(kimi antonelli x!russell fem reader)
Day 1 of the lemonade stand
Being George Russell’s little sister came with exactly one important rule : stay away from his teammates.
which honestly would’ve been easy… if his newest teammate wasn’t Kimi Antonelli.
at first it was harmless. late night paddock conversations, teasing texts, stolen hoodies and “accidentally” sitting next to each other every chance you got. but somewhere between secret glances in the mercedes garage and phone calls that lasted until 3am, harmless turned into something neither of you could ignore anymore.
the problem? george trusted kimi. like genuinely trusted him. and if there was one thing george loved more than protecting his sister, it was threatening anyone who looked at her for more than two seconds.
so now you and kimi are stuck sneaking around the paddock, hiding matching bracelets, deleting suspicious photos, and pretending your heart doesn’t stop every time george walks into a room while you’re standing a little too close together.
because apparently falling for your brother’s teammate was a terrible idea.
unfortunately for everyone involved, it was also the best one.
a/n: Guys I'm back, sorry I left you , its just that i went to see Spa and OMG incredible experince to see my fave driver win. extra info: comment if you want to be added to the taglist and ignore the race date's . fc: olivia rodrigo and pinterest girls

˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
The final laps felt endless.
You had stopped pretending to sit calmly on the pit wall nearly ten laps ago.
One hand clutched your headset.
The other rested over your mouth as you watched the timing screens change every few seconds.
LAP 54 OF 56.
"Kimi's tyres look good."
"He just needs to bring it home."
One of the engineers spoke into the radio while another kept his eyes glued to the telemetry.
You barely heard any of it.
All you could focus on was the black Mercedes leading the race.
"Come on..." you whispered to yourself.
Nobody heard you.
Or maybe they did.
No one said anything.
"Two laps remaining."
The garage somehow became even quieter.
George was running second.
Kimi still led.
It was looking more and more real.
Toto stood with his arms crossed, his expression unreadable.
Only the slight tapping of his fingers against his arm gave away that even he was nervous.
White flag.
One lap to go.
You couldn't breathe.
The radio crackled.
"Last lap, Kimi. Keep it clean."
Every sector felt like an eternity.
Sector one.
Green.
Sector two.
Green.
You found yourself smiling before you even realized it.
"He can do this..."
The final corner.
The grandstands erupted.
The Mercedes garage exploded.
"KIMI ANTONELLI WINS THE CHINESE GRAND PRIX!"
Cheers echoed through the pit lane.
Mechanics jumped into each other's arms.
Headsets flew into the air.
Someone actually screamed.
You laughed, your eyes immediately filling with tears.
"He did it..."
You didn't even notice you were crying until Carmen appeared beside you.
"I told you he would."
You nodded, laughing through the tears.
"I know."
Over the team radio, Kimi's voice finally came through.
"...We did it."
He sounded almost breathless.
"I can't believe it."
The garage applauded all over again.
Toto smiled.
A genuine, proud smile.
"Outstanding drive, Kimi."
"Absolutely outstanding."
As the cars rolled into parc fermé, you followed the rest of the Mercedes team toward the barriers.
Your heart was beating just as fast as it had during the race.
Kimi climbed out of the car.
For a second...
He simply stood there.
Helmet still on.
Hands resting on the halo.
Taking it all in.
Then he pulled off his helmet.
The smile on his face was impossible to miss.
George was the first person to reach him.
He wrapped Kimi in a quick hug before ruffling his hair.
"You did it!"
Kimi laughed.
"We did."
"First win!"
George looked genuinely happier than anyone.
"I'm proud of you."
"So proud."
You watched from a few steps away, your own smile growing.
George had no idea.
He was celebrating with his teammate.
You were celebrating with the person you loved.
Yet neither of you could show it.
Not here.
Not now.
One by one, the engineers hugged Kimi.
Mechanics patted him on the back.
Even Toto pulled him into a brief hug.
"You earned every bit of that."
"Thank you."
When Kimi looked up...
His eyes searched the crowd.
They found yours almost immediately.
Everything around you seemed to disappear.
The cheering.
The cameras.
The interviews waiting.
It all faded away.
You gave him a tiny thumbs up.
Then mouthed two simple words.
"I told you."
His smile somehow became even bigger.
He nodded once.
A silent,
"You did."
That was enough.
It had to be.
"Y/n!"
You quickly looked away.
George walked over, still wearing the biggest grin.
"Did you see that?"
You laughed.
"I think the entire world saw that."
"He actually won!"
"I know!"
George shook his head in disbelief.
"Our rookie."
"Our rookie won a Grand Prix."
"He was incredible."
You nodded.
"He really was."
George smiled proudly as he looked back toward Kimi, who was now surrounded by reporters.
"I'm happy for him."
"So am I."
You meant it more than George could ever imagine.
The podium ceremony was loud.
Champagne flew everywhere.
George stood on the second step.
Kimi on the top.
As the Italian anthem played, Kimi closed his eyes for a brief moment, taking everything in.
You stood below with the rest of Mercedes.
Applauding.
Smiling.
Trying very hard not to cry again.
He looked down for just a second.
Your eyes met.
You placed your hand over your heart.
He understood immediately.
His hand tightened around the winner's trophy.
Later that evening, after interviews, celebrations and endless congratulations, the Mercedes garage slowly emptied.
Kimi finally walked back inside, still carrying the winner's trophy.
The room erupted into applause once more.
George clapped the loudest.
"You'd better get used to carrying that around."
Kimi laughed.
"I'll try."
George walked over and nudged his shoulder.
"Drinks are on you tonight."
"They are?"
"You won."
"I suppose that's fair."
Everyone laughed.
You stayed near the back of the room, watching him soak in every second.
He caught your eye one last time.
No words.
No hugs.
No kiss.
Just a smile meant only for you.
It wasn't how either of you wanted to celebrate his first Formula One victory.
But seeing the quiet pride in his eyes...
Knowing that before he climbed into the car, he'd heard your voice telling him he belonged there...
Made the distance feel a little easier to bear.
The real celebration could wait.
For now, watching him stand there—Grand Prix winner, surrounded by his team and with George proudly calling him our rookie—was more than enough.
˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
The post-race celebrations had finally started to calm down.
The media had finished.
The engineers were beginning to pack away equipment.
Most of the drivers had already disappeared toward hospitality.
It was the perfect time.
Or so Carmen claimed.
"Okay," she whispered, peeking around the corner of the Mercedes garage.
"The coast is clear."
"You've said that three times today," you replied.
"And I've been right twice."
Kika nodded.
"I like those odds."
You crossed your arms.
"I don't know..."
Carmen grabbed your shoulders.
"You have approximately five minutes before George comes back."
"Maybe less," Kika added.
"So GO."
Before you could protest, the two of them practically pushed you toward the back of the garage.
Kimi was sitting on one of the equipment cases, still wearing the top half of his race suit tied around his waist.
He looked up the moment he heard your footsteps.
"There you are."
"There I am."
He smiled.
"I've been looking for you."
"I've been kidnapped by Carmen and Kika."
"...That sounds about right."
You laughed before standing in front of him.
"You were amazing today."
"You already told me."
"I'm telling you again."
"You don't get tired of complimenting me?"
"Not really."
His cheeks turned pink.
"I still can't believe I won."
"You should."
"I keep thinking someone's going to tell me it was a dream."
You reached over, gently fixing a strand of messy hair that had escaped after the podium celebrations.
"It wasn't."
He looked at you with that ridiculously soft expression that only ever appeared when the two of you were alone.
"You cried."
You looked offended.
"I did not."
"You absolutely did."
"There may have been... one tear."
"There were at least five."
"You counted?"
"I notice everything."
You rolled your eyes.
"Show off."
Outside the garage...
Operation Distract George had officially begun.
Carmen stood directly in front of the entrance with Kika beside her.
"Perfect."
Kika looked down the paddock.
"...Incoming."
George was walking toward them.
Unfortunately...
Alex Albon was walking next to him.
"Oh no."
"What?"
"The duo."
George smiled when he reached them.
"Have either of you seen my sister?"
Carmen answered far too quickly.
"No."
George blinked.
"I didn't even finish asking."
"You asked enough."
Alex looked between them.
"...Why are you two standing like security guards?"
"We're... not."
"You literally are."
Kika laughed nervously.
"We're just talking."
"In front of the only entrance?"
"..."
"..."
George narrowed his eyes.
"Move."
"No."
"Carmen."
"No."
"I need to go inside."
"Do you?"
"Yes."
"Think about it."
"I have."
"And?"
"I'm still going inside."
Inside...
Kimi gently reached for your hand.
"You know..."
"Hm?"
"I didn't get to celebrate properly."
"Oh?"
"There was a lot of champagne."
"There was."
"And interviews."
"Mhm."
"And George hugging me."
You laughed.
"I saw."
"So..."
He stepped a little closer.
"I think I'm owed one proper celebration."
Your smile grew.
"And what exactly does that involve?"
He leaned in just enough for your foreheads to touch.
"I was thinking..."
"A kiss?"
"I was hoping you'd say that."
You smiled before closing the small distance between you.
It was soft.
Unhurried.
The kind of kiss that made the noisy paddock disappear for just a few seconds.
Outside...
George sighed.
"I'm going in."
Carmen immediately stepped sideways.
"No."
George stopped.
"...Why are you acting weird?"
"We're always weird."
Alex nodded thoughtfully.
"That's actually true."
"Thank you!"
"But..."
Alex tilted his head.
"...you're weirder than usual."
Kika muttered under her breath.
"We're finished."
George crossed his arms.
"I'm serious."
Carmen tried one last time.
"George."
"What?"
"Have you ever considered..."
"...not going into the garage?"
"No."
"Just today?"
"No."
Alex suddenly frowned.
"...Hang on."
Everyone looked at him.
"...Why are we not allowed in?"
"We never said that."
"You kind of did."
Alex looked toward the slightly open garage door.
Then back at Carmen.
Then the garage.
Then Carmen again.
"Oh..."
His eyes widened.
"Oh."
Carmen pointed at him.
"Don't."
Alex grinned.
"I know that face."
"What face?"
"The 'someone's definitely hiding something' face."
George looked confused.
"What are you talking about?"
Alex shrugged.
"I don't know."
Then, with the confidence of a man about to create absolute chaos...
He pushed the garage door open.
George followed immediately.
"Oh for the love of—"
Carmen buried her face in her hands.
You and Kimi jumped apart so fast it was almost impressive.
Well...
You tried to.
The problem was...
Kimi's hand was still resting on your waist.
George stopped walking.
Alex stopped walking.
Silence.
