#Repost @notsosecretdiaryofanxiety (@get_repost) ・・・ Oh, the overthinking trap that anxiety can bring 😣 It can make our heads feel like it will explode. Meanwhile, it’s hard to concentrate on things that are important when we’re focusing on thoughts consuming our mind at an unhealthy level. My favorite ways to reduce my overthinking are: ▪️Challenging my negative thoughts by asking what can go 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭. ▪️Putting the thoughts I have into perspective and not trying to figure out every thought that comes. ▪️Setting a “worry time” in the day. When my thoughts start to become too loud and consuming throughout the day, I remind myself to wait for my 15 minute worry window later on. During that time, I write down my worries in my journal. After the worry time is up, I try my best to remain focused on the present moment. 💫 @simplysophiedesigns x @notsosecretdiaryofanxiety https://www.instagram.com/p/CG-LPGFAfnn/?igshid=g8s5istqgtv7
