Cody Collins | Seventh Year | Gryffindor | FC: Alex Gaskarth

✘Cody Collins was born on December 14th, and has quite the past. He was born to a muggle family, but at an early age, strange happenstances started occurring, to which his parents couldn’t explain. The day he turned 11, his parents were shocked to find an owl swoop right into their living room and land right on Cody’s shoulder to hand him his letter, much to the boy’s surprise. He thought it was just some sort of early birthday present/prank his parents were pulling on him, but that wasn’t the case. His parents, being the kind, accepting people they were, were nothing but supportive of their son, and even accompanied him to Diagon Ally to get his things for school. Upon arriving at Hogwarts, he’d been sorted into Gryffindor within the first minute of the hat sitting on his head. He’s the kind of guy that thinks cats and owls are too mainstream to have as pets, and snuck in a pet Puffskein (which is basically a spherical puff ball that doesn’t mind being cuddled or thrown about like a quaffle. Cody uses it for quidditch practice)

✘He easily coasted through the first six years at Hogwarts with excellent marks, having inherited his mother’s smarts. He’d gotten E’s and O’s across the board on his OWLS. He’d joined the quidditch team early on as a chaser, but immediately realized he had a natural talent for being a seeker instead, and stuck with that position from then on. He made fast friends with people from every house, even some Slytherins. Holidays are tough for him when everyone gets to go home to mom and dad, especially Christmastime—he just never shows it because he’s always so upbeat and energetic.

✘After things got crazy and the Deaucalion surfaced, Cody cracked down on the books to arm himself with as many defensive spells he could learn, and is always willing to teach any fellow students, no matter what house they’re in. He keeps in contact with his muggle parents, just to make sure they’re safe in these dark times, since they’re the only family he has. He knows how much danger they’re in, and would do literally anything to protect them at all costs.

✘Cody is very personable, has a great sense of humor and is VERY, very kind-hearted to everyone he comes in contact with. He may be little quirky, immature, and aloof, maybe even a little spacy and just plain weird at times, but he means well. He may be scrawny and lanky, but don’t let that fool you—he’s quick as a whip with spells just as he is with sass and sarcasm, and twice as cunning. He knows he’s at the bottom of the social ladder, being muggle born an all, but that doesn’t hinder him from excelling in his grades and sport. If anything, he welcomes the harassment from purebloods. He’s academically motivated, but lazy in most other ways…I.E. being extremely laid back in everything but quidditch. He’s a prankster at heart and always finds some reason to pull a fast one on unsuspecting students, as well as professors.

Congratulations to Gryffindor!

                                 With a score of 60, Gryffindor caught the snitch, earning 150 more points and ending the match with a score of 210 and Hufflepuff at 100.  The game lasted for just under two hours, and it was quite the fight for both teams.  Great job Hufflepuff for being in the lead for 80 minutes straight!  Way to make your competitors sweat!  However, like most cases, catching the snitch was the key for victory.

Congratulations to Gryffindor on two wins in a row!

--Quidditch!--

Hi everyone!  Since we all love Quidditch, I'd like to ask what you would all prefer when approaching it in this RP.

1) Multiple parts of the team (whoever's available) will act out the goings-on in paragraph form - and gain points based on quality and/or an online generator

2) One member of the team (whoever's available) will act out key points in sentence form - and gain points based on quality and/or an online generator

3) No one acts out the goings-on in the match, rather, I use an online generator to determine the outcome, and you can fill in the blanks afterward

4) Any combination of the three or something entirely different

A lot of this will need people to be active if the match would be played out, but if that's an issue we can always go the easy route (completely randomize the outcome with an online generator)

So, if you have any thoughts or suggestions, please answer this post so we can make Quidditch a more prominent part of this RP.  I believe there was supposed to be a match between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, so let's do this!

Scott McCall l Seventh Year l Hufflepuff l Remus Lupin l FC: Tyler Posey

✘Scott McCall, born the 22nd of September was a nobody. Sure he was a wizard, just like his parents and every McCall ever known, but in a general sense, he was just another kid. His dad, Melissa and Scott’s own personal hell, walked out on them a little after he turned ten, and while the money situation was tight, the pair were never happier. But happiness definitely didn’t mean normality. Just a month later, Scott was bit, and became a werewolf.

✘After the bite his only thoughts revolved around how he could never go to Hogwarts now. He was a threat, lethal in every sense, and with that, his dreams silently faded into nothingness. Then came the shining savior, Professor Deaton. He offered up a way to still get Scott to Hogwarts AND ensure the safety of the school, and with that the beacon of hope that was Hogwarts burned brighter, and on September 1st, Scott McCall bordered the train that would forever change his life.

