Lenin's What is to be Done - Dogmatism and "Freedom of Criticism"

First, we need to understand what Dogmatism is.

Dogmatism - ignorance to accept or understand other's beliefs, ideas, or behaviours. They cannot understand new ideas.

Dogmatism led to the capitalist Social - Democracy due to the refusal to understand or apply scientific teachings of socialism (known as Marx and Engel's teachings at that time.)

The Creators of Bourgeois Social-Democracy:

Eduard Bernstein: Proposed the idea that socialism should drive away from producing revolutions, but rather be a party of reform.

Alexandre Mitterand: Was former French President who actively to collaborated capitalism and socialism (working with the bourgeois.)

Where does "Freedom of Criticism" come from?

"Freedom of Criticism" came from an article by Rabocheye Dyelo, Russian Social-Democrat union, which made Lenin suspicious that they support Bernstein's proposal.

Then lead to the alliance of moderate "Marxists." However this did promote Marxist teachings many of these Marxist were bourgeois democrats and resonate with Bernstein's ideas.

This lead to a division of Labour workers putting the economy first (economists) and marxist aligning with Liberals.

The fact that people, especially young girls want to get this parasite (stomach bug) just because they want to loose, says a lot about capitalism. 🎀 Che Guevara had developed asthma, as it ran on his mother’s side, and developed it while catching a cold after swimming. Due to his asthma him and his family lived in Alta Gracia-a northern part of Argentina, as it had a dry climate, and many individuals with asthma lived there for that particular reason.

🎀 Che was a very active track and field and rugby athlete. His rugby team, Estudiantes, which Alberto Granado coached. Grando would become an important friend of his as he joined Che during his motorcycle diaries and shared interests in books and medicine!

🎀 Che was in love with his cousin… Carmen Cordova Iturburu de la Serna as they shared an interest in poetry!

Fun Fact: The Soviet Revolutionaries, Vladimir Lenin, Joesph Stalin, and Leon Trotsky, aren' their real names. They had change their names during the revolution to confuse the authorities, hence being code names.

Vladimir Lenin : Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (Historians assume he chose the name Lenin, in 1902, because of the Lena River in Siberia. Where he was exiled.)

Joesph Stalin :  Iosif Dzhugashvili

Leon Trotsky: Lev Bronshtein

Che Guevara During WWII

Fun Fact!: Before the beginning of WWII, Che Guevara's father, Ernesto Guevara Lynch, had founded the Comité de Ayuda a la Republica that was a support network from the Argentine city of Alta Gracia for the Spanish Republicans. Which at the time had been fighting against the Fascist, N@z!-backed dictator Franco's armies. Seeing his father's investment in their struggle against fascism, when Che was around 10-11 years old, he had started a map with the markings of the Spanish Republican and the Fascist armies of Spain, Italy, Germany. Unfortunately, in 1939 Spanish Republicans lost and Austria and Czechoslovakia had been annexed by Germany. As well as Poland had got invaded by Germany (start of WWII), but little Che still kept up with these updates until the war was over.

I thought this was an interesting fact as it anticipates the fearless comandante Che Guevara that would soon be created during the Cuban Revolution. By demonstrating an interest in a military tatic, mapping, which would later become handy in the Cuban Revolution.

"He had come at Che's request so we would have a cartographer's assistance in the in the final preparations for the capture of Santa Clara. He was planning the best direction which to attack the town."

Source: The quote provided was in Remembering Che by Aledia March, who had also fought in the struggle. This quote was about a member of the July 26 movement, Antonio Núñez Jiménez, who was a geographer and helped plan the Battle of Santa Clara. The most significant battle in the Cuban Revolution.
