We are a displaced family, living in a fragile tent with barely enough to survive. This morning, gunfire struck our shelter.

By a miracle, no one was physically harmed, but the emotional trauma is unbearable.

My children picked up the bullets from the ground... and asked me, “Mom, are we going to die too?”

I took these photos just minutes later, not to shock you, but to show you the heartbreaking reality we’re living.

Amal is a pregnant mother, who’s currently displaced in Gaza. Previously, she used to run a campaign to support her family’s basic needs until GFM shut it down. A single one-kilogram bag of flour costs about $200 usd in north Gaza. Maha needs to raise this URGENTLY because she and the children are starving. She has multiple other major expenses, about which we will publish a longer post soon, but this is the most pressing issue right now. Maha’s husband and family are gone, and she is alone in north Gaza, trying to keep herself and her kids alive. NOTHING, no help in DAYS. Derek NEEDs his insulin to live, he's been out nearly TWO DAYS If he goes too long without it he might end up in ER, sick or put in a very dangerous position.
