Teaser: With more questions than answers, Dean slowly and cautiously began to enter the dark room, flashlight and bucket in hand. He would probably have a better time seeing what was going on if he turned on the flashlight but he wasn’t dumb. If there was some psychopath in here carving someone up like a Thanksgiving turkey, there was no way he was just going to give away his location. It would also help maintain the element of surprise, at least for the few moments that it would take to get deeper into the room. Once the flashlight is on there will be no hiding the fact that he was there and Dean was by no means weak, he went to the gym sometimes and though he might not be the biggest guy in the world, he still had a height advantage over a good portion of people. Now would that help him against an assailant with a knife? No, but he’d put up a good fight even if he was being dumb by walking into danger with only a bucket and flashlight. He didn’t even have his phone on him, it was still lying abandoned on the reception desk.

The wailing had tapered off into loud, ragged breathing now, as if whoever was doing this had decided to give their victim a moment's rest to prolong their fun. It felt all kinds of skeevy to refer to something like that as fun, even in his mind, but that was probably what the psycho viewed it as. Most killers in horror movies, if they weren’t doing it for revenge, usually did it because they just enjoyed hurting people. Having not been focusing on where he was going, Dean nearly slipped and fell when he stepped in something wet. There was also a heavy scent of copper in the air, and it didn’t take a rocket scientist to know what that meant.

Looking down at his feet, Dean finally turned on his flashlight with a click of a button, finding that what he had stepped in was indeed blood, and there was quite a lot of it. Following the blood trail with both eyes and the flashlight, he was so shocked by what he saw that the bucket clattered to the ground as he lost his grip on the handle.

What's your total word count? 613,957

What fandoms do you write for? Mainly Supernatural but I want to branch back out into some of the other fandoms I love

Top 5 fics by kudos: Necessities for Survival (WIP): 428 kudos, Winter's Spider (WIP/on Hiatus): 265 kudos, A Supernatural Adventure (WIP): 152 kudos, A New Way (WIP): 121 kudos, and Skin Deep (WIP): 57 kudos. Notice the pattern yet folks?

Do you respond to comments? I try to but I know that I don't get around to answering them all

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I don't have very many fics that are completed, so at the time of making this I can't really answer this question.

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Again I don't have many completed fics, and the ones that I do have completed have kind of happy endings but I wouldn't call them the happiest.

Do you get hate on fics? Not that I have seen, but I do have the comment moderation on for if that should ever happen as I do not check my AO3 inbox all that frequently

Do you write smut? I've only recently started, so there are only two of my fics that have some form of smut in them

Craziest crossover? None that I would necessarily call the craziest but I have some that cross over with Marvel and one that is a crossover with the TV show Lucifer

Have you ever had a fic stolen? I did have one stolen back in my publishing on Wattpad days, but I have yet to see any evidence of my AO3 fics being stolen (pls don't let be the thing that jinx's me)

Have you ever had a fic translated? Haven't had the opportunity or the pleasure yet

All time favorite ship? That is a tie between Destiel and Drarry

What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Uh I'd have to say maybe Winter's Spider. Mainly because at one point I wanted to give it a complete rewrite in order to flush certain things out but I've just never had the energy to do it

What are your writing strengths? I'd have to say world building and fight scenes, I do pretty good at those

What are your writing weaknesses? Staying in the same tense while writing, I'm all over the place with that (sorry to my beta reader for that)

Thoughts on dialogue in another language? I think it's cool, but translations at the bottom would be appreciated (this is not meant to be hateful it's just that google translate is kinda unreliable 😅)

First fandom you ever wrote in? I can barely remember half of the things I've written in a current fic after I've written and published them, I have no idea what was the first fandom I ever wrote in. Cause again, I started on Wattpad and ended up deleting most of my old, sucky works

This post is dedicated to all the writers who ever got a rude comment on their fic, especially from guests accounts who call themselves Deengirl or Cassgirl or any variation, as well as the 'tag your bottom dean' guest. Those of us with good support system handle it by talking to our peeps, but there are a lot of writers out there who don't have anyone to talk to and are often discouraged by these kinds of comments.

Well, I am here to tell you that, even though we know it's hard, you shouldn't take these rude words too much to heart. I don't know whose bright idea was to spread such idiotic profanities and poke at people who basically use their free time to provide free content. Their words are harsh and with intent to hurt, but they are nothing more than trolls who have nothing going on in their lives and really need to let go of all that hate. Please, kind writer, if you ever feel discouraged or hurt by a comment, come to us, shout out into the void, someone will hear. And remember, your fics are beautiful and fun and interesting, and you are appreciated.

Don't ever give up your dream because of some asshole out there.

Writing pattern tag game

Ok, so I have been tagged by the lovely @malicmalicwriter for this game, so here we go. Now I do not have many recent fics, but I do have ten SPN fics (most of which are WIPs) so I will be using those. Starting with my two completed bang fics and then I shall be working my way down from there.

The Main Attraction

Peeking out the slight gap between the curtains hiding him and the stage from view, Dean took a deep breath. And then immediately, his ribs twinged in protest when his lunges tried to expand to take in the breath fully.

2. Fairies Wear Boots

Castiel let out a long sigh as his car door shut with an audible thud. Why he allowed Charlie and Gilda to talk him into this he did not know. Ok, maybe he did know why.

3. Necessities for Survival

Castiel Krushnic watched on with a stoic expression and cold, blue eyes as the door before him was busted open. The first group of highly trained bratva members filed in immediately after.

4. Death's Angel

Life was a fleeting existence, but death was a constant. Dean knew this all too well, for he once had life but now he was Death. Yes, that Death, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.

5. The Coin; The Promise

Dean had to remind himself of the shining light that gave purpose to this life of his every day. This toxic life of his.

6. Skin Deep

Dean let out a low groan as he slowly opened his eyes. Only to squint against the harsh light coming from the hanging overhead bulb. As his eyes got used to the harsh lighting, his surroundings slowly became focused.

7. Instincts

Coping had never been Dean's strong suit; he was more partial to numbing the pain with alcohol than dealing with it. Processing emotions properly was not something that came quickly to his family.

8. A Supernatural Adventure

The telltale sound of a pen scratching against paper had become a constant in Bucky's life now. After all of the chaos involving the new Super Soldier serum it was always just another day and another name scratched off his list.

9. Devil In Red

Dan sighed slightly in annoyance as he left the club, pinching the bridge of his nose. He thought this would be an easy case where all he needed to do was look into the death of the singer Delilah. And then the only witness to the killing threw the LAPD detective quite the curveball.

10. Healing Of The Heart and Soul

Wanda knew that watch she had done to WestView painted a negative picture of her in the eyes of many people. Especially those of the people who suffered as a side effect of he grief induced reality warping.

I personally have not noticed a pattern other than the fact that unless it is a bang fic I have an aversion to completing fics before I start a new one. Sure Malic!

So that one for me has sort of taken inspiration from Angels Wild where Cas is of a species that has large wings and are fairly humanoid beyond that. However its mains focus will be on Dean as he tried to cope with the fact that he was bitten by a werewolf but the transformation seemed to have gone wrong. As a result of the supposedly "gone wrong" transformation he now has fuzzy wolf ears, a tail, claws and sharp teeth, and feet paws because I cannot resist the idea of Dean having fuzzy adorable feet paws when he’s supposed to be a dangerous hunter 😆
