   tentative is her approach , wide doe eyes latch upon the woman ( creature ? faerie. myths held their truths it seemed ) but her curiosity was often her demise. little lotte divulging in tales of goblins , or of dolls , of stories of the north & lands that ensnared her attention. wandering down paths , seeking out truths to quell her never ending inquisitive nature. rapidly , her gaze rises and falls ; uncertainty controlling her actions.

A    CRAW   IS   let    out    harshly into the summer’s air ; a greeting he held only for his mistress.   the   rigidness  of  eerie black SILKEN  feathers ruffles as he prepares for take off. avian wings  fluttering  past  his mistress’s  porcelain  skin ; a gently breeze KISSING her features as he nests on a friendly branch, wings tucking in self as raven awaits for the magic to, once again, course through skeleton. 

                the  raven  BECKONED  has  arrived,  flown  on  onyx  wings  with  beady  eyes  alight.   there  is  a  moment  of  silence  where  her  crystalline  gaze  spares  him  its  ICY  TOUCH,  fingers  curled  and  rounded.    (  INTO  A  HUMAN.  )    the  spell  simple  and  complete,  yet  without  utterance  as  she  walks  forward  amidst  the  dark  and  mossy  grove.    

   the  brooke  is  cool  to  her  wandering  thoughts,  the  stave  she’d  made  clicking  softly  against  bark  and  stone.   fifteen  years;  a  long  and  horrible  time  to  wait  for  exacting  revenge.   finally,  the  FAERIE  QUEEN  speaks,  tone  soft  and  low  to  only  his  ears.       ❛    you’re  not  about  to  complain  again,  are  you?    ❜
