World Domination Enterprises - Breaking...

World Domination Enterprises Corporation refutes the allegations circling in the media in recent days concerning the existence of a classified dossier documenting WDEcorp operations.

In the interest of full disclosure. We intend to publish our copy of the summary contained in the dossier, and issue a further statement, tomorrow, July 3rd, 2020.

On a lighter note, we recently resumed full ownership of Dobson and his band, World Domination Enterprises, widely regarded as the most sensational live band to ever to perform in the history of the universe.

We will release their first single in thirty-one years tomorrow 3rd July, 2020 at 12.00pm noon BST:

Vinyl Shuffle 35,43 - World Domination Enterprises: Let's Play Domination (1988). Another band that doesn't get as much respect and recognition as they deserve. Keith Dobson's guitar sound is one of the most out of control, raucous sounds to ever be captured on tape. This album was released the year after Big Black split up, but it totally feels like the perfect British response to Albini and co. There's even some Beastie Boys style hip hop squeezed into the mix. Calling card signature tune 'Asbestos Lead Asbestos' (first recorded by Dobson's previous band The 012) kicks off side 2, and the whole thing is rounded off by an outrageous cover of 'Funkytown'. Noise rock, industrial, hip hop, disco, punk, rockabilly... this album has it all. Dobson even seems to be channeling Don Van Vliet on some of the tracks (esp. 'Ragamuffin Man') Original pressing on Caroline Records.
