Gaza is not living… Gaza is surviving, day by day.
Bombing, fear, hunger, and the loss of everything have become our daily reality. No clean water. No enough food. No medicine. No safety. Children here do not dream of toys… they dream of a full meal and a night without fear.
My son is one of those children.
His small body can no longer endure this. He is suffering from malnutrition. His weight is dropping instead of increasing. His face is pale, his body is weak, and exhaustion never leaves his eyes. My heart breaks every time I look at him, knowing I cannot provide the nutrition he desperately needs to grow strong like other children.
In another part of the world, malnutrition is a treatable condition.
Here in Gaza, it is a daily battle between a fragile child and unbearable circumstances.
I am not asking for the impossible.
I am only asking for proper food for my child. I am asking for a chance for him to grow up with a healthy body — not one weakened by hunger and siege.