Complete.
Utter.
Silence.
George looked at Kimi.
Then at you.
Then at Kimi's hand.
Then...
Very, very slowly...
At your faces.
"..."
"..."
"..."
Alex quietly whispered,
"Oh..."
George blinked.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
"No."
Nobody moved.
"No."
Still nothing.
"No."
Kimi awkwardly lifted his hand.
"...Hi?"
George looked genuinely offended.
"Hi?"
"That's what you've got?"
"I panicked."
"You panicked?!"
"I panicked."
George turned toward you.
"You."
You gave him a tiny smile.
"...Hi?"
"You too?!"
Alex had completely given up trying to help.
Instead, he leaned against a toolbox.
"This is unbelievable."
George pointed dramatically between the two of you.
"You!"
Then at Kimi.
"You!"
Then back at you.
"You are my sister!"
"...Correct."
"And YOU—"
He pointed at Kimi.
"—ARE MY TEAMMATE!"
"...Also correct."
George looked around the garage as if waiting for someone to explain the joke.
Nobody did.
Then something clicked.
His eyes slowly widened.
"The comments..."
Alex snorted.
George ignored him.
"The hoodie..."
Alex laughed louder.
"The bracelet..."
Carmen quietly nodded.
"The PHONE CALLS."
Kika covered her mouth.
"The shadow picture!"
George looked horrified.
"I COMMENTED ON THE SHADOW PICTURE!"
Alex doubled over laughing.
"Oh my God..."
George spun toward Alex.
"You knew?!"
Alex was laughing too hard to answer.
"You knew!"
Alex finally managed,
"I figured it out..."
"And you didn't tell me?!"
"I wanted to see how long it would take."
George looked personally betrayed.
"Carmen?"
She raised her hand.
"Guilty."
"Kika?"
"...Also guilty."
George slowly turned.
"Toto."
Everyone looked toward the back of the garage.
Toto had been standing there the entire time.
Coffee in hand.
Watching.
Smiling.
George pointed at him with the determination of a man who had finally solved a months-long mystery.
"You."
Toto took a calm sip of coffee.
"Yes?"
"You knew."
"For quite some time."
"And you said NOTHING?"
Toto shrugged.
"I was conducting... an observational study."
"On WHAT?"
"How long it would take you."
Alex wheezed.
George threw his hands into the air.
"EVERYONE KNEW EXCEPT ME?!"
A mechanic passing by answered without thinking.
".Pretty much."
The entire garage erupted into laughter.
George closed his eyes.
"I've been living with her."
"Yes."
"I drove him to the airport."
"Yes."
"I GAVE HIM DATING ADVICE!"
That was it.
Even Kimi couldn't hold it together anymore.
He laughed so hard he had to grab the nearest workbench.
George looked absolutely scandalized.
"I literally told you..."
He pointed at Kimi.
"...not to date someone's sister!"
Kimi was wiping tears from his eyes.
"I know."
"And you nodded!"
"I did."
"And you said you'd keep it in mind!"
"I meant to!"
George stared at him for a long moment.
Then let out the deepest sigh anyone in the Mercedes garage had ever heard.
"You know what?"
Everyone waited.
"I'm too tired for this."
He looked at you.
"You."
"...Yes?"
"We're having a conversation later."
"Fair."
He looked at Kimi.
"And you."
"...Yes?"
"You owe me dinner."
Kimi blinked.
"Dinner?"
"If you're dating my sister, you're at least buying me food."
Alex burst out laughing again.
"That's actually reasonable."
George nodded.
"I know."
Then he started walking toward the exit.
Halfway there, he stopped without turning around.
"Oh.."
Everyone froze.
"If either of you ever post another suspicious shadow picture..."
He pointed behind him.
"I'm unfollowing both of you."
The garage exploded into laughter once again, and even George couldn't stop the tiny smile that tugged at the corner of his mouth as he walked away, still muttering to himself.
"I can't believe I commented on that stupid photo.."

Helloooooo this is the extra part:
A week after George found out...
Life had become significantly more peaceful.
Well...
For you and Kimi.
For George?
Not so much.
He had discovered something horrifying.
Now that he knew Kimi was dating his little sister...
He physically could not stop thinking about it.
The three of you had somehow ended up walking through the paddock together.
It wasn't planned.
George had simply appeared.
Like an NPC with an unavoidable side quest.
"There you are."
You sighed.
"There he is."
"I heard that."
"You were supposed to."
Kimi, wisely, remained silent.
The walk lasted approximately...
Thirty-seven seconds.
Before George spoke.
"So."
You groaned.
"Oh no."
"What?"
"I know that 'so.'"
George ignored you.
"Kimi."
"...Yeah?"
"If you're going to date my sister..."
"I am."
George blinked.
"...Right."
"...Still getting used to saying that."
You patted his shoulder.
"We know."
He continued walking.
"Anyway."
"Dating advice."
You covered your face.
"Oh, for the love of God."
Kimi looked at you.
"Should I take notes?"
"No."
George pointed dramatically.
"Yes."
"Rule number one."
George raised one finger.
"Always listen."
Kimi nodded.
"I do."
George looked pleased.
"Excellent."
"She talks a lot."
You stopped walking.
"I do not."
George and Kimi looked at each other.
Neither of them said anything.
That somehow made it worse.
"I do not."
George finally spoke.
"You once told me the complete history of your favorite candle."
"It was interesting."
"It lasted forty-five minutes."
"It had context."
Kimi quietly added,
"...It did have context."
You looked at him.
"You are supposed to be on MY side."
"I am."
"You literally agreed with him."
"I'm agreeing carefully."
George continued.
"Rule number two."
He looked at Kimi very seriously.
"When she says she's 'fine.'"
Kimi nodded.
"Yeah?"
"She's not."
You gasped dramatically.
"George Russell!"
"What?"
"You are exposing me."
"I'm educating him."
"There is nothing to educate!"
George ignored you again.
"If she says, 'It's okay.'"
"It isn't."
"If she says, 'Do whatever you want.'"
"...Don't."
Kimi nodded as if this were the most valuable information he'd ever received.
"Got it."
You pointed at both of them.
"I hate this conversation."
George wasn't finished.
"Oh."
"And never ask where she wants to eat."
You frowned.
"...Excuse me?"
George looked at Kimi.
"She'll say she doesn't care."
"I don't always—"
"Then she'll reject every suggestion."
"I do not!"
Kimi looked between the two of you.
"...Last Tuesday."
You whipped your head toward him.
"You remember that?"
"You said no to Italian."
"I wasn't craving pasta."
"Then sushi."
"I wasn't feeling sushi."
"Burgers."
"Too greasy."
"Salads."
"I wanted something warm."
George folded his arms triumphantly.
"You ended up eating tacos."
You stared at both of them.
"...Why are you keeping records?"
George smiled proudly.
"You know..."
"I think I'm pretty good at this."
Kimi nodded.
"You've been very helpful."
You looked at your boyfriend in complete betrayal.
"Helpful?"
"He makes good points."
"Whose boyfriend are you?"
"Yours."
"Start acting like it."
"I am!"
"You've teamed up with my brother!"
George grinned.
"We're a united front."
"You've known him longer than you've dated me."
"That's not helping."
They reached the hospitality.
George grabbed a bottle of water.
"Oh."
"I almost forgot."
You groaned.
"There's more?"
"There is."
He turned toward Kimi.
"If she ever steals your hoodie..."
You interrupted.
"I borrowed one."
George raised an eyebrow.
"Borrowed?"
"Yes."
"Do you still have it?"
"..."
"..."
"...No."
George looked at Kimi.
"See?"
Kimi laughed.
"I wasn't getting that hoodie back."
"It smells like him!"
The words left your mouth before your brain could stop them.
Silence.
Complete silence.
You froze.
George slowly turned toward you.
"...It what?"
Your eyes widened.
"Oh no."
Kimi immediately looked at the ceiling.
Very interested in the ceiling.
"It..."
You desperately searched for an explanation.
"...Smells like..."
George waited.
"...Laundry detergent?"
George stared.
"...Laundry detergent."
"Yes."
Kimi bit the inside of his cheek so hard it almost hurt.
George looked at him.
"You."
Kimi immediately straightened up.
"Yes?"
"What detergent do you use?"
Kimi blinked.
"...I don't know."
George narrowed his eyes.
"...You don't know?"
"I just... put the little pod in."
Alex Albon chose that exact moment to walk in.
"What's going on?"
George pointed at Kimi.
"He doesn't know what detergent he uses."
Alex looked at Kimi.
"...Neither do I."
George looked horrified.
"You don't know either?"
Alex shrugged.
"I buy whatever's on sale."
George turned back to you.
"So..."
"You like..."
"...The smell of discounted detergent?"
You nodded immediately.
"Exactly."
Alex snorted.
"You know..."
"I don't think that's what she meant."
"Alex."
"What?"
"Don't."
"I'm just saying."
George looked between the three of you.
Then sighed.
"I've decided."
"Oh dear," you muttered.
"I'm never asking questions again."
Alex laughed.
"That's probably for the best."
George took one more sip of his water.
Then looked at Kimi.
"...Actually."
Kimi closed his eyes.
"There it is."
"One last piece of advice."
You buried your face in your hands.
"I'm leaving."
"You can't."
"I'd rather walk into traffic."
George ignored you.
"If she ever says.."
He looked dramatically at Kimi.
'I'm not cold.'
Kimi nodded.
"...Yeah?"
"She is."
You looked absolutely scandalized.
"I AM STANDING RIGHT HERE."
George smiled proudly.
"I know."
"And?"
"I'm helping him."
"You've spent twenty minutes exposing me!"
George shrugged.
"That's what big brothers are for."
You crossed your arms.
"I miss when you didn't know."
Kimi couldn't stop laughing anymore.
George looked confused.
"What?"
Kimi wiped a tear from the corner of his eye.
"...Nothing."
He slipped his hand into yours for just a second while George was busy talking to Alex about absolutely nothing.
You squeezed it once before letting go.
George turned back around.
"What are you two smiling about?"
You and Kimi answered at exactly the same time.
"Nothing."
George narrowed his eyes.
"I don't believe either of you."
Alex patted him on the shoulder.
"You never will."
George sighed dramatically.
"I liked life better when I thought they were just friends."
From the back of the room, Toto looked up from his coffee.
"I didn't."
The entire hospitality burst into laughter.
George pointed accusingly at Toto.
"You."
Toto smiled innocently.
"What?"
"I still blame you."
"I know."
"And I always will."
"A burden I'm willing to carry."
