On the surface, Beacon Hills may appear to be like any other small town in Northern California. But appearances can be deceiving... Beacon Hills is home to werewolves, banshees, witches, and hunters along with the others who populate the town. And while this combination might be volatile anywhere else, something incredible has happened in Beacon Hills: against all odds, they have become friends. After working together to discover the identity of a mysterious alpha, stopping a kanima, and dealing with a violent group of hunters, the resident werewolves and their friends are looking forward to a summer free or danger and full of fun. But this is Beacon Hills, and nothing ever stays quiet for long...

After a summer of being terrorized by both the bloodthirsty leader of the alpha pack, Deucalion, and by a vengeful darach-- revealed to be their English teacher, Miss Blake, who was really a woman named Julia Bacari-- everything finally came to a head for the Beacon Hills pack when Chris Argent, Melissa McCall, and Sheriff Stilinski were all captured by the darach, who intended to sacrifice them. Though the results of the battles were not something anyone could have predicted...
The pack split up into groups to search for the missing parents before it was too late. After a vision from Daria led them in the right direction, and a realization about the currents and the area in the woods where they converge, Allison, Lydia, Stiles, and Daria found the missing parents, who were being held captive beneath the roots of the nemeton. But while they were rescuing them, a storm, conjured by Jennifer, raged outside, threatening everyone in Beacon Hills, including the pack members out in the storm. Fiona, Brian, Natalie and Riley managed to stop the storm through their combined efforts...and by directing the power of the storm to Fiona. Why was she able to handle all of that magic? Newcomer to Beacon Hills Gabe seems to know...and he knows Fiona, Erica, and the Rivers family, as well. Meanwhile, Katie and Derek attempted to save Cora from the hex placed on her by Jennifer, and Katie cast a blood spell that protected the Hales from danger...and just in time, too, as the spell saved Jackson’s life during a battle with the darach. The battle with the darach took place at Derek’s loft, where it was revealed that she had been using hex bags on Derek in order to control and manipulate him. The battle caused a change in Connor, and brought him back to a place where he was able to torture others. He lost sense of himself and of caring for the others, and used them as a distraction in order to get to Jennifer-- a tactic not missed by Jackson. After the others were out of the building, Connor killed Jennifer Blake. During this time, Scott, Erica, Boyd, Rory, Rollin, Lauren, and Gabriel were entrenched in a battle with Deucalion, as well...a battle that ended when Rory decapitated Deucalion using the war sword. After coming to at Deaton’s clinic, a horrified Leah still healed Cora, but found herself heartbroken and afraid, and unsure of what to do next.
Though the battle and the imminent danger is passed, there are still scars left over from the events of the summer. Derek and Connor are both coping with what happened (and perhaps not in the healthiest of ways), and both Leah and Cora are learning what it’s like to live without their captor who became something of a parental figure. Friends outside of the pack like Sandy and Kendall have expressed concern about what was going on with their friends over the summer and have been apologized to. Lydia is learning about what it means to be a banshee, and Allison is learning about what it means to be a leader. And, upon finally being free, Lauren returned to New York to adopt her former foster sister, Noelle, and bring her back to Beacon Hills. Lucy and Isaac have moved back into the loft, and Connor has, too. And Erica came up with the perfect plan to start the school year off right: with a bonfire down by the ravine.
While the pack had a blast just hanging out and having fun together, the bonfire revealed a few things, too. Sandy noticed a car down in the ravine, and upon further research, learned that it was the wreckage left over from a crash involving the Tate family...a crash that was also said to involve an animal attack. Sandy revealed to Scott that she and Duncan used to be next door neighbors to Rory and Rollin in Minnesota, and that she’s questioning all of the animal attacks.
But Sandy isn’t the only one with questions. Kira revealed to Allison that was attacked by someone or something with glowing blue eyes while living in Brooklyn, and Allison explained the truth to Kira. In turn, Kira showed Allison one of her abilities. Derek suspects that Kira is something, and it looks like he’s right. But what is she? And is it possible that the mysterious girl who saved her in New York was Lo?
Beacon Hills has another newcomer, as well: Jordan Parrish, a new member of the police force. He came to Beacon Hills for the job, but could there be another reason for his presence in town?
How is Gabe connected to Erica, Fiona, and Sandy? Will Sandy find out the truth? And how will everyone cope with the events of the summer, on top of the new school year? Can Boyd help Leah, and can the pack accept her? Noelle wants the bite; will she be able to convince Lo to give it to her? What caused Daria to get sick? Not to mention that Erica believes that the scales will tip again...and she’s probably right. After all, this is Beacon Hills...

Deucalion and the alpha pack have asked for a meeting, and the only thing the Beacon Hills pack can be sure of is this: It’s definitely a trap. Planning a counter-attack may not be easy with an enemy like this, but the Beacon Hills pack isn’t going to give up without a fight...
As the battle draws closer, everyone seems to be on edge, and is trying to deal with things the best way that they can. When Scott and Katie went for a run to clear their heads and work off some energy, they came across a mysterious discovery: a tree stump deep in the forest that seemed to call out to them, and seems to be generating some kind of energy. Meanwhile, Boyd and Danny, along with Ivy, began to look into some of the mysteries of Beacon Hills, and discovered a map of Telluric currents that seem to be particularly strong underneath Beacon Hills. While all of them suspect this might have something to do with what is going on, Boyd and Danny believe it may be tied to the supernatural happenings in town, and plan to look into these currents.
