I've made a redesign for Inmo for my FTO rewrite/au. A warm weather and a cold weather outfit, I have taken away his suspender privileges.
Close-ups and explanations below the cut
Body:
I made his bowl cut messy cause that feels right for Inmo. I also covered Inmo in a bunch of small scars and his nose is slightly crooked. It's not visible but he does have sharp teeth. As well as making his demon eye have a larger iris. His ear is supposed to be ever so slightly pointed, not much though. His nails are black and his feet have a black fade to them, also he only has 4 toes. He stands on the balls of his feet just cause.
Warm outfit:
This is based off of his season 5 outfit. I didn't change too much about his outfit. But I did remove his suspender privileges. I did let him keep his glove, although I'm 50/50 on it. He gets some harnesses to compensate for the lack of suspenders. One on his chest and one and his legs that connect to his belt and it has a pouch on his left side too. He also gets some accessories a lot of studded bracelets and a tiny belt, I made them brown to match with his shoulder guard. Speaking of his shoulder guard I have also changed it up as well, I imagine Bjorn's shoulder guard would be too big for Inmo to properly wear, but it's like his first shoulder guard but with some spikes. His pants are grey high rise and the bottoms are rolled up. He also of course has his handkerchief tied around his neck.
Cold outfit:
This outfit is based off of his season 4 design. He has the chest harness from the previous design, but the leg harness is different as it doesn't have a pouch. He also has the bracelets from his previous design as well plus a leather cord bracelet and munis a studded one. Of course he still has the shoulder guard. He has his green sleeveless sweater it's a turtleneck. His pants are light tan. He also has some I'm not too sure what to call them but they're black and on his arms and feet, leaving his fingers, shoulders, toes and heels exposed. The way I colored them makes them look like leather, they might be leather.

Anyway, tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of OriginsMCRP (I know it ended 4 years ago but let me have this). I feel old even though I'm only 20 and I got into it in 2020, so i wasn't even there for the beginning.
This is Leaf's fault even if Leaf hasn't made a post about the coloration of the dragon slayers in a bit, it started me on this train of thought.
So the coloration of the dragon slayers. First let's go over canon colorations. And I am referring to their dragon slayer/dragon force forms.
Allumos (Celestial Dragon Slayer): Neon Fucking green (scales, wings, hair and irises)
Blake (Storm Dragon Slayer): Teal (scales and hair)
Bryan (Fire Dragon Slayer): Red (scales, horns, wings and irises) and cream (wing membrane and sclera)
• S4: Red (scales, and irises), Black (wing base) and golden yellow (wing membrane and sclera)
Colin (Shadow Dragon Slayer): Purple/Magenta (irises), and black (markings and wings)
• S4: navy blue/indigo (hair and iris), dark red (sclera) and black (markings and wings)
Davis (Lightning Dragon Slayer): Bright blue (lightning marks) and red (hair)
• Unconnected Fairy Tail MCRP: Dark blue (scales), bright blue (lightning marks) and red (hair)
Mario (Cavern Dragon Slayer): Brownish-Green (scales), and copper (eyes; dragon king mode)
• S4: Brown (scales), and green (horns)
Mori (Spirit Dragon Slayer): Unknown
Seek (Light Dragon Slayer): Unknown
Viper (Poison Dragon Slayer): Magenta/purple (Markings, hair and eyes), lighter magenta (right sclera) and black (base markings)
So as Leaf pointed out some of the colors -Allumos'- are dumb and some overlap a bit with the others Colin with Viper and I guess Davis and Blake but they have similar magic so the latter two get an excuse.
Now I'm going to suggest some alt colorations or just coloration in general since Mori and Seek don't have colors in canon. Bullet points will be possible alternative combos.
Mario (Cavern Dragon Slayer): Mostly the same coloration, but maybe more separate green and brown in the scales, and if he were to get horns, maybe a pale green, cream or copper color. I think the coppery eyes are cool, but hazel (mixed copper and green) could be fun too.
• Base scales brown with green hints especially near his back like moss growing on a stone, hazel eyes, and cream horns.
• Streaks of Brown and green in their hair would be fun too
Colin (Shadow dragon slayer): I like the more S4 style coloration of navy blue/indigo rather than purple/magenta. Maybe not the dark red sclera though, although it is unsettling if we want to go for that. If we do use the dark red then maybe some other tiny dark red details too. Also black markings are fun, although fading them with dark blue or purple could be nice.
• Black scales with accents of Navy blue/Indigo and dark red.
Bryan (Fire Dragon Slayer): Buddy you are too red, I'm stealing your monochromatic privileges. Adding back in the oranges and yellows and even black. Although not black for wings I'd imagine more for horns and claws. Yellow sclera are back, and maybe more of an orange/red fade for his irises. Red pupils cause idk why he loses his pupils in s5.
• Red, orange and yellow scales with black accents, black or dark red horns.
Davis: I like what he has going on with his FT MCRP counterpart. I do really like the dark blue scales. Adds differentiation between him and Blake.
• Dark blue scales that fade to the electric blue on the underside, electric blue marks
° Maybe hair can have streaks of either electric yellow or blue after the red fade?
Mori (Spirit Dragon Slayer): Now Mori is also an open book for coloration since 'Spirit' doesn't have a distinct color coordination. Although paler colors would be good. Maybe we can give the green to Mori. That or maybe pale turquoise or pale blue.
Seek (Light Dragon Slayer): Whites and yellows seem like the obvious coloration choices for light magic. Even blue could work. If you're being very creative you could do iridescent cause prisms and stuff.

