All of he lights....I found myself on Oxford street late one night and then this happened outside debenehams.

And then there was nobody there….well almost, can you spot anyone?

This photograph reminds me of life in a weird way. I say this because I feel what makes life work is balance, this is one end of the spectrum near nothingness.

But at the other end we’d have a traffic jam which is just toomuchness (pretend it’s a word for now ), filling your own personal picture (life) with too much traffic (things that don’t need to be there) distracts you from the beauty of your image.

I can’t help but wonder what difference it would have made to have a car or a person in the middle of the image, how many questions it would have created, who they are, or where they’re going.

Maybe that’s why I like it, because this urban landscape is a reminder ow what can be when you remove distractions, and also that what you chose to fill your landscape with is just as important as what you choose to leave out.
