i promise you - no one cares that people drew tamlin during rhys week..
Genuine question:
If the IC, Feyre, or Rhys had done nothing to help Nesta in any way, would you all still hate them? Would you criticize them for not stepping in to help someone that was described as being almost anorexic? Would you still write long posts about their selfishness?
What could they have done differently? Because I feel like if they instead stripped her of her financial dependence on them, like many of you say they could’ve done, they would then be criticized for not providing support to someone in a new world.
What other kind of intervention could they have done? What else could they have provided her other than giving her the ability to work with those who were in similar situations? Giving her the ability to train and strengthen her body? Allowing her to break Illyrian tradition and participate in the Blood Rite?
I need to know what they could’ve done that would’ve made anti-ics, anti-feyres, and anti-rhys fans any happier with the situation.
When I use the Term "Prized Breeding Mare" To call Feyre hypocritical.
This is the context:
“A year ago, I’d been stuffed into fine gowns and jewels, made to parade in front of a preening court who’d gawked at me like a prized breeding mare.”
To
She wore a dress of sparkling black panels, much like the one she'd first worn here and it did nothing to hide her swelling belly. No, it showed off her pregnant womb, gleaming in the candlelight. Rhys's face was a portrait of smug, male pride.
Nothing to do with her being a Breeder..
If that's not exactly what Feyre was hating in SC maybe I need glasses.
She is quite literally parading around HC with full belly hardly wearing anything.
You do you girl. But I'm just pointing out the full 180° she's made. And how I see it as a disservice to her character.
(Sorry if my previous posts didn't make this point. It's late and I'm tired. Apparently they were upset when I accidentally put breeding mule for like a minute and corrected my mistake. Which was just me covering my tracks.. 🥸)
I’ve seen some reblogs of this trying to paint the original post as saying Feyre being a mom is a flaw and ???????? No???????
There’s a difference between entering motherhood and the way she is utterly put on display as both Rhysand’s conquest and nothing more than flesh to be gawked at. It is not about the joys or beauty of motherhood.
Additionally, to the reblogs that say something along the lines of “she watched Rhysand die and didn’t want to live in a world where a piece of him didn’t exist” …
Babes. She can have 100 million Rhysand babies. When Rhysand stops existing, so does she, she’ll literally never again experience a world without him in it….because these two are fucking idiots running on pure vibes and spur of the moment chaos.
Also, I will never not be mad that Feyre will literally never get the chance to experience the world without trauma, a war to fight, or being tied to taking care of someone else. Rhysand has had five hundred years to experience the world, to grow and discover who he is…Feyre is in her early 20s. She’s a baby who hardly knows anything except abuse and trauma.
And once more, she is simply the caretaker.
she was just presenting her pregnancy though? She wasn’t being “paraded” around. It’s like if you don’t tell your family you’re pregnant, and then you show up to announce it with a very obvious stomach. Feyre’s point was always that she didnt want it to define her. It was supposed to be a metaphor, not taken literally. Rhys isn’t “putting her on display” if SHE chose the outfit. She is honestly putting herself on display and there is nothing wrong with that. People are angry because she could’ve said all of this without the “breeding mare” part and then told everyone it wasn’t about the fact she was a mother when it’s in the title. people wouldn’t be half as mad if she left out an incredibly dehumanizing word and just said she thought she was a hypocrite.
Nesta's Verbal Abuse
@oristian
Feyre on hearing Nesta's voice in her head:
Emerie on hearing her father's voice in her head:
Verbal abuse can also come in all shapes and sizes:
name-calling
condescension
manipulation
criticism
demeaning comments
threats
blame
accusations
Name-Calling:
- "A half-wild beast, Nesta had once called me."
- Called her a pig
- Called her ugly
Manipulation/Condescension:
Demeaning Comments/Criticism:
If you truly see all of this evidence and think that Nesta still wasn't verbally abusive to Feyre, then I'm concerned. This isn't even ALL of it. This is just from ACOTAR and the beginning of ACOMAF. Imagine how much more there was in ACOSF.
Typically, I agree with people's arguments against the IC and how they treat Nesta. Honestly - I don't even give a shit. Because it's all mutual. But this was a sister hating another simply because they took the initiative to keep the family alive. If you can't see that... then I'm not sure what to say.
I love how Elain didn't give a care in the world that Lucien was sleeping UPSTAIRS when she initiated all those very intimate moments with Azriel.
Antis really be saying she wants Lucien instead and is too afraid of her feelings for him. I mean really how dense do you have to be.
You blocked me bc i told the other person she ate that? Wth 😭
