This is one of the most profound statements on leadership I’ve encountered in a long time, and it really landed a hit on me. It’s difficult to discuss without getting a little weird about it, but for a long time I’ve been of the mind that the privilege of having a large readership implies the duty of giving back in specific ways – I just never thought of it in terms of leadership as submission to duty.

The Key Principles of Identity

1. Identity is the most important power that determines our actions. We will act according to our views of who we truly are—whether these views are accurate or not.

2. Once we know who we are, we must learn to be ourselves. Trying to live in a way that’s inconsistent with our true nature will create a life of frustration, stress and disappointment. We must learn to embrace our deepest needs, desires, strengths, fears, values and beliefs in order to create harmony and tap into our tremendous potential.

3. Sometimes, people maintain the illusion that their behavior decides who they really are. Nothing could be further from the truth. We have all experienced moments of anxiety and defeat, and as a result have said or done things that don’t reflect who we are. This does not make these behaviors a part of our identity. Rather, they are momentary lapses or unique attempts to meet our needs in the moment.

This is the Impossible burger they are serving at Umami burger. Out of the 15ish years of being vegetarian -> vegan -> pescatarian, this is was the beefiest tasting veggie burger I’ve had. It didn’t “bleed” as advertised but still tasty & glad to try it 😋🍔 ( I might still like Gardien better 👀)

The world is being taken over by a handful of business powers who dominate the natural resources we need to live, while controlling the money we need to obtain these resources. The end result will be world monopoly based not on human life but financial and corporate power.

The real revolution is the revolution of consciousness and each one of us first needs to eliminate the divisionary, materialistic noise we have been conditioned to think is true; while discovering, amplifying, and aligning with the signal coming from our true empirical oneness. It is up to you.