Alex laughed so hard he nearly spilled his coffee, while you leaned against Kimi's shoulder for half a second, trying to catch your breath between laughs.
Somehow...
This ridiculous little family had become your favorite part of race weekends.
Now that's the end

Kimi had been looking at the small velvet box in his backpack for the last ten minutes.
Not because it was expensive.
It wasn't.
Not because it was flashy.
It definitely wasn't.
It was just... perfect for you.
A delicate silver bracelet with a tiny star charm.
You had pointed it out weeks ago while the two of you wandered through a bookstore that happened to have a little gift shop attached.
"It's pretty."
That was all you had said before continuing to look at books.
Kimi had remembered.
Of course he had.
The problem was getting it to you.
George had somehow become attached to your side for most of the morning.
Every time Kimi thought he finally had a chance...
There was George.
Breakfast.
George.
Media.
George.
Walking through the paddock.
George.
"Mate."
Kimi looked over.
George was standing beside him.
"You alright?"
"Yeah."
"You've looked at your backpack like five times."
Kimi immediately zipped it shut.
"I forgot something."
George nodded.
"Happens."
Crisis avoided.
Barely.
Hours later, after media and meetings had finally ended, Kimi spotted you slipping out the back of the hospitality building.
He waited a minute before following.
Just in case.
You were standing by the paddock fence, watching the sun begin to set over the circuit.
"You escaped."
You turned around with a smile that immediately made his day better.
"Barely."
"I've been trying to find you all day."
"I know."
You laughed.
"My brother accidentally became my bodyguard."
Kimi smiled.
"I noticed."
For a moment, neither of you spoke.
It had only been one day.
But somehow it felt much longer.
"I got you something."
Your eyes widened.
"Kimi..."
"It's nothing huge."
He reached into his backpack before placing the small box in your hands.
"I remembered."
You looked at him before carefully opening it.
The tiny silver bracelet caught the evening light.
Your face softened instantly.
"You remembered..."
"You liked it."
"I mentioned it once."
"You smiled when you looked at it."
Your eyes met his.
"You remember everything."
"When it's about you."
You laughed quietly, blinking a little faster than usual.
"You make it really hard not to cry."
"Please don't."
"Why?"
"Because then I'll cry too."
You smiled as he gently took the bracelet from the box.
"Can I?"
You nodded.
His fingers were careful as he fastened it around your wrist.
"There."
You looked down at the little star charm.
"I love it."
Relief immediately spread across his face.
"Really?"
"I would've loved it even if it was a keychain."
"I almost got you a keychain."
That made you laugh.
"I know."
He tilted his head.
"How?"
"Because you're you."
Before he could answer, you stepped closer and wrapped your arms around him.
The hug caught him completely by surprise.
"You know," you mumbled against his shoulder.
"Hm?"
"This is my favorite birthday gift."
His heart melted.
"You haven't even opened George's."
"I don't have to."
He laughed softly.
"I love you."
You pulled back just enough to look at him.
"I love you too."
He leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead before resting his own against yours.
Five stolen minutes.
That was all they had.
But as you admired the little bracelet on your wrist and smiled up at him like he'd hung the stars himself...
Kimi decided five minutes with you would always be better than an entire day without you.

Kimi had decided two things.
First...
Race weekends were significantly less fun when you weren't there.
Second...
He was absolutely bored out of his mind.
Practice wasn't for another hour, the engineers were still looking through data, George had disappeared somewhere in the paddock, and Toto had threatened to "find him something productive to do" if he kept wandering around the garage.
So naturally...
He called you.
The phone rang twice before your face filled the screen.
Bright sunglasses rested on top of your head, your hair was slightly messy from the wind, and behind you, the ocean stretched endlessly under the afternoon sun.
"You escaped," Kimi smiled.
"So did you."
"I wish."
You laughed softly.
"How's race weekend?"
"Boring."
"You drive a Formula One car."
"Not right now."
"You are unbelievable."
He watched as you adjusted the phone, the sound of waves filling the brief silence between you.
"You went to the beach."
"I did."
"I'm jealous."
"You could've come."
"I had this tiny little commitment."
"Oh?"
"The whole Formula One thing."
"Right... that."
He smiled.
"I'd rather be there."
"You say that now."
"I mean it."
You raised an eyebrow.
"Even if I make you carry the beach umbrella?"
"I'd carry two."
"The cooler?"
"Yep."
"My bag?"
"Obviously."
"My flip-flops?"
"...that's pushing it."
You laughed, and Kimi couldn't help smiling with you.
"There she is."
"What?"
"Your laugh."
"You've become weirdly attached to it."
"I have."
A gust of wind blew a few strands of your hair across your face.
You frowned dramatically while trying to move them.
Kimi chuckled.
"Need help?"
"Oh, absolutely."
"I'll be there in... six hours?"
"Maybe seven with traffic."
"You're so helpful."
"I try."
You turned the camera for a moment, giving him a quick view of the sea, the waves gently rolling onto the shore.
"It looks nice."
"It is."
"I'm still jealous."
"You should be."
When the camera turned back to you, Kimi noticed something.
"You remembered."
"Hm?"
"The bracelet."
Without even thinking, your eyes dropped to your wrist.
The silver bracelet glistened in the sunlight.
"I told you I was going to wear it."
"I'm glad you are."
"I haven't taken it off."
His heart did that stupid little thing it always did around you.
"I noticed."
A comfortable silence settled between you.
Neither of you felt the need to fill it.
Just seeing each other was enough.
"So..." you said.
"What have you been doing?"
"I annoyed George."
"On purpose?"
"...maybe."
You laughed.
"What did you do?"
"I kept asking him if he wanted coffee."
"That's it?"
"He said no every time."
"And?"
"I asked him six times."
You covered your mouth to hide your laugh.
"You're impossible."
"I got bored."
"I can tell."
Before Kimi could answer, someone called his name from somewhere behind him.
He looked over his shoulder.
One of the engineers waved, signaling that the briefing was about to start.
He sighed dramatically.
"They need me."
"They usually do."
"I'd rather stay here."
"You have a race to win."
"I know."
"But I'd still rather stay."
You smiled, a little softer this time.
"Go."
"I don't want to."
"Kimi."
"I know."
He looked at you for another second.
"You'll text me later?"
"I always do."
"And send me pictures."
"I'll send you one if you stop asking George if he wants coffee."
"No deal."
You rolled your eyes fondly.
"You're lucky you're cute."
"I've been told."
"By who?"
"You."
"I've created a monster."
"You really have."
Another voice called his name.
Louder this time.
"Kimi!"
He sighed.
"I should go."
"You should."
He hesitated.
"Have fun at the beach."
"You have fun pretending not to miss me."
"I don't have to pretend."
Your smile was impossible to hide.
"I miss you too."
Neither of you said anything for a moment.
Then Kimi grinned.
"I'm hanging up before I say something that gets me in trouble."
"Smart decision."
"I have those occasionally."
"I'll believe it when I see it."
He laughed.
"Bye, pretty girl."
"Bye, race boy."
The call ended.
Kimi slipped his phone into his pocket, still smiling as he walked back toward the Mercedes garage.
An engineer noticed immediately.
"Good mood?"
Kimi only shrugged.
"Something like that."
Across the garage, Toto looked up from his laptop, spotted the smile on Kimi's face, and simply shook his head with an amused grin.
He didn't need to ask who had been on the other end of the call.
He already knew.

time skip to a race weekend
Coming back from the beach had been a mistake.
Not because you didn't have fun.
It had been one of your favorite days in a long time.
The mistake was returning to a Formula One paddock where your secret boyfriend, your older brother, and Toto Wolff all existed in the same building.
Somehow...
That combination never ended well.
The Mercedes hospitality was surprisingly quiet when you, Carmen and Kika walked in, still laughing over something that had happened at the beach.
"I still can't believe you buried my sandals," Carmen said, trying not to laugh.
"You left them unattended."
"For thirty seconds!"
"That's all we needed."
Kika grinned proudly.
"Teamwork."
You shook your head.
"I'm never trusting either of you again."
"You say that every time."
"Because every time you two prove me right."
The three of you walked further inside.
Engineers moved between rooms carrying laptops while members of the PR team hurried around preparing for the afternoon.
It felt like every other race weekend.
Normal.
Safe.
At least... for now.
"Kika!"
You all turned around.
Lily was waving from one of the tables.
"There you are!"
She walked over, immediately pulling Carmen into a hug before looking at you.
"Did you survive the beach?"
"Barely."
"She almost got taken away by the waves," Carmen said dramatically.
"That happened once."
"You screamed."
"The water was cold!"
The four of you laughed.
None of you noticed Toto walking into the hospitality behind you.
Coffee in hand, of course.
"Beach day?"
You turned around.
Toto smiled politely.
"It looked fun."
"It was," you answered.
"We definitely needed it."
"I can imagine."
He nodded before looking between the four of you.
"I'm glad all of you got some time to relax."
"So are we," Carmen smiled.
For a few seconds, the conversation stayed completely normal.
Until...
Toto looked directly at you.
"So..."
Uh oh.
You knew that tone.
"So?" you asked cautiously.
"Did Kimi survive without you?"
...
...
...
Silence.
Complete silence.
Even the coffee machine seemed quieter.
Your smile disappeared.
Kika blinked.
Lily frowned.
Carmen looked between you and Toto.
"...what?"
Your heart dropped into your stomach.
Toto's smile slowly disappeared too.
He blinked.
Once.
Twice.
"Oh."
He had realized.
You closed your eyes.
Please.
Please tell me he wasn't about to make this worse.
"I'm sorry," Toto said slowly.
"I thought..."
He looked at you.
Then at the girls.
Then back at you.
"...they knew."
"They knew what?" Carmen asked.
Nobody answered.
Kika slowly turned toward you.
"Y/n..."
You stared at Toto.
Toto stared back.
For the first time since he'd found out about your relationship...
He actually looked nervous.
"...Oops."
You wanted to cry.
"What," Carmen repeated.
"Does."
"That."
"Mean."
You laughed.
Not because anything was funny.
Because your brain had completely stopped functioning.
"It means..."
You started.
Nothing came out.
Lily crossed her arms.
"It means what?"
Toto quietly took another sip of coffee.
A man accepting his fate.
"Y/n."
Carmen's voice had become dangerously calm.
"Were you going to tell us something?"
You looked around the room desperately.
There had to be an emergency.
A fire alarm.
An earthquake.
Anything.
Instead...
You made eye contact with Kimi.
Who had just walked into the hospitality.
Perfect timing.
He smiled when he saw you.
Then noticed everyone staring.
Then noticed Toto.
Then noticed your expression.
