Tattooist/ florist au codywan inspired by Ink in the Flowers. It’s one chapter so far but I can’t wait to see where it goes!

I hope Cody’s tattoos are ok. I want to be respectful of Maori culture and tradition and not copy designs that I don’t thorougly understand, so I made up my own patterns inspired by Ta Moko/ Kiri Tuhi, not actual Maori designs if that makes sense. Please feel free to share your thoughts on this topic! I would be really interested to hear what others think!

WIP I’ve got going right now. Still very rough but I’ve mostly got the colors and values worked out.

I’m thinking this is also set in the Reconstruction Corps AU from my last two images (here and here). Cody and Obi-Wan are obviously both very important figures in planning and negotiating things after the war concludes, so they’re incredibly busy with all that, especially for the first year or so.

After things start to calm down a tiny bit, though, they occasionally join teams from the Reconstruction and Exploration Corps in a semi-official capacity. Whenever they’re working with people who know them well, though, they tend to get shooed away because everyone is aware of how little free time they get.

This is one such case. They’re with a small team of Jedi and clones surveying a remote, mostly desert planet, in search of archeological sites. The team hasn’t encountered any hostile flora or fauna during the trip, so they’re relaxing in the cool desert evening. <3
