Spanish Rapier

Measurements: length 121Â cm
The sword has a straight, double-edged blade of lenticular section, grooved at the forte, with the inscription âCLEMENS HORNNâ. The richly chiselled iron hilt features remains of silver and gold plating. At the front theseâs a large heart-shaped valve, pierced with floral motifs, at the centre a relieved mask, while at the back thereâs a knuckle-guard decorated en suite. The quillons and guard are ending with head of dragons. The large pommel features effigy of a face at the front side and a dragon at the rear one.
