I know its more likely that these are from different episodes BUT my theory right now is that the fisherman who is in these photos on their wall is the guy Rick is texting. also I think the fisherman could be a sponsor for Rick, helping him try out new hobbies to get in touch with his zen and not go back to his previous edgy ways

would we get to see jealous, distrustful morty if this guy suddenly became a big influence in Rick’s life? but then morty ends up liking him?