✘On the train, came his two best friends, Isaac Lahey and Stils Stilinski. The trio instantly clicked, and from that formed the infamous marauders. They were sneaky, funny and most importantly witty. Seeing as how light hearted Scott in particular is, their pranks never run cruel, and while their common hot spot is detention, they’re still known as some of the brightest. With them, Scott was a somebody, and they didn’t care he was a monster. Or so he thought.

✘Come fifth year yet another drastic change appeared and suddenly Scott wasn’t the only one with a particular distaste for the full moon. Isaac Lahey, his new room mate, was now a full blown werewolf. Ironically enough, the process to become an animagus, something Stiles and Isaac were planning on showing Scott the next month, became unnecessary for Isaac. Stiles still fought along with the process, and now the three boys, two wolves and an animagus black dog can be found in the shrieking shack. Now, with things becoming far more serious, Scott must fight to protect the ones he loves, including the girl of his dreams, Allison Argent. Where Scott is a pure blood wizard, he’s still known as a blood traitor, making him high on the death eater’s hit list, not that he cares. As soon as seventh year comes to a close, he’s joining the order of the Phoenix, and never looking back. It’s now or never right?

Cora Hale | Seventh Year | Slytherin | FC: Adelaide Kane

✘Cora Hale, born August 9th, is the youngest Hale and sister to Derek.  Like the rest of her family, she was born and raised with the gift of lycanthropy.  Also a pureblood witch, Cora held her head high with pride to her superior status.  Rather than looking down on muggleborns and anyone less than purebloods, she took quite the shining to her werewolf prowess and saw herself above mere humans.

✘Humans, in her eyes, were weak, insignificant, and downright pathetic at times.  If her snarky comments and looks of disgust were any indication, even those with the purest of magical blood were inferior to those with lycanthropy.  This is why it became no shock to anyone that she preferred the company of other werewolves, and took to actively seeking them out, but quickly became discouraged when her mother forbid her from consorting with members of a different pack.  This turned Cora into a loner, thinking that if she can’t be friends with werewolves, there was no way in hell she’d resort to humans.

✘Before getting the chance to enter Hogwarts, things took a bad turn when her family burned in a fire, leaving (to her knowledge) only herself to be the last of the Hales.  Distraught, she fled to France, and enrolled in Beauxbatons as an orphan, living under the care of Headmistress Olympe Maxime.  Although she was no werewolf, her half-giant status proved to be ‘enough’ for Cora, and eventually developed a fondness for her new guardian.  There she studied magic until the end of her sixth year, when she heard about the last Hale, building a pack of werewolves in her hometown of Beacon Hills.  Hope renewed, Cora left Beauxbatons and went home to see her brother Derek, indeed building a pack.  But it wasn’t how she expected, seeing his band of misfits, and quickly regretted returning home, even after finding out she wasn’t the last Hale after all.

✘Now, she’s enrolled as a seventh year Slytherin, constantly keeping in touch with her previous guardian, by owl, and is slowly starting to rebuild what family she has left.  With Deucalion’s power threatening the already fragile foundation her life stood on, she and her ‘pack’ has to be ready.  And by the stars she won’t lose everything again, even though she doesn’t approve of her brother’s actions.

Peter Hale | Thirty-Three | Ex-Slytherin | FC: Ian Bohen

✘ Peter Hale, born November 8th, is the truest Slytherin of all the Hales.  Although the uncle of Derek and Cora, he rather used his role to become 'friends', getting in close and knowing every intimate detail of their lives.  Derek especially.  Manipulative to a tee, Peter has made quite the habit of worming his way in and pulling strings no one knew was even there.  Quiet, he keeps to the sidelines and expertly sizes up his opponents by observing.  A master of the human mind, he knows just what to say, when to say it, and how to come across.  Most of the time people don't know what he's done until it's too late.  Charming.  Deadly.

✘ After the Hale house fire, where Peter lost everything, things went a bit sour. He learned what it means to fight, and most importantly how to. Laying your cards on the table just wasn't going to cut it anymore, everything had to be done underhanded. For example, all these mysterious werewolves popping up, are courtesy of none of then Peter Hale. Having bit who he's sees fit, Peter thinks himself as some sort of anonymous war leader.

✘ Now as he examines from afar, known to most as just the keeper of keys at Hogwarts, he's realized that this war means more than just fighting. It means fighting and while Peter doesn't believe in much, he believes in winning. And while he may not have the strongest morals, he has some. Or at least enough to stay away from Deucalion and his band of followers.

✘ Coming 'back to life' wasn't exactly a welcoming parade. Derek and Cora were in somewhat of a shock, and while Derek might be the Alpha, Peter's got a valued opinion. It might not seem like it, but everyone knows Peter can manipulate someone into giving him everything. Their house, their money,  even their wand. Now it's time for Peter to come back, and come back fighting, because losing to Deucalion is no way to go.