His smile disappeared instantly.
He walked over carefully.
"Everything okay?"
Nobody answered.
Carmen looked at him.
Then at you.
Then back at him.
Slowly...
Very slowly...
Her eyes widened.
"No..."
Kika gasped.
"Oh my God."
Lily covered her mouth.
"No way."
Kimi looked at Toto.
"What happened?"
Toto pointed at himself.
"I may have..."
"You did."
"...accidentally..."
"You absolutely did."
"...said something."
Kimi closed his eyes.
"Toto."
"I'm aware."
"Toto."
"I know."
"You told them?"
"I thought they already knew."
"They did not."
"I know that now."
Carmen looked between the two of you.
Then suddenly...
Everything clicked.
The hoodie.
The bracelet.
The comments.
The birthday.
The constant smiling.
The suspicious FaceTime excuses.
"KIMI?!"
Half the hospitality looked over.
You immediately covered your face.
"Carmen!"
"What?!"
"You've been dating KIMI?!"
"Please lower your voice."
She lowered it.
Very slightly.
"You've been dating Kimi?"
"...yes."
"For how long?"
You looked at Kimi.
Kimi looked at you.
"A few months."
Kika's jaw literally dropped.
"A FEW MONTHS?"
"Kika..."
"A FEW MONTHS?!"
Lily pointed at you.
"I ASKED YOU IF THERE WAS SOMEONE."
"I know."
"You LIED."
"I technically avoided the question."
"THAT'S STILL LYING."
Carmen suddenly pointed at Kimi.
"I knew something was weird."
"You did?"
"The comments!"
"The comments?"
"You comment on EVERYTHING she posts."
Kimi looked genuinely confused.
"I thought I was being subtle."
All three girls stared at him.
"No."
"Oh."
"You comment within two minutes."
"I have notifications."
"We know."
"...Oh."
Kika looked at you.
"The bracelet."
You slowly nodded.
"He gave it to you?"
"Yes."
"Oh my God."
"The hoodie?"
You looked at Kimi.
"...his."
"The beach pictures?"
"Carmen took them."
Toto quietly raised his hand.
"I did know that one."
Everyone looked at him.
He slowly lowered his hand again.
"Sorry."
Carmen suddenly started laughing.
Really laughing.
"You know what's actually hilarious?"
"What?"
She looked at Kimi.
"George."
Kimi groaned immediately.
"Oh no."
"He has absolutely no idea!"
"He really doesn't."
"He thinks you're too sensible to date his sister!"
Kika laughed so hard she nearly had to sit down.
"No!"
"He literally defended Kimi!"
Lily looked completely horrified.
"Wait..."
"He DEFENDED HIM?"
You nodded.
"He said Kimi would never date his teammate's sister."
The girls burst into laughter again.
Even Toto couldn't hide his smile.
"I admit..."
He said.
"...that was one of my favorite conversations."
"You enjoyed that?"
Kimi asked.
"Very much."
Finally, Carmen walked over to you.
"So..."
You looked up nervously.
"You love him?"
You smiled without even thinking.
"Yeah."
She looked at Kimi.
"You better not hurt her."
"I won't."
"I'm serious."
"So am I."
For a second...
The room was quiet.
Then Kika clapped her hands together.
"Okay!"
Everyone looked at her.
"When are we helping?"
"...Helping?"
She looked offended.
"Keeping this from George."
Lily nodded immediately.
"Oh, absolutely."
Carmen grinned.
"We're taking this secret to the grave."
You blinked.
"You're... not mad?"
Carmen wrapped an arm around your shoulders.
"We're offended you didn't tell us."
Kika nodded.
"Very offended."
Lily smiled.
"But honestly..."
She looked between you and Kimi.
"...you two are disgustingly cute."
Kimi smiled.
You rolled your eyes.
"I knew you'd say that."
"And we're right."
Before anyone could answer, Carmen pointed dramatically at Toto.
"You."
Toto blinked.
"Me?"
"If George finds out because of you..."
Toto immediately raised both hands.
"I've learned my lesson."
"You have not."
"...Probably not."
The girls laughed.
Toto sighed dramatically.
"I suppose I should stop accidentally revealing secrets."
"You think?" you asked.
He smiled.
"In my defense..."
Everyone stared at him.
"...I really thought they knew."
"You are never beating the allegations," Kimi muttered.
"The allegations?"
"That you enjoy garage drama."
Toto smiled into his coffee.
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
Nobody believed him.
Not for a second.

If there was one thing Kimi had learned over the past few months, it was this:
George Russell loved giving advice.
Whether you asked for it or not.
Unfortunately for Kimi...
Today's topic happened to be dating.
The two Mercedes drivers had just finished a simulator session and were walking back toward the garage, helmets tucked under their arms.
George stretched his shoulders before glancing over at Kimi.
"So..."
Kimi already knew that tone.
"So?"
"I saw your story."
"...Okay?"
"The shadow one."
"Oh."
George nodded thoughtfully.
"You seeing someone?"
Kimi nearly walked into a toolbox.
"What?"
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
Kimi laughed nervously.
"I... don't know what you're talking about."
George gave him a knowing smile.
"Come on, mate."
"You can tell me."
Kimi stared straight ahead.
"I think you're mistaken."
"Mhm."
George wasn't convinced for a second.
They walked in silence for another moment before George spoke again.
"If there is someone..."
Kimi sighed internally.
"...yeah?"
"Treat her right."
Kimi's expression softened.
"I will."
George smiled.
"Good."
They stopped near the engineering room, where the rest of the team was still setting up for the afternoon.
George leaned against the counter.
"You know..."
"I've never actually asked."
"Asked what?"
"What your type is."
Kimi blinked.
"My type?"
"Yeah."
Kimi tried to think of an answer that didn't describe you exactly.
"I don't know."
George frowned.
"You have to know something."
"I guess..."
He smiled to himself.
"Someone kind."
George nodded approvingly.
"Good start."
"Funny."
"Mhm."
"Smart."
"Reasonable."
"And..."
Kimi hesitated.
"Someone who makes me feel at home."
George smiled.
"That's a good one."
"It is?"
"Yeah."
He shrugged.
"Relationships should feel easy."
Kimi couldn't help thinking about you.
How every stolen five minutes somehow made the rest of his day better.
"You're right."
"I usually am."
George folded his arms.
"And one more thing."
Kimi braced himself.
"If you ever date someone's sister..."
Kimi's heartbeat immediately doubled.
"...don't."
"..."
"..."
"It's not worth the stress."
Kimi had to bite the inside of his cheek to stop himself from laughing.
George continued completely seriously.
"You'll have the brother trying to kill you."
"I can imagine."
"I know I would."
Kimi nodded slowly.
"I'll... keep that in mind."
"You should."
George patted him on the shoulder.
"Find someone with no protective siblings."
"That sounds safer."
"Much safer."
At that exact moment, you walked into the garage carrying two coffees.
"George."
"There you are."
"I brought your coffee."
"The best sister ever."
George took the cup before noticing the second one.
"Who's that for?"
Your eyes met Kimi's for the briefest second.
"The marketing team."
George nodded without another thought.
"Makes sense."
"Yep."
He took another sip before looking back at Kimi.
"See?"
Kimi tilted his head.
"See what?"
"My sister's nice."
Kimi smiled.
"She is."
George grinned proudly.
"Exactly."
He walked away toward the engineers, blissfully unaware.
The second he was out of earshot, you casually changed direction and handed the second coffee to Kimi.
"I heard the whole conversation."
Kimi accepted it with a laugh.
"I'm sorry."
"He told you not to date someone's sister, didn't he?"
"He gave me a full speech."
You covered your mouth to hide your smile.
"And you survived?"
"Barely."
You shook your head, amused.
"My poor boyfriend."
He smiled at the word.
"Your brother gives surprisingly good advice."
"He does."
"...It's just unfortunate that I'm breaking all of it."
You laughed softly before squeezing his hand for just a second—hidden by the garage cabinets.
"Good thing you're worth it."
Kimi looked down at your intertwined fingers before back at you.
"I was hoping you'd say that."
Then, just as quickly as you'd stolen the moment, you let go and walked toward the hospitality.
A few seconds later, George looked back.
"Kimi!"
He turned.
"Yeah?"
"You coming?"
Kimi smiled to himself.
"Yeah."

The garage buzzed with engineers making last-minute adjustments, mechanics hurried from one side to the other, and somewhere in the distance, the unmistakable sound of Formula One engines echoed through the circuit.
It was organized chaos.
The one place that wasn't chaotic, however, was Kimi's driver's room.
At least for a few minutes.
A soft knock came from the door.
Kimi looked up from where he was adjusting his race gloves.
"Come in."
The door opened just enough for you to peek your head inside.
"Am I interrupting?"
His face immediately softened.
"Never."
You smiled before slipping inside and quietly closing the door behind you.
"I only have a minute."
"A minute is enough."
You walked over until you were standing in front of him.
Already dressed in his race suit, he somehow still looked calm, even if you knew better.
"You nervous?"
He let out a small laugh.
"A little."
"A little?"
"Okay..."
He rubbed the back of his neck.
"More than a little."
"I knew it."
"You make it sound like it's a bad thing."
"It's not."
You reached for his hands, gently intertwining your fingers with his.
"It means you care."
He looked down at your joined hands before smiling.
"I guess."
For a moment, neither of you spoke.
The sounds from outside disappeared.
It was just the two of you.
You gave his hands a gentle squeeze.
"Hey."
"Hm?"
"You're going to do amazing today."
He smiled.
"You have to say that."
"I don't."
"You kind of do."
You shook your head.
"No, I don't."
He looked at you curiously.
"I've seen how hard you work."
"You spend more time at the factory than anyone."
"You watch every bit of onboard footage."
"You ask a million questions."
"And somehow..."
You smiled.
"...you still think you're not ready."
Kimi looked down.
"I just don't want to let anyone down."
"You won't."
"What if I do?"
"You won't."
"But—"
You stepped a little closer.
"Kimi."
He met your eyes.
"You belong here."
The words settled over him.
"You've earned every lap."
"Every race."
"Every opportunity."
"So today..."
You gently straightened the collar of his race suit.
"...don't drive trying to prove people wrong."
His eyes never left yours.
"Drive because you know you deserve to be here."
A quiet smile spread across his face.
"You always know what to say."
"I try."
"No..."
He shook his head softly.
"You always make everything feel easier."
Your heart melted.
"I could say the same about you."
He chuckled.
"I don't think that's true."
"It is."
You reached up, brushing an imaginary piece of lint off his shoulder.
"I know that no matter what happens out there..."
