"You both will be excellent parents." Wyatt had a feeling that they both would. Conrad and Renee were full of kindness, there was no doubt about that. "Rayna always started the fights. She pounces me, it's fair game." He laughed, "But never any serious injury." He winked, anyone that was going to hurt any of his sisters on purpose he would put them down. Wyatt leaned his head on the back of the recliner turning his head to look at Conrad. "I don't know. When I found out about it, my sisters told me to stay home. Don't go out. I got tired of hiding, I just wanted to relax at a bar...next thing you know I'm jumped." The rest was history but if he didn't go out he wouldn't be a beta either. "I'm sorry you're going through that at the hospital. This whole thing..whatever is going on..it's fucked up. Scaring innocent people. Us werewolves, we just want to live a normal life as everyone else."
"That's the thing you shouldn't have to hide or not go out because of these hunters. The issue for all of this is they convinced a bunch of supernaturals that they were on their side but we all know they aren't." he huffed. "It's okay, I try my best to not let it get to me but..you know." he cleared his throat before facing Wyatt. "There has to be a way to fix all of this. It will never go back to the way it was but try and make it better again. I know we ca-." before he could finish his phone rang. Seeing it was Braxton he exhaled loudly. "What does he want now?" he groaned before answering. "Hey, why are yo-." he couldn't finish his sentence before Braxton spoke up. The panic in his voice was serious.
"Madison is stuck in surgery right now so she won't answer my calls or text and I am freakin' out because my daughter's wrist is red and inflamed where they put that fuckin' bracelet on!" a second voice came in, "These monsters put a deadly piece of jewelry on a baby! There is zero reason to do this crap to CHILDREN!" he knew this was Kelly. "Maisie keeps tugging at it and it's causing it to tighten around her! We don't know what to do!" Conrad collected himself, "The best advice I can give you is to distract her from pulling at it. Do you have a home wolf kit at your place? Good! There should be some jel in there that you can put underneath the bracelet. It was temporary numb the area for up to 24 hours. You'll have to apply it every day at the same time. Eventually, she'll get used to the bracelet and won't even notice it. Maybe a week top. For the redness and swelling use some baking powder, water and a small drop of liquid children pain reliever. It should help." Braxton thanked the doctor before hanging up and turned to Wyatt. "This night is one that I will never forget." he laughed trying to ease the tension.
