Woof didn’t see it quite as ‘doing nothing’, more being calm and taking his time when others would rush. In his eyes, of course, he did plenty. He arranged and attended be-ins, protested important issues, spread the message of love and socialised with his friends. But to the outside eye, this was often mistaken for being lazy or not doing anything at all. “Looking at you, no. I honestly don’t think I could get that frustrated at you. I’d never want to make you..’veg out’ or whatever. Just look at the world a little differently, look at us a little differently,” Woof smiled with a shrug. He knew the stigma that came with hippies and greatly enjoyed proving it wrong. Of course with the beads, the hair, the pot - some stereotypes did fit, but most people elected to ignore the tribe’s good will and kindness, wanting instead to turn them into some foreign concept that no one could truly understand. It was good, to know your limits, but it was more important not to be limited by them. Never turn down a challenge out of fear of the unknown was a rule that Woof held deeply. “Well good for you, man. You got out. Everyone thinks that they’re right, I mean - I think I’m right. But I’m also willing to accept the fact that I’m not, if things turn out that way, You can’t be afraid of change just because it might prove you wrong.” Woof’s eyes followed up to the moon again, and the sight instantly brought a smile to his lips. “Your moon sounds awesome!” he chuckled, patting Kurt’s arm, “You’re both very lucky. Some people spend their whole life looking for their moon, you’ve got to hold on to yours.” He himself had many moons, it was a big part of how he saw the idea of love, and how he applied it to so many people. Everyone was important to him, he was ‘hung-up’ on some people more than others, of course, Mick Jagger, one lovely guy in the tribe name Claude, but he did genuinely care for everyone. He loved everyone, and never truly understood people who were opposed to that idea. There was a difference between loving someone, and being in love with them, after all.