"...I'll still be proud of you."
His smile turned into something softer.
Something only you got to see.
"I don't think I've thanked you enough."
"For what?"
"For always believing in me."
You smiled.
"You never have to thank me for that."
The room fell quiet again.
You glanced toward the door.
"I should probably let you go."
"You probably should."
Neither of you moved.
Instead, Kimi gently cupped your cheek.
"You'll be watching?"
"Every lap."
"You'll wave if I see you?"
"I'll probably be the loudest person in the garage."
He laughed quietly.
"I'll look for you."
"You better."
He leaned down, giving you plenty of time to pull away if you wanted.
You didn't.
Your lips met in a soft, lingering kiss.
Nothing rushed.
Nothing dramatic.
Just a quiet reminder before the chaos of race day began.
When you finally pulled back, you rested your forehead against his.
"Good luck."
"I love you."
You smiled.
"I love you too."
A knock on the door made you both jump.
"Kimi?" one of the engineers called from outside.
"Five minutes."
Kimi cleared his throat.
"Coming."
You couldn't help but giggle.
"I should definitely go."
"Probably."
You opened the door, then looked back one last time.
"Go show them what you can do."
He smiled, confidence replacing the nerves that had been there only minutes before.
"I will."
With one last smile, you slipped back into the busy paddock.
As the door closed behind you, Kimi glanced at his reflection in the mirror.
He was still nervous.
But now...
He couldn't wait to get in the car.
I ran out of space to write but the third part is coming today I promise !!

Paddock Politics -ka12
( kimi antonelli x!russel fem reader)
Being George Russell’s little sister came with exactly one important rule : stay away from his teammates.
which honestly would’ve been easy… if his newest teammate wasn’t Kimi Antonelli.
at first it was harmless. late night paddock conversations, teasing texts, stolen hoodies and “accidentally” sitting next to each other every chance you got. but somewhere between secret glances in the mercedes garage and phone calls that lasted until 3am, harmless turned into something neither of you could ignore anymore.
the problem? george trusted kimi. like genuinely trusted him. and if there was one thing george loved more than protecting his sister, it was threatening anyone who looked at her for more than two seconds.
so now you and kimi are stuck sneaking around the paddock, hiding matching bracelets, deleting suspicious photos, and pretending your heart doesn’t stop every time george walks into a room while you’re standing a little too close together.
because apparently falling for your brother’s teammate was a terrible idea.
unfortunately for everyone involved, it was also the best one.
a/n: heyyy, new story. I hope you like it and don't forget to comment. and OMG I saw todays sprint and my soul left my body , mercedes really did say were bringing back 2016. extra info: comment if you want to be added to the taglist and ignore the race date's . fc: olivia rodrigo and pinterest girls

The paddock was quiet that early in the morning.
Not empty, never truly empty, but quiet enough that the distant sound of tools clinking in the garages echoed through the air. The sky was still painted in soft shades of blue and orange, the sun barely beginning to rise over the track.
Which was exactly why you liked arriving early.
Less people. Less questions. Less chances of getting caught standing too close to Kimi Antonelli.
You adjusted the Mercedes pass hanging from your neck as you walked through the paddock, coffee in one hand and your tote bag slipping down your shoulder. The chilly morning air made you pull the sleeves of your hoodie over your hands.
Your phone buzzed.
kimi 🤍 where are you
You smiled instantly.
you almost there
Three dots appeared immediately.
kimi 🤍 hurry up
A soft laugh escaped you.
Needy.
You finally reached the Mercedes hospitality entrance, glancing around carefully before slipping inside. Most of the staff were still setting things up for the day, too busy to pay attention to you.
Perfect.
You quietly made your way toward one of the back hallways when suddenly—
A hand grabbed your wrist gently, pulling you into one of the smaller side rooms.
You barely had time to gasp before the door clicked shut behind you.
“Kimi—”
He was already laughing softly, one hand still around your wrist while the other pressed against the door behind him.
“You took forever,” he complained dramatically.
You stared at him for a second.
His curls were still messy from sleep, his white Mercedes team shirt slightly wrinkled like he had thrown it on in a rush, and he looked unfairly pretty for someone who’d probably been awake for less than an hour.
“You texted me like three minutes ago.”
“Felt longer.”
You rolled your eyes, but your smile betrayed you immediately.
Kimi noticed, of course he did.
“You’re smiling.”
“No I’m not.”
“You literally are.”
“I’m not.”
“You like me.”
You snorted. “You’re unbearable this early in the morning.”
“But cute?”
You stepped closer, fixing the crooked collar of his shirt just to avoid looking directly at him. “Debatable.”
“Hm.” His hands moved to your waist casually, naturally, like they belonged there. “You still came early to see me though.”
Heat rushed to your face instantly.
The worst part was that he looked so smug about it too.
“You’re annoying.”
“And you’re blushing.”
“I hate you.”
Kimi grinned. “No you don’t.”
Your heart did that stupid thing again.
The thing it always did around him.
You hated how easy it had become with him. How natural. Somewhere between late-night texts and secret moments stolen between race weekends, being around Kimi had stopped feeling dangerous and started feeling necessary.
Which honestly made it worse.
Because now you actually cared.
A lot.
His thumbs rubbed softly against your waist as he looked down at you, expression softer now.
“You’re tired,” he noticed quietly.
You sighed dramatically. “Your race schedules are ruining my sleep.”
“My race schedules?”
“Yes. Do you know how exhausting it is sneaking around a Formula One paddock?”
He laughed softly, forehead falling against yours for a second.
“Sorry.”
“You should be.”
“I can make it up to you.”
“Oh really?”
“Mhm.”
“How?”
Instead of answering, he leaned down slightly and kissed you.
Soft.
Sleepy.
Warm.
The kind of kiss that felt dangerously domestic.
Your hands instinctively grabbed the front of his shirt as he smiled against your lips, clearly pleased with himself.
“That’s your solution to everything,” you mumbled.
“And it works every time.”
Unfortunately, he was right.
You hated that too.
A loud noise outside the hallway made both of you freeze instantly.
Kimi pulled away first, eyes widening slightly.
You stared at each other for half a second before immediately stepping apart like guilty teenagers.
Footsteps passed outside the room.
Voices.
Team members.
Then silence again.
You exhaled slowly.
“That almost gave me a heart attack.”
Kimi laughed quietly, running a hand through his curls. “You’re dramatic.”
“You say that now until we actually get caught.”
“We won’t.”
“You sound very confident for someone who almost had a panic attack five seconds ago.”
“I did not panic.”
“You looked terrified.”
“I looked cautious.”
“You looked like you saw death.”
He pointed at you accusingly. “You’re making fun of me.”
“Maybe a little.”
Kimi narrowed his eyes before grabbing your wrist again and pulling you back toward him.
“Kimi—”
“You’re mean to me.”
“You survive.”
“Barely.”
You laughed quietly as he wrapped his arms around you again, chin resting on top of your head this time.
The room fell quiet for a moment.
Comfortable quiet.
The kind that only existed when two people knew each other too well.
Outside, the paddock was slowly waking up. You could hear distant conversations now, doors opening and closing, the beginning of another chaotic race day.
But inside the small room, it still felt calm.
Hidden.
Safe.
Kimi looked down at you after a moment, softer now.
“You know,” he murmured, “we could just tell people eventually.”
Your stomach flipped nervously.
“Eventually” sounded terrifying.
Not because you were ashamed of him—never that.
But because once people knew, everything would change.
The teasing.
The headlines.
The questions.
The constant attention.
And honestly? You liked this part.
The secret moments.
The stolen mornings.
The way he smiled at you like you were something precious only he knew about.
You looked up at him carefully. “And ruin your reputation?”
“My reputation is already terrible.”
“That’s true.”
“Wow.”
You grinned.
Kimi shook his head fondly before leaning down again, pressing another kiss to your forehead this time.
Then your phone buzzed loudly between you.
Both of you jumped.
You looked down immediately.
carmen 💛
are you already at the paddock???
You froze.
Kimi peeked over your shoulder. “Answer before she gets suspicious.”
“She’s already suspicious.”
“Fair point.”
You quickly typed back.
you yeah why
Almost immediately—
carmen 💛
knew it. come get breakfast with me later
Relief flooded through you.
Safe.
For now.
You looked back up at Kimi only to find him already staring at you with that stupid soft smile again.
“What?”
“Nothing.”
“You’re looking at me weird.”
“I just like you.”
Your entire face warmed instantly.
“You can’t just say things like that randomly.”
“Why not?”
“Because then I forget how to think.”
His grin widened immediately. “Good to know.”
“You’re impossible.”
“And yet,” he said quietly, pulling you closer one more time, “you keep showing up early for me.”
And honestly?
You probably always would.

Brunch had become a tradition at this point.
Maybe because all the traveling made everyone appreciate a proper meal. Maybe because the paddock was exhausting.
Or maybe because sneaking around with Kimi was somehow a full-time job.
Either way, you were starving.
The restaurant Carmen had picked was tucked away in a quiet corner of the city, all white furniture, plants hanging from the ceiling, and the kind of menu where every drink came with a flower on top.
The three of you sat outside under the warm morning sun.
Carmen was already halfway through her iced latte.
Kika was stealing fruit from everyone's plates.
And you were contemplating ordering a second breakfast.
"You know," Kika said between bites of waffle, "for someone who doesn't actually work in Formula One, you're somehow more exhausted than the drivers."
You pointed your fork at her.
"Thank you for noticing."
"No, seriously," Carmen laughed. "Every race weekend you look like you've survived a war."
"Because I have."
The two girls laughed.
You took a sip of your coffee.
If only they knew.
The lack of sleep.
The secret phone calls.
The constant sneaking around.
The mini heart attacks every time someone walked into a room unexpectedly.
Being secretly in love was exhausting.
Especially when the person happened to be a Formula One driver.
"So," Carmen said, leaning forward.
Immediately dangerous.
You knew that tone.
"Oh no."
"Oh yes."
Kika grinned.
"Oh this is good."
You already hated where this was going.
Carmen rested her chin on her hand.
"We need to discuss your love life."
You nearly inhaled your coffee.
Not suspiciously.
Totally normally.
You coughed.
A lot.
Kika stared at you.
"Are you okay?"
"Perfect."
"You sound like you're dying."
"Seasonal allergies."
"We're in the middle of summer."
"Special allergies."
The girls exchanged a look.
You looked away immediately.
Danger.
Danger.
Danger.
"So..." Carmen continued.
You wanted to disappear.
"Is there anyone?"
"No."
Too fast.
Way too fast.
Both girls noticed.