It’s not just the pack that seems to be being affected by the supernatural in Beacon Hills anymore. Sandy began to sleepwalk towards the cemetery-- and was luckily found and rescued by Fiona. And Beacon Hills newcomer Kira is already curious about the strange goings-on in her new town...with good reason. She’s already made friends with Allison, along with Erica, Fiona, and Cora. Will Kira and Sandy’s friendships with the pack bring them into the world of the supernatural and put them in danger? Or is it possible that they’re already more involved than anyone realizes...including them?
Even as danger builds, the pack still finds time to bond and grow closer, and to be good friends to one another. Allison and Lydia had a sleepover, where they opened up about the boys in their lives, and their feelings on more than just the dangers of Beacon Hills. (And, of course, they watched The Notebook!) Cora reached out to her newly-discovered cousins, Jackson and Katie, inviting them to go for a run. (And discovering that Hales pretty much never sleep!) Lucy and Rory had some girl time, and Katie and Riley practiced magic and discussed what happened with Riley and Natalie. Stiles and Allison had a hilarious time together, and when Ava ran into Jackson, the two of them opened up more around one another, with Jackson showing Ava the research he had tried to do on the alphas. (And of course, with some sarcastic banter.) Isaac returned to the loft and finally talked to Derek again, and Derek offered to help Isaac with schoolwork, and explained why he was willing to let others into the pack. And Allison and Liam bonded over the fact that they’ve been checking on their friends for a while now.
Beacon Hills may be more dangerous than ever with the alphas in town, but if Deucalion was counting on a divided pack, he is in for a surprise; the pack is drawing closer than ever, and they’re stronger than ever.
The reaction gifs and pictures that we use while playing often depict our faceclaims at a variety of ages, with different hairstyles, different looks, and different just about everything! But what do the characters look like right now? That is what this week’s task is all about!
Post a picture, a gif, photoset, collage, or combination showing us what your character currently looks like! This will give us all a better mental image of what everyone’s characters look like, which will be a lot of fun to know, too!
Please note: Don’t worry about posting a picture of your characters faceclaim as they were at the actual age of your character. (Unless, of course, you think that is how they look in the Wolf Out universe!) Just post a picture of what your character looks like to you! And don’t worry about posting fashion or aesthetics in this task either-- those tasks are yet to come!
If you do this task, don’t forget to tag it as wolfouttask!
HAVE FUN!
Lovelovelove,
Ally A
P.S. Thank you to Bria for inspiring this task! If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let us know! We would love to hear from you!
School may be out for summer, but with the alpha pack still lurking in the shadows and the identity of the darach remaining unknown, summer vacation isn’t quite relaxing for the pack.
After Cora revealed the truth about where she had been for the past eight years, and why she had really returned to Beacon Hills to both Derek and Katie, and was met with understanding and acceptance, it seemed as though things might begin to work out. But Deucalion, as always, had other plans, and cornered Cora at the supermarket, attempting to manipulate her once more. They were interrupted by Scott, who stood up for Cora, and expressed his understanding, as well. Deucalion, however, claimed to want to settle things with himself, Scott, and Derek...
Scott called a pack meeting to discuss what had happened, and what the pack should do next. Discussions between the pack members made it clear just how affected they were by everything that is going on...and just how far they are all willing to go in order to put a stop to things, and to protect their friends and loved ones. While Derek and Allison quickly began to plan strategy, Lydia and Connor discussed what to do, and so did Scott and Jackson. Liam and Lucy had a heartfelt discussion about the matter at hand, as well as about their friendship and being werewolves in general.
The Argent girls, meanwhile, remain steadfast in their determination to not let the history of their family define them. Rory has been training with the war sword, and has decided to give it that same second chance. And Allison has decided on a new code for them to follow: Nous protégeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protéger eux-mêmes: We protect those who cannot protect themselves. Rory is concerned about the other Argent girl, as well, and opened up to Fiona about it.
That same steadfast determination exists in Lo, as well, who seems willing to do whatever it takes to be there for Ava...and to put a stop to Deucalion once and for all. And Ivy is likewise determined to figure out what exactly is going on around Beacon Hills. Riley and Natalie, meanwhile, are determined to find a way to use their magic together, despite the opposing elements...with some interesting results.
But everything isn’t all grim. Boyd and Isaac have realized that one of the many good things about all of this is that they’ve met their best friend because of it: each other. Isaac and Katie bonded and grew closer, too. And Jackson and Liam bonded and realized that the friendships between the pack were very real, as well...and Jackson commented on certain feelings between Liam and Sandy that the two of them may not be so aware of themselves just yet! Now that Duncan is home from college, will he help Sandy realize how she feels about Liam? Or will the two of them somehow wind up entangled in the supernatural, as well? Will Ivy learn the truth about what is going on in Beacon Hills? And how will the rest of the pack take the knowledge that Cora was once close with Deucalion? Perhaps most worryingly of all, what will happen when they come face-to-face with the alphas again?