• Pale yellow with white underside and gold accents
• White with yellow and blue accents
° Eyes could be either yellow or blue
° Bioluminescent blue spots could be very fun
• Pale green scales and maybe hair too, pale blue eye and pale turquoise eye

Elaine/Blake's replacement (Storm Dragon Slayer): I think the teal is fun especially since I want to give Elaine pink hair, but alternatively colors like white silver and grey could also be good additions as well. I want her to be based off of a Japanese style dragon. The whole can walk on air thing that was mentioned in canon is something I am reminded of.

• Aurora Borealis theme? Allowed to keep the the green this way.

Viper (Poison Dragon Slayer): Now I do love his canon coloration, but Poison could have a lot of colors technically, especially in nature it's usually just bright colors in general often paired with black and white.
Definitely keeping the black markings it makes other bright colors stand out more. I just realized there is so much I could base Viper off of I'll do Viper's in a reblog of this post

Viper (Poison Dragon Slayer):
Black markings will be kept for two reasons 1 in nature poisonous/venomous creatures often have black to make their bright warning colors brighter and two it's specifically related to the original dragon slayers' Lachrima.
If we were to base Viper's coloration off of real things we can have a bit of fun here. First off is Venomous/Poisonous animals.
Birds-
Red warbler- Red body with black wings and eye marks
Bronzewing Pigeon- Reddish pigeon with rainbow wings
Hoopoe- Tan body with crest and wings in white and black stripes
Amphibians-
Tritus (genus) of crested and marbled newt-
• Marbled newt- Dark-spotted, reticulate or marbled on green background; sometimes fine white stippling on flanks; females often with orange-red line from back to tail
• Pygmy marbled newt- Dark-spotted, reticulate or marbled on green background; females often with orange-red line from back to tail underside yellow-cream with large black and smaller white spots
Looks like a dinosaur
Poison Dart frogs- Comes in many colors and gets poison from diet.
Reptiles-
Yellow-bellied sea snake- Black with yellow belly, aquatic.
Many-banded krait- Black to Bluish-Black scales with many white bands. Inhabits marshes.
Black mamba- Almost never bites without venom. Grey with white underside and black mouth.
° I think the black mouth would be neat
Green mamba- Yellowish-green scales and is arboreal.
Coral snake- Red yellow and black striped scales.
Saw scaled Viper- Reddish diamond showed scales on Buff back ground with black edges.
Gila Monster- Orangish pink scales with black splotches.
Now onto some poisonous plants, in canon Viper has Poison Ivy patterns on his body.
Poppy flowers- Come in many varieties, and colors ranging from reds, oranges, yellows, whites, pinks, purples, and blues. The Japanese wood poppy and opium poppy both come in purple colors.
Opium poppies can cause psychoactive effects, sleep and can be used for a pain killer.
I just think using Poppies for him would be fun, cause they're also used to represent death.
Wolf's bane (Aconitum)- Poisonous and comes in blue-purple, wine red, white, cream, blue, pink, and bi colors, etc. Causes respiratory paralysis and heart failure.

Deadly nightshade/Belladonna- Poisonous foliage and fruit. Causing hallucinations and delirium. Purple flowers and black fruit.

Water hemlock/Snake weed (Cicuta)- Small green or white petals, it is an aquatic plant often growing in marshes. Ingestion causes seizures. Has a higher LD⁵⁰ lvl than arsenic.

I was looking at the poisonous plants Wikipedia page and there is a lot, even common ivy is on there.
Ok so out of all of this and other types of poisonous and venomous wildlife. I think maybe the Red headed poison Dart frog might be fun, as well as the marbled newts or even the Hoopoe with their black and white stripes. For plants Poppies and water hemlock might also be fun. If I were to choose snake inspiration though I like the black mouth of the black mamba, and the bright green of the green mamba, but I like the pattern of the saw scaled viper (also it is a viper).

Hello for Disability Pride Month I've decided to write down some disability headcanons PLUS the canon stuff I know of.... :3 yay. This'll be a two parter, with 26 (as of writing this) characters featured in total. I intended for this to be only one post but uh... Tumblr began to lag and I didn't want it to crash so... Two posts it is! Also if you couldn't tell this is going to be very long.

