decorated with shades of green to, as one may guess, represent aro-spec identity.