"Oh my God."
"There is someone."
"There isn't."
"There absolutely is."
You immediately grabbed a piece of toast.
A defense mechanism.
Kika pointed at you.
"Look at her."
"I'm literally eating breakfast."
"She's nervous."
"I am not."
"You are."
"No."
"Y/n."
"No."
"Y/n."
"No."
The interrogation continued for approximately thirty seconds before Carmen laughed.
"Fine."
You relaxed.
Then—
"What does he look like?"
You almost dropped your fork.
"HE?"
Kika smirked.
"Interesting reaction."
Shit.
You quickly recovered.
"I meant hypothetically."
"Mhm."
"Very convincing."
You wanted the earth to open and swallow you whole.
Meanwhile both girls looked entirely too entertained.
The worst part?
You couldn't even tell them.
Not because you didn't trust them.
You trusted them completely.
But the second Carmen knew something, George would know within a week.
Not intentionally.
Just through some butterfly effect of conversations.
And then you'd be finished.
"So mysterious," Carmen sighed dramatically.
"Maybe she's secretly dating an actor."
Kika gasped.
"A football player."
"Royalty."
"A billionaire."
"A prince."
You laughed.
"You guys watch too many movies."
"Then tell us."
"No."
"Tell us."
"No."
"Tell us."
"No."
The table erupted into laughter.
A waiter dropped off another round of drinks.
The topic thankfully shifted.
Soon they were discussing upcoming races.
Travel plans.
Hotels.
The endless group chat that somehow managed to have fifty different vacation ideas and zero actual vacations.
"We should go to Greece."
"We said that last year."
"We should actually do it."
"We won't."
"We could."
"We won't."
You smiled while listening to them argue.
Honestly, moments like this were your favorite.
No cameras.
No headlines.
No race weekend chaos.
Just friends.
Eventually Carmen looked over at you.
"You've been quiet."
You shrugged.
"Just listening."
"Thinking about mystery man?"
Kika asked immediately.
You groaned.
"Oh my God."
The girls burst into laughter.
Your phone buzzed.
You glanced down.
A message.
kimi 🤍
how's brunch
You stared.
Then immediately locked your screen.
Too late.
Way too late.
"WHO TEXTED YOU?"
Nobody.
"Y/N."
"Nobody."
"SHOW US."
"No."
"SHOW US."
You clutched your phone dramatically to your chest.
Both girls immediately started laughing.
"That is the reaction of someone hiding something."
"There is definitely someone."
"There isn't."
"There definitely is."
You smiled despite yourself.
Across the table, Carmen narrowed her eyes.
Not suspicious.
Not yet.
Just curious.
And thankfully for you, curiosity was a lot easier to survive than the truth.

incoming call : kimi 🤍
you : hello?
kimi : finally.
you : i've been gone for like twenty minutes.
kimi : twenty-three.
you : you've been counting?
kimi : maybe.
you laughed, stepping around a group of tourists while continuing down the street.
you : that's actually concerning.
kimi : where are you?
you : walking around.
kimi : that's not a location.
you : somewhere in the city.
kimi : wow. very specific.
you : thank you.
kimi : are you alone?
you : yes, dad.
kimi : i'm serious.
you : yes, kimi.
kimi : okay.
you smiled, hearing him shuffle around on the other end of the phone.
you : what are you doing?
kimi : laying on my hotel bed.
you : exciting.
kimi : i'm bored.
you : tragic.
kimi : i know.
A few seconds of comfortable silence passed.
The kind that only happened when you talked every day.
you : did you call me because you were bored?
kimi : maybe.
you : unbelievable.
kimi : i also wanted to hear your voice.
You nearly walked into a lamp post.
you : ...
kimi : ...
you : that was smooth.
kimi : thank you.
you : don't get used to compliments.
kimi : too late.
You rolled your eyes despite smiling.
The city around you buzzed with life. Cars passing. People talking. Music spilling from nearby cafés.
Meanwhile Kimi sounded completely content just staying on the phone.
kimi : what are you looking at?
you : a bookstore.
kimi : are you going in?
you : probably.
kimi : you're going to buy another book.
you : maybe.
kimi : you still haven't finished the last one.
you : stop exposing me.
kimi : i'm just telling the truth.
you : nobody likes a snitch.
kimi : you like me.
you : unfortunately.
kimi : see?
you : confidence is a disease.
kimi : and i'm terminal.
You laughed loudly enough that a couple walking past glanced at you.
kimi : there it is.
you : what?
kimi : that laugh.
you : you're weird.
kimi : you're smiling.
you : stop acting like you can see me.
kimi : i know you.
you : creepy.
kimi : accurate.
You pushed open the bookstore door.
The little bell above it rang softly.
kimi : did you go inside?
you : maybe.
kimi : i literally heard the bell.
you : maybe it was a different bell.
kimi : you're impossible.
you : yet you're the one who called me.
kimi : because i miss you.
For a moment you forgot what you were looking at.
Every single time.
No matter how casually he said it.
No matter how often.
It always made your heart do that stupid thing.
you : you've seen me this morning.
kimi : and?
you : that's not enough?
kimi : no.
you : clingy.
kimi : only for you.
You immediately turned into the nearest bookshelf to hide your smile from absolutely nobody.
kimi : are you blushing?
you : goodbye.
kimi : YOU ARE.
you : goodbye, kimi.
kimi : send me pictures of the bookstore.
you : maybe.
kimi : and get coffee.
you : maybe.
kimi : and call me later.
you : maybe.
kimi : that's three maybes.
you : sounds like a YOU problem.
kimi : i miss you.
you : you're literally going to see me tomorrow.
kimi : that's so far away.
you : dramatic.
kimi : says the girl who cried during a dog food commercial.
you : IT WAS SAD.
kimi : sure.
you : i'm hanging up.
kimi : no you're not.
you : probably not.
kimi : exactly.
And somehow the call continued for another hour.

The paddock was already starting to wake up.
Mechanics moved between garages carrying equipment, engineers walked around with tablets in hand, and somewhere in the distance a radio crackled with instructions.
Race day.
Which meant everyone was busy.
Which also meant you and Kimi had exactly ten minutes before someone came looking for him.
Ten glorious minutes.
You slipped into one of the quieter hallways behind the Mercedes hospitality, immediately spotting him leaning against the wall.
The second he saw you, he smiled.
Not the smile he gave cameras.
Not the smile he gave interviewers.
The real one.
The one reserved just for you.
"There you are."
You laughed softly.
"I was gone for five minutes."
"Seven."
"You counted?"
"Obviously."
"You need hobbies."
Kimi pushed himself off the wall and walked over.
"You could be my hobby."
You groaned.
"That was terrible."
"You smiled."
"Against my will."
"Still counts."
His hands settled on your waist naturally, pulling you closer.
It was unfair how easy this had become.
Months ago you would've panicked every time he touched you.
Now it felt strange when he didn't.
"You nervous?" you asked.
"A little."
That surprised you.
Kimi wasn't usually nervous.
At least not visibly.
"You'll be fine."
"I know."
"Then why are you nervous?"
He looked down at you.
"You make me nervous."
You stared at him.
"Oh my God."
"What?"
"That was actually smooth."
A victorious grin appeared on his face.
"Thank you."
"I hate encouraging this behavior."
"Too late."
You laughed, shaking your head.
For a few moments neither of you spoke.
You simply stood there together.
Away from cameras.
Away from journalists.
Away from everyone.
Kimi rested his forehead against yours.
His eyes were closed.
You could tell he was trying to enjoy the rare moment of peace before the chaos of race day started.
"I miss this," he admitted quietly.
"This?"
"Being normal."
You smiled softly.
"You're about to drive a Formula One car."
"Exactly."
Before you could answer, a door opened somewhere nearby.
Both of you froze.
Instantly.
Years of sneaking around had made it a reflex.
Kimi stepped back.
You looked in opposite directions.
The usual routine.
Unfortunately, neither of you had anticipated who would be walking around the corner.
"Toto?"
Your soul left your body.
Standing five meters away was Toto Wolff.
Holding a coffee.
Staring directly at both of you.
Silence.
Terrible.
Awful.
Horrific silence.
You wanted the ground to swallow you whole.
Kimi looked equally horrified.
Nobody moved.
Nobody spoke.
Finally Toto raised an eyebrow.
One eyebrow.
The eyebrow.
"Oh."
That was somehow worse.
Much worse.
Kimi cleared his throat.
"Good morning."
Toto blinked.
Then looked at you.
Then at Kimi.
Then back at you.
"You know," he said calmly, "I was wondering why our rookie driver suddenly started arriving forty minutes earlier than everyone else."
You covered your face immediately.
"Oh my God."
Kimi looked ready to launch himself into the nearest wall.
Toto took a sip of his coffee.
Still completely calm.
Which was terrifying.
"You know what gave it away?"
Neither of you answered.
"The fact that he smiles."
Kimi groaned.
"Toto."
"No, really."
Toto pointed at him.
"He smiles at his phone."
You immediately started laughing.
Kimi looked betrayed.
"Toto!"
"You smile at your phone and then spend the entire day pretending you're mysterious."
You were laughing so hard you had to hold onto the wall.
"This is so embarrassing."
"It gets worse."
"No."
"It does."
Toto nodded.
"You also started volunteering for media days."
Kimi's eyes widened.
"Oh my God."
"Nobody volunteers for media."
You nearly choked.
Meanwhile Toto looked far too pleased with himself.
The man had apparently been collecting evidence for months.
"So..." he continued.
"How long?"
Both of you looked at each other.
Then back at him.
"Few months."
Toto nodded.
"Thought so."
"You're not mad?" you asked carefully.
Toto looked genuinely confused.
"Why would I be mad?"
You blinked.
Kimi blinked.
"Wait."
"Wait."
Toto laughed.
"I have two drivers. One crashes into walls and one falls in love."
He pointed at Kimi.
"I got the better option."
You nearly fell over laughing.
Kimi covered his face.
"Toto, please."
"No."
"Toto."
"No."
You could actually see him enjoying this.
Which was somehow worse than him being angry.
The Mercedes boss finished his coffee.
"Well."
He checked his watch.
"Try not to get caught by literally anyone else."
Both of you stared.
"That's it?"
"That's it."
"Toto—"
He pointed at Kimi.
"Race first."
Then pointed at you.
"Stress him out after."
"Oh my God."
Toto started walking away.
After a few steps he stopped.
Turned around.
And smiled.
"By the way."
Your stomach dropped.
"You two are not nearly as subtle as you think."
Then he left.
Just walked away.
Leaving you and Kimi standing there in complete silence.
