The consequences of the crimes

Be careful at using and abusing the internet as Benigno Aquino III signed the Republic Act 10675 this September 12, 2012. Here are few of the 16 crimes you need to avoid and its consequence if done.

Computer-related Identity theft

Stealing another personal information as their own identity for scamming can be punished by incarceration of 6 to 12 years or a fine of atleast P200,000.

Cybersex

This crime involves the use of the internet for sexual purposes. It could be a couple or a "not in a relationship" partner who are paid to perform. However, they could still file a case if they are forced to be engaged in it.

Illegal Access

Accessing a computer system or application without a permission can be punished by incarceration of 6 to 12 years or a fine of at least Two hundred thousand pesos.

Cyber-squatting

Using other domain name to destroy other reputation can be punished by incarceration of 6 to 12 years or a fine of P500,000.

Fashionable yet tolerable clothing you can wear every wash day.

Most students wear simple clothing every wash-day, but some takes the opportunity to show off their ripped jeans, extremely shirt skirt, sando - like seriously, is this even a school or your boardinghouse? - and other clothes that doesn’t just expose a lot of skin but also violate the school’s dress code. However, there are still stylish yet tolerable apparel you can wear every what other students call “Fashion day” or Wash day.

Printed T-shirts

Who says t-shirts are out of style when it reflects your identity? Even the plain tees show how simple you are. While the printed ones can show how creative or sinister you can be.

Hoodie

This one is one only stylish when it's cold but when the temperature rises it kinda looks like you just wanted to show off your printed hoodie from the club you are in or from the other university. *cough* DLSU jacket *cough*

Cardigan

To those who have no idea what is Cardigan, it is a knitted garment that has an open front. Its common types have buttons but the more modern version doesn't have any and hangs open by design

“Design and Development of Microcontroller Based Aquaponics Monitoring and Control System with Android Application”

Mr. Renzon M. Rodil together with his partner Mr. Gideon T. Del Mundo created a thesis entitled: “Design and Development of Microcontroller Based Aquaponics Monitoring and Control System with Android Application” under the supervision Prof. Bienvenido Samiento. The study is about modernizing the traditional aquaponics monitoring and control system by creating an android application so that the user can still keep on track while they are away from home. Aquaponics is a system cycle for growing plants and fishes in the same place where the fish waste is used as a fertilizer to the plant and while the plant filters the water with no hassle. Furthermore, Mr. Renzon said that this topic was successfully presented on a research center even if it is only a thesis grant and they only had a month of monitoring. He added that if they will have the opportunity to improve the study they will more necessary parts such as the lights.

Citizen Journalism: a flawed yet a stepping stone.

From the filthiest site to the grandest palace, the media can have an access to cover a report. But what if there's a turn of event that happened so fast that the police and the ambulance can't make it on time for the rescue? What if there's an incident inside a building which is too dangerous that people are nit allowed to enter? How can they gather information if they can't be there? Citizen Journalism.

This concept is about the people who had a role in collecting, reporting, analyzing and disseminating news and information just like what a professional journalist do. In this way the media can have a broader access. The rise of the social media sites open the opportunities to the public to be involved in news gathering. However, it also includes those people who are bias, amateurs and have hidden agendas.

Citizen Journalism can be a s stepping stone for a better news dissemination, but it is still flawed. However, the solution is simple. They need to be at least taught in the basics of Journalism.

Sa pinakahuling pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika sa Cavite State University, dalawang tula ang umantig at kumurot sa aking puso. Ang "ABAKADA" ni Elaine Jasmine Endaya at ang" Pilipino ka pa rin ba? " ni Paulline Santiagio, na parehas na ika-tatlong taong mag-aaral mula sa AB Journalism at magkatulad ng mensahing nais ihatid.

안영하세요! Bonjour! Ilan lamang ysn sa mga wikang banyaga na pamilyar para sa iba sa atin. Marami sa mga kabatan ang nahuhumalig sa lingguwahing banyaga, marahil ito ay kaaya-aya o nagbibigay sa atin ng espesyal na katangian o marahil sa mga dayuhang unti-unting lumamon at sumakop sa sistema natin. Dahil sa mga Kastila karamihan sa salita natin ay espanyol o hango dito. Dahik sa mga Amerikano, Ingles ang ating ikalawang lengguwahe - na naging sukatan ng katalinuhan para sa iba. Dahil dito ay maraming banyaga sa sariling wika.

Aaminin kong isa ako sa mga taong nahumalig sa mga iba't ibang wika at aamin ko ring naging isang pagsubok para sa akin ang pagsulat ng Tagalog sspagkat nasanay ako sa wikang Ingles. Subalit mas masarap pa ring magbasa ng Tagalog sapagkat mas ramdam ko ang emosyon dahil mas naiintindihan mo ang iyong binabasa.

Tunay ngang wika nati'y mapagbago at lubos tayong magiliw sa mga bisita o hospitable kahit na sa mga banyaga. Ngunit wag nating kalimutan ang sariling atin at ibaon sa limot ang ating yaman.

Nitong ika-31 ng Agosto ginanap ang PANATA 2017. Sa kalagitnaan ng programa hinati sa dalawang grupo ang mga panauhin at pinapili ng 5 miyembro upang gumawa ng isahang tula. Sa di inaasahang pagkakataon, naging kagrupo ko sila Kimberly Dolot, Chelsea Mercado, Ivie Joy Dilig at si Stephanie Ebrada.

Wala. Nag-umpisa kami sa wala sapagkat ito'y biglaan, ngunit ang wala ay naging salita hanggang sa nabuo ang isang talata at isinilang ang ginawa naming tula.

"Ngayo'y kinabig ng dila ang boses palabas, Himno at letra'y nilkha ng walang dugas. Unang salita'y gagawin kong alas, mga nagbabagong saloobi'y aking ibibigkas. Ikaw! Ay aking sasalubungin, ng magandang bati gamit ang wika natin. Ito'y dapat nating pagyabungin! Maging ant kultura't sining na rin. Wikang Filipino'y ating tangkilikin. Pagtangkilik sa ibang wika'y dapat naring baguhin. Bibig at dila'y ating hasain, pagkat kabayan, yan ay sariling atin. Panata ko'y paghasain ang mga salita. Panata ko'y paglinangin sang sariling wika. Panata ko'y pag-ibig sa sariling bansa. Ikaw! Anong panata ang tiyak mong magagawa?"