Canon: C-PTSD (NEVER EXPLICITLY STATED BUT LIKE COME ON). If it didn't develop due to their village being destroyed or the War or Everything Else, it definitely happened because of the Lacrima.
Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a mental health condition that can develop if you experience chronic trauma. [...] According to the ICD-11, complex PTSD includes most of the core symptoms of PTSD, such as:
Flashbacks (re-experiencing the traumatic event).

Headcanon: OCA Albinism, a set of disorders that affect the melanin production within the body. People with albinism also have vision problems due to the absence of melanin [link]. People with albinism are more prone to skin cancer from getting sun burnt. Some of the eye problems one can experience due to albinism include:

Headcanon: Prosopagnosia, which is a cognitive disorder that causes difficulty in recognising people's faces. Don't know why exactly I HC this but I've always liked it so 🤷♂️

Headcanon: hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS)* is an inherited condition that affects the connective tissues within the body.

Headcanon: Chronic pain*, largely around his back and shoulder area due to both repeated injuries and the physical strain that growing wings have on its body.
* this headcanon is only really present within Allumos' original body and his doll body. While Pádraig's body did struggle to handle the growth of the wings, the usage was limited enough to avoid permanent damage.
Blake
Canon: Colourblind, never confirmed which type of colourblindness Blake has however, so I had to make an educated guess. That being Tritanopia, blue–yellow colourblindness.
[...] Tritanopia does not make it difficult to tell the difference between blue and yellow but colors that contain blue or yellow. Difficulties lie between green–blue, yellow–pink and purple–red.

Headcanon: PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. If it didn't develop due to the Drought/Famine, it definitely developed from their stay at Devil's Tongue.

Motor symptoms include:
Muscle weakness and paralysis. Nerve deterioration from peripheral neuropathy weakens the connected muscles. That can cause paralysis, which may cause difficulty moving the toes, foot drop and hand weakness. Weakness can also affect muscles in the thighs, arms and elsewhere.
Muscle atrophy. Loss of nerve connection can cause muscles to shrink in size, as well as weaken. This especially happens in the feet, lower legs and hands with peripheral neuropathy. Sometimes there are deformities of the feet and hands because of muscle loss.
Uncontrolled muscle movements. Sometimes, nerves that lose their connection to the brain because of peripheral neuropathy become hyperactive on their own, causing cramps.
Sensory symptoms include:
Numbness. This happens when nerves can’t send or relay sensory signals, causing the loss of specific types of sensations. An example of this would be picking up a cold [fizzy drink], but not feeling the smoothness or coldness of the can, or not being able to feel the texture of carpet or the temperature of the floor through your feet.
Imbalance and clumsiness. Nerves also carry sensations that your brain uses to keep track of the location of your hands and feet. You’re not consciously aware of these sensations, but they’re critical for balance and coordination. Without these sensations, you can experience a loss of balance, especially in the dark, and clumsiness with your hands.
Pain. Nerve damage from peripheral neuropathy can cause malfunctions in how and when nerves send pain signals, making pain signals more intense (hyperalgesia) or happen too easily (allodynia). It can even cause nerves to generate pain signals spontaneously. This is known as “neuropathic” pain, and it’s the most noticeable and disruptive symptom of peripheral neuropathy.

Headcanon: Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), a Cluster B personality disorder. It is categorised by a struggle to regulate one's emotions (extreme mood swings) as well as having unstable relationships. I've actually had this idea in my head for a while but have been on the edge about it; however I was given a very convincing argument to go ahead with BPD Blake (so Charlie I blame you /silly/pos).
[Cluster B disorders] are chronic conditions that cause unstable moods and emotions, impulsive behaviors and social dysfunction.
Signs and symptoms of BPD can range from manageable to very severe. They include any combination of the following:
Fear of abandonment: You might feel very strong emotions when you’re alone. This might lead you to track down loved ones or push people away to avoid rejection.
Unstable relationships: Healthy relationships may be difficult to manage because you may quickly change your view of someone from love to hate unpredictably.
Identity disturbances: You may have a negative view of yourself in your mind. You might suddenly change the way others see you by choosing a new friend group, hobby or opinion.
Impulsive behaviors: You may act without thinking about the consequences, like driving well over the speed limit, overspending or overconsuming addictive substances.
Suicidal ideation: You may openly talk about or threaten suicidal behavior to others or perform self-harm behaviors.
Mood changes: You might feel intense emotions like uncontrollable anger, fear, anxiety, hatred, sadness and love. These moods change often and quickly. They usually only last a few hours and rarely more than a few days.
Feeling empty: You may consistently feel sad, bored or unfulfilled. Feelings of worthlessness and self-loathing are common, too.
Intense anger: You may have a lot of trouble controlling your temper. This could lead to physical fights or frequent outbursts. You may feel shame or guilt after.
Stress-related dissociation: Extreme stress may cause disconnected thoughts, an out-of-body feeling and hallucinations.

