I hate to admit that I used to do this too, then one day I just actually, suddenly, stopped wanting it half way through. I just said stop, and from then on I realised not to be apologetic for doing that. If your partner in that moment doesn’t understand that a mood change happens sometimes, then you’re sleeping with the wrong person.  Never do things out of obligation, “politeness”, or duty. Be unapologetic about your feelings and emotions.