You slowly turned toward him.
He slowly turned toward you.
"...we're doomed."
Kimi sighed.
"Absolutely doomed."
And somewhere in the paddock, Toto Wolff was probably laughing about it already.
˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
There had been many eras inside the Mercedes garage.
The domination years.
The rebuilding years.
And...
2016.
Nobody talked about 2016.
If someone accidentally mentioned it, an engineer would mysteriously find something very important to do on the other side of the garage.
Some traumas simply stayed in Formula One forever.
Thankfully, the current drama wasn't threatening championships.
It was simply...
Entertainment.
At least according to Toto Wolff.
Unfortunately for Kimi Antonelli...
He happened to be the main character.
Kimi had made exactly one mistake.
One.
He had let Toto catch him with his girlfriend.
His very secret girlfriend.
His teammate's sister.
Since that day, Toto had developed what Kimi could only describe as a new hobby.
Causing problems.
Not actual problems.
Just enough chaos to entertain himself.
Which, considering Toto was responsible for an entire Formula One team, was slightly concerning.
"Kimi."
Kimi looked up from his phone.
Toto was standing in the middle of the garage with a coffee in one hand.
"Yes?"
"I have a question."
Already dangerous.
Kimi could tell by the smile.
"What is it?"
Toto looked around dramatically before asking loudly enough for the nearby engineers to hear.
"Have you been... distracted recently?"
Kimi froze.
Around him, several mechanics looked up.
George looked over from the other side of the garage.
Your head immediately snapped up from where you were talking to one of the marketing staff.
No.
Absolutely not.
"I'm focused," Kimi answered.
"Hm."
Toto took a thoughtful sip of coffee.
"You've been smiling more."
"..."
"..."
George laughed.
"I've noticed that too."
Kimi wanted the floor to collapse beneath him.
Toto nodded.
"Very unusual."
George walked over, completely unaware of the actual situation.
"I think he's finally getting comfortable."
"Maybe."
"Or..."
George smirked.
"Maybe there's a girl."
Kimi nearly stopped breathing.
Toto looked at him.
Then at George.
Then back at Kimi.
"Oh?"
George crossed his arms.
"I mean, look at him."
Everyone looked.
Kimi hated this.
"He's always on his phone."
Kimi slowly put his phone into his pocket.
George pointed dramatically.
"Exactly!"
Toto bit the inside of his cheek.
He was trying not to laugh.
Kimi could see it.
"So..." George continued.
"Who is she?"
"There isn't a she."
George gasped dramatically.
"So there IS someone."
"I didn't say that."
"You basically did."
"I really didn't."
Toto decided this was the perfect time to contribute.
"I agree with George."
Traitor.
"There seems to be... someone."
Kimi looked directly at his team principal.
Please.
Please stop.
Toto smiled politely.
"I wonder who."
Kimi wondered if changing teams was still an option.
For the next twenty minutes, George became a detective.
A very bad detective.
"It could be someone from marketing."
"No."
"The media team?"
"No."
"A Ferrari spy?"
Kimi blinked.
"What?"
"You never know."
Alex Albon, who had wandered into the garage to bother George, immediately joined in.
"A Ferrari spy would be kind of romantic."
George actually considered it.
"It would."
Kimi looked ready to bang his head against the nearest wall.
You happened to walk past.
Big mistake.
George immediately pointed toward you.
"Hey!"
You looked over.
"What?"
"Help us."
"With?"
"We're trying to figure out who Kimi likes."
Your heart nearly exploded.
You looked at Kimi.
He looked back at you with the exact same expression.
Pure panic.
"Oh."
You somehow managed to keep a straight face.
"I have absolutely no idea."
"Liar," Toto muttered into his coffee.
Your eyes widened.
You shot him a look.
He innocently looked away.
George didn't hear him.
Thankfully.
George continued making increasingly ridiculous theories.
"The hospitality girl."
"No."
"The Sky Sports presenter."
"No."
"Someone from Formula 2."
"No."
"The woman who sells coffee outside the paddock."
Kimi rubbed his temples.
"I've never spoken to her."
"Exactly."
"...what?"
"You're hiding something."
Alex burst into laughter.
George looked offended.
"I'm being serious."
"You absolutely are," Alex replied, trying to catch his breath.
Eventually, Toto decided enough damage had been done.
For now.
He looked at Kimi.
"Don't worry."
Kimi didn't trust those words.
"Your secret is safe with me."
Silence.
George looked confused.
"What secret?"
Toto didn't even hesitate.
"The secret that he likes someone."
"Oh."
George nodded.
"Right."
Then George looked at Kimi.
"Listen."
Kimi prepared himself.
"If you ever need advice..."
"..."
"..."
"...I'm here."
Kimi almost laughed.
George Russell.
Giving him dating advice.
About George Russell's own sister.
"Thanks."
"I'm serious."
"I know."
"You should never date your teammate's sister though."
Toto coughed violently into his coffee.
Alex turned around completely, shoulders shaking with silent laughter.
You suddenly found the floor incredibly interesting.
George continued.
"That's just asking for trouble."
Kimi's face remained perfectly neutral.
Internally...
He was already writing his will.
As George walked away to talk with an engineer, Toto finally lost the battle.
He laughed.
Not loudly.
Just enough for Kimi to hear.
"I'm sorry," Toto admitted between laughs.
"I really am."
"You are absolutely not."
"No."
"I'm not."
"You enjoy this."
"I do."
Toto smiled.
"It's been a while since we've had harmless garage drama."
He glanced toward George.
"He has absolutely no idea."
"No."
"And somehow..."
Toto laughed again.
"...that makes it even funnier."
Kimi sighed dramatically.
"I work for a menace."
"You work for an entertained menace."
"There is a difference?"
"Not really."
Kimi shook his head.
One day.
One day this secret would come out.
And when it did...
He wasn't sure whether George would kill him first...
...or Toto for knowing the entire time and enjoying every single second of it.

( ollie bearman x !fem childhood reader)
You met Ollie long before the noise of engines and flashing cameras—back when life was quieter, softer. It started in Amelie’s room, surrounded by scattered Barbies and half-made stories, when her older brother Oliver walked in. You didn’t know it then, but something about that moment stayed with you. Maybe it was the way he smiled, or how easily he fit into your world.
From that day on, you carried a quiet certainty: somehow, someday, you and Ollie Bearman would end up together. It felt simple back then, like all childhood promises do. But life had a way of speeding up, pulling you in different directions, and turning that innocent certainty into something far more complicated.
a/n: Heyyy guys , I'm back sorry for not updating on monday , I had inspiration so you get 5 new chapters. extra info : and in this story Ollie and Alicia broke up but I know that in real life that did not happen so this is FICTION and I also know that Amelie is 13 but because this is fiction she is going to be 18 and Thomas is going to be the younger sibling

If there was one thing Mrs. Bearman believed in, it was family time.
And apparently that included forcing everyone outside.
"It's not forcing," she had said earlier.
"It literally is," Thomas replied.
Now, somehow, all of you were gathered in the backyard around a fire pit while the evening sky slowly darkened above you.
A pile of blankets had mysteriously appeared.
There were snacks.
Hot chocolate.
Marshmallows.
And enough food to feed a small village.
Typical Mrs. Bearman behavior.
"You know," Thomas said as he settled into one of the outdoor chairs, "most normal families watch television."
His mother looked offended.
"We have a television."
"Then why are we outside?"
"Because it's nice."
Thomas looked around dramatically.
"It is cold."
"It's England," Ollie replied. "That's unavoidable."
"Fair point."
You smiled into your mug.
The fire crackled softly in front of everyone, casting warm orange light across familiar faces.
Honestly?
It felt nice.
Comfortable.
The kind of evening that made you forget about university deadlines and responsibilities waiting back home.
For now, there was only this.
The Bearmans.
And the fact that Thomas had already burned his first marshmallow.
"How?" Amelie asked.
"It was an accident."
"You put it directly into the fire."
"I wanted efficiency."
"That's not how marshmallows work."
Thomas stared at the black lump on the end of his stick.
"I think it's still edible."
"No," everyone answered immediately.
Mrs. Bearman laughed from beside her husband.
"You haven't changed at all."
"Thank you."
"That wasn't a compliment."
The conversation drifted naturally after that.
Stories.
Jokes.
Random topics.
The kind of conversations that went nowhere but somehow never felt boring.
At one point Mr. Bearman disappeared inside the house.
Nobody questioned it.
That was their first mistake.
Because when he returned, he was carrying something.
A photo album.
Immediately every Bearman sibling groaned.
"Oh no."
"Oh yes," Mr. Bearman replied proudly.
You laughed.
"Not more photos."
"Definitely more photos."
Thomas looked horrified.
"Can we not?"
"No."
Mrs. Bearman looked delighted.
"Absolutely yes."
The photo album was passed around.
And the suffering began.
Again.
The first few photos were harmless.
Birthday parties.
School events.
Family holidays.
Then came the embarrassing ones.
"Oh my God."
Amelie immediately covered her face.
"No."
Mr. Bearman held up a photograph.
Seven-year-old Amelie.
Missing a front tooth.
Covered in ice cream.
Crying.
You immediately burst out laughing.
"No way."
"It was a difficult day," Amelie defended.
"You dropped your ice cream."
"I was emotionally attached to it."
Thomas was crying with laughter.
"You look devastated."
"I WAS devastated."
The teasing continued.
One embarrassing photo after another.
No survivor.
No mercy.
Then Mr. Bearman turned another page.
And paused.
A smile appeared on his face.
Dangerous.
Very dangerous.
You immediately recognized that smile.
"Oh no."
"Oh yes."
Mrs. Bearman looked over his shoulder.
Then started laughing.
You narrowed your eyes.
"What?"
Nobody answered.
A terrible sign.
"What?"
Mr. Bearman slowly turned the album around.
The photograph showed you.
You couldn't have been older than eight.
Standing proudly in the garden.
Wearing rain boots.
A princess crown.
And holding what appeared to be a stick.
"A wand," Amelie corrected.
"I remember this."
"No."
"Oh yes."
Thomas immediately lost control.
"WERE YOU FIGHTING A BUSH?"
"It attacked me."
"It was a bush."
"It knew what it did."
Even Ollie was laughing now.
Traitor.
You pointed at him.
"You wore fairy wings."
"Fair."
"Exactly."
Mrs. Bearman wiped tears from her eyes.
"You children were ridiculous."
"Were?" Ollie repeated.
His mother considered it.
"Good point."
Everyone laughed.
The fire crackled louder as darkness settled completely around the backyard.
The air grew cooler.