Headcanon: Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD), a Cluster B personality disorder categorised by a need to be noticed, unstable emotions and distorted self image. Tbh I think this just fits Ritchie really well, it explains a lot of his behaviours as well as adding depth to them.
For people with histrionic personality disorder, their self-esteem depends on the approval of others and doesn’t come from a true feeling of self-worth. They have an overwhelming desire to be noticed and often behave dramatically or inappropriately to get attention.
People with histrionic personality disorder often don’t realize their behavior and way of thinking may be problematic.

Headcanon: Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is a type of tachycardia, which is when you have a heart beat of over 100 beats a minute. Tachycardia is a type of cardiac arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat). This originally developed after Ritchie's year of binge drinking. However it later morphs into specifically ventricular fibrillation after the events of the S Class Trials.
During atrial fibrillation, the heart's upper chambers, called the atria, beat chaotically and irregularly. They beat out of sync with the lower heart chambers, called the ventricles. AFib may cause a fast, pounding heartbeat, shortness of breath or light-headedness.
Episodes of atrial fibrillation may come and go, or they may be constant. AFib itself usually isn't life-threatening. But it's a serious condition that needs proper treatment to prevent stroke.
Symptoms of AFib may include:
A fast, fluttering or pounding heartbeat, called palpitations.
Chest pain.
Dizziness.
Fatigue.
Lightheadedness.

Headcanon: Intracerebral hemorrhagic strokes are when a blood vessel inside the brain ruptures, it puts pressure on the brain tissue from the inside. This is another result of the S Class Trials; Ritchie is left permanently disabled from this especially, and has little to no feeling or control over the left side of his body.
As your brain can’t store oxygen, it relies on a series of blood vessels to supply its oxygen and nutrients. When a brain bleed occurs, a blood vessel leaks blood or bursts. Blood collects or pools within your skull and brain. This causes pressure against your brain, which prevents oxygen and nutrients from reaching your brain tissues and cells.
Brain bleeds are common after falls or traumatic injuries. They’re also common in people with unmanaged high blood pressure.
A brain bleed is a life-threatening medical emergency. It only takes three to four minutes for your brain cells to die if they don’t receive enough oxygen. Treating a brain bleed quickly leads to the best outcome.

Headcanon: Chronic migraines. Migraines are intense and very painful headaches that cause a throbbing, pulsing pain on one side of the head.
There are four phases or stages of a migraine:

Headcanon: Hashimoto's Disease is an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid gland. It can cause lower than normal levels of thyroid hormone in your body (hypothyroidism).
Your thyroid’s main job is to control the speed of your metabolism. This is the process of how your body transforms the food you consume into energy. It’s common to mainly think of metabolism in terms of weight gain or weight loss. But this process affects every organ in your body, including your heart and brain.
In most cases of Hashimoto’s disease, your thyroid can’t produce enough thyroid hormone for your body. This slows down your metabolism and causes a range of symptoms.

Headcanon: ADHD, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, is a neurodevelopmental disorder. It affects your impulsiveness, energy levels and your attentive abilities.
ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) is a condition that affects how your brain works. Despite its name, ADHD doesn’t mean that you lack attention. It means that it’s harder for you to control your attention or direct it to certain tasks. ADHD causes symptoms like difficulty focusing, trouble sitting still and impulsive behaviors. But it also allows you to “get in the zone” and hyperfocus on things you really enjoy.
There are four types of ADHD that healthcare providers diagnose in children and adults:

Combined presentation. This is the most common type of ADHD, and it’s what most people associate with the condition. You have many inattentive symptoms and hyperactive-impulsive symptoms.
Unspecified presentation. This is when you have severe symptoms that interfere with daily life, but your symptoms don’t meet the official criteria for the types listed above. In this case, providers assign “unspecified ADHD” as the diagnosis.

Headcanon: Hyperopia, also known as far-sightedness, is an eye condition that causes vision to blur close up.
The shape of your eye determines whether you have some degree of hyperopia. Factors include the length of your eye from front to back (axial length) and the curvature of your cornea (the front “window” of your eye). Your eye shape affects how your eye receives and processes light to allow you to see.
You can’t control the shape of your eye, and hyperopia isn’t an eye disease. Healthcare providers consider it an eye focusing disorder because it affects how your eye focuses light.
You may not notice any problems with your vision. But if your eye muscles have to work harder to help you see, you may develop symptoms of hyperopia like:
Blurry vision, especially when looking at things that are close to your face.
Blurred vision/fatigue at night.
Difficulty reading.
Double vision when reading.
Dull pain in your eye.
Eye strain.
Squinting when reading.
