I think we should go back.
There was some bad stuff happening in that place. A stone demon head with purple light coming out. A fountain of devil's blood. A captive succubus. And a WHOLE LOT of magic.
I know we were nearly dead and had no idea where our attacker was, but I think we should have stayed and figured out what was going on.
And now that we've left, I think we should go back. If we can.
Okay it turns out that there weren't really demons in the mine? Or maybe there were, but then there weren't? It wasn't... Like... An infestation.
There are these REALLY STRANGE one-way portals and there's one that leads OUT of the lines and into a stairway to another portal and into a room with LAVA AND Demons and then another portal that leads to some mad... Wizard's? Home? And there are devils? And a fountain of... Devil blood? That powers the portals?
Anyway we were talking to him and then Vizik attacked him and then he almost killed us all with a fireball and then he turned invisible and ran away and we made a deal with his henchman so we could leave.
I think maybe we should just block off that portion of the mines. Or maybe we should go back and figure out what he was doing with all that devil blood.
But like... We almost died.

I do NOT know what to think about this campaign. It seems a little "overly clever".

The lady in the ritual circle above the table sacrificed her own life force to make her abjuration more powerful to trap some great evil in the next room to make sure they didn't die but the cup of stars was causing interdimensional travel so they ended up going all over the multiverse forever and now they're dead but still protected by the ritual but the ritual is slowly failing so some of that evil is leaking out also there was a ghost and we have her cursed locket that takes over people's bodies if they wear it too long and also is a key to the room with the great evil in it but it doesn't open that door because the ritual is also sealing it but we can't disrupt the ritual because vizik and Tod think it's disrespectful to the friendly skeletons but maybe we should just let them rest damn this is so complicated screw it let's just leave we got the cup anyway and I think that's what we came for right?

There's some kind of ritual that's going on. Keeping these people alive, even after they're dead, if that makes sense.
