It was hard for me to pick just one line as my favorite but I picked this line because it reminded me of a verse in the bible 1 Peter 2:20 NASB “For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.” The idea that is being presented in both quotes really convicted me because it’s so easy to stoop down to someone’s level, to respond out of our frustration at injustice, but as Michelle Obama said “When they go low we go high.”
