The national and international media are not paying enough attention to this situation, and they are also not showing the horrors that this flood has caused. The despair of the population is enormous, as thousands of people are missing and possibly dead. The responsible authorities, unfortunately, are not fulfilling their role. As a result, the population itself is having to rescue the survivors, at the same time as they deal with the fact that they have lost everything, including their homes. In most places, they are not having access to electricity and water.