Without thinking, you pulled your blanket tighter around yourself.
A small movement.
Nothing important.
Apparently Ollie noticed anyway.
Because a minute later another blanket landed in your lap.
You blinked.
Then looked up.
He shrugged.
"You looked cold."
"Oh."
Your heart did something weird.
Annoying.
Very annoying.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
Thomas immediately noticed.
Of course he did.
Nothing escaped Thomas.
His eyes narrowed suspiciously.
You immediately pointed a marshmallow stick at him.
"Don't."
"I didn't say anything."
"You were thinking it."
"I absolutely was."
Amelie threw a marshmallow at her brother's face.
"Leave them alone."
The marshmallow bounced off his forehead.
Thomas looked offended.
"I am the victim."
"No."
"Emotionally."
"No."
"Dramatically."
"Definitely no."
The conversation moved on before Thomas could create another problem.
A miracle.
For a while everyone simply sat there.
Watching the fire.
Listening to the occasional crackle from the wood.
The comfortable kind of silence.
Not awkward.
Just peaceful.
The kind of silence that only happened between people who didn't need to constantly fill it.
You found yourself smiling softly.
This.
You were going to miss this.
The thought appeared unexpectedly.
The break wasn't over yet.
You still had time.
But eventually university would start again.
Everyone would go back to their lives.
Ollie back to racing.
Amelie back to horses.
Thomas back to school.
And you...
Back to assignments and lectures and stress.
The thought felt heavier than it should have.
Maybe because for the first time in a long time, everything felt simple again.
"You're doing the thing."
You blinked.
Ollie's voice.
"What thing?"
"The thinking thing."
"Oh."
He smiled slightly.
"You look serious."
You laughed softly.
"I was just thinking about how fast this break is going."
The smile on his face faded slightly.
"Yeah."
For a moment neither of you spoke.
Because both of you understood exactly what the other meant.
Eventually.
Everyone would leave again.
The fire suddenly popped loudly.
Making Mrs. Bearman jump.
Mr. Bearman immediately started laughing.
"You've been around campfires for twenty years."
"They're unpredictable."
"They're literally fire."
"Exactly."
Everyone laughed again.
And just like that, the mood lightened.
The sadness disappeared.
At least for now.
Because tonight wasn't about leaving.
Tonight wasn't about university.
Or racing.
Or responsibilities.
Tonight was about sitting around a fire with people you loved.
Laughing until your stomach hurt.
Listening to Thomas argue with a marshmallow.
Watching Amelie steal snacks.
Watching Mr. and Mrs. Bearman look at their children with that quiet pride parents always seemed to have.
And somewhere during all of it, while the fire glowed warmly against the darkness and laughter echoed across the backyard...
You realized something.
Home wasn't always a place.
Sometimes it was people.
And sitting there surrounded by the Bearmans, wrapped in blankets and warmth and familiar chaos...
It felt an awful lot like home.
˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
If there was one universal truth in life, it was this:
Nothing good ever came from Thomas saying, "I have an idea."
Nothing.
Not one single thing.
Not in childhood.
Not now.
Not ever.
Which was exactly why the second those words left his mouth, you immediately became suspicious.
The campfire had burned lower now, the flames softer and calmer than before.
Mr. and Mrs. Bearman had gone inside nearly twenty minutes ago after declaring themselves "too old" to stay awake any longer.
Thomas had called them traitors.
Mrs. Bearman had threatened to make him do laundry.
The conversation ended there.
Now only the four of you remained outside.
Blankets.
Snacks.
The occasional crackle from the fire.
Honestly?
It had been peaceful.
Keyword:
Had.
Because Thomas suddenly sat up.
A dangerous look appeared in his eyes.
The kind of look that usually ended with property damage.
Or emotional damage.
Sometimes both.
"I have an idea."
Immediately:
"No."
"No."
"Absolutely not."
Thomas looked offended.
"I haven't even said it yet."
"Experience," Ollie replied.
"Years of experience," Amelie agreed.
Thomas ignored them.
"We should play Truth or Dare."
Silence.
Then—
Amelie groaned.
Ollie dropped his head backward dramatically.
You physically covered your face.
"No."
"Why does everyone hate fun?"
"Because you're involved," Ollie answered.
"Rude."
"Accurate."
Thomas pointed dramatically.
"Come on."
"No."
"Why?"
"Because you're evil."
Thomas smiled.
Unfortunately that wasn't a denial.
"Exactly why it'll be fun."
You looked toward Amelie.
She looked toward Ollie.
Ollie looked toward the fire like he was considering jumping into it.
Unfortunately, Thomas noticed.
"That's three against one."
"There are four of us."
"I'm counting myself."
"That's not how numbers work."
Thomas waved a hand dismissively.
"Details."
A few minutes later—
Against everyone's better judgment—
You were sitting in a circle around the fire.
Preparing to make terrible decisions.
"Okay," Thomas announced.
"Why are you acting like a game show host?"
"Because I have presence."
"You have issues."
Thomas ignored Ollie.
"As the smartest person here—"
"No."
"—I will go first."
Amelie snorted.
"Self-appointed title."
"Truth or dare, Amelie?"
His sister narrowed her eyes.
"Truth."
"Coward."
"I know you."
Thomas looked deeply disappointed.
Then grinned.
"Oh."
That grin.
That awful grin.
"Who was your first crush?"
Amelie immediately groaned.
"You suck."
"I know."
The rest of you laughed.
Amelie rolled her eyes dramatically.
"A boy from primary school."
"OHHHH."
"Thomas."
"What?"
"What was his name?"
"No."
"What was his name?"
"No."
"What was his—"
"NEXT QUESTION."
Everyone laughed.
Especially because Thomas looked genuinely heartbroken.
"You're no fun."
"You asked."
"Fair."
The game continued.
Slowly.
Dangerously.
Thomas had to dare Ollie to eat a combination of marshmallow and ketchup.
Ollie nearly disowned him.
Amelie was forced to reveal the most embarrassing horse name she'd ever loved.
Apparently it was Sparkles.
Which Thomas immediately promised never to forget.
Then unfortunately—
It became your turn.
"Oh no."
"Oh yes."
Thomas pointed dramatically.
"Truth or dare?"
You narrowed your eyes.
Truth felt dangerous.
Dare felt worse.
"...truth."
Thomas immediately looked excited.
Bad sign.
Very bad sign.
He leaned forward.
Far too interested.
"What is your most embarrassing memory?"
You froze.
Everyone froze.
Then slowly—
Very slowly—
All three Bearman siblings started smiling.
"No."
"Oh my God."
"No."
Thomas immediately started laughing.
"THE ATTIC."
"I hate all of you."
Amelie was already wheezing.
"The attic wins."
"The attic absolutely wins."
You buried your face in your hands.
"Can we move on?"
"No."
"Please?"
"Never."
Even Ollie looked amused.
Traitor.
A complete traitor.
After several minutes of suffering, the game continued.
And somehow.
Somehow.
Everything was fine.
Until Thomas got bored.
Which was the worst possible thing that could happen.
Because bored Thomas was creative Thomas.
And creative Thomas was dangerous.
"Oh."
The word alone made everyone nervous.
"Oh?" Amelie repeated.
"I have a better question."
"No."
Thomas ignored Ollie completely.
His eyes moved between you and Ollie.
Immediately you knew.
Disaster.
Incoming disaster.
"No."
"You don't even know the question."
"I know enough."
Thomas grinned.
"Truth or dare, Ollie?"
Ollie sighed.
"Truth."
"Coward."
"I learned from Amelie."
Thomas nodded approvingly.
"Fair."
Then—
Then he asked the question.
The worst question possible.
"Have you ever liked someone that was already your friend?"
Silence.
Complete silence.
The fire crackled.
A bird chirped somewhere.
The universe itself seemed to pause.
You immediately looked anywhere except Ollie.
The sky.
The fire.
A random tree.
Anything.
Because surely Thomas wasn't—
Surely he wasn't—
Unfortunately he was.
Thomas looked completely innocent.
Which somehow made it worse.
Amelie looked ready to murder him.
Ollie stared.
For a moment.
Then another.
Long enough that your stomach did something uncomfortable.
Then finally—
"Yes."
The answer came easily.
Casually.
Like it meant nothing.
But somehow that only made everything feel stranger.
Thomas immediately perked up.
"WHO?"
"No."
"Come on."
"No."
"You have to tell us."
"I literally don't."
"You absolutely do."
Ollie shook his head.
"No."
For once.
Thomas didn't push.
Mostly because Amelie kicked him.
Hard.
"OW."
"You deserved that."
"I asked one question."
"You know exactly what you were doing."
Thomas looked proud.
Which confirmed everything.
The idiot knew exactly what he was doing.
Eventually the conversation moved on.
Thankfully.
Painfully.
Thankfully.
But something felt different now.
Not bad.
Just different.
A strange awareness.
The kind that appeared when someone said something that made you think too much.
And unfortunately...
You were definitely thinking too much.
The fire had burned lower now.
The night growing cooler around all of you.
At some point Thomas had stretched out dramatically across two chairs.
Amelie was curled under three blankets despite claiming she wasn't cold.
And Ollie...
Ollie sat across from you.
Looking relaxed.
Laughing at something Thomas said.
Looking completely normal.
Meanwhile your brain was busy being incredibly annoying.
"You've gone quiet."
You blinked.
Amelie.
"Oh."
"You've been staring at the fire for ten minutes."
"I have."
"Thinking?"
"A little."
Amelie smiled knowingly.
Dangerous.
Very dangerous.
You immediately pointed at her.
"Don't."
"I didn't say anything."
"You were about to."
"Maybe."
The two of you laughed softly.
Across the fire, Ollie looked over.
"What?"
"Nothing."
That answer satisfied absolutely nobody.
Especially not Thomas.
Who immediately sat upright.
"Oh my God."
"No."
"I just realized something."
"Thomas."
"The attic happened today."
"Thomas."
"And now we're playing Truth or Dare."
"THOMAS."
"This is the greatest day of my life."
A marshmallow hit him directly in the forehead.
Courtesy of Amelie.
"Ow."
"Deserved."
And honestly?
For once.
Everyone agreed.
˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
If there was one thing Ollie had learned about spring break, it was that it moved way too fast.
Seriously.
It felt like he'd landed in England yesterday.
One moment he was stuck in airports, dealing with media duties and interviews and endless travel.
The next?
One week was already gone.
Gone.
Just like that.
Which was frankly unfair.
Because for the first time in months, maybe even years, life felt... normal.
No cameras.
No race weekends.
No schedules.
No interviews asking the same questions over and over.
Just home.
His family.
His friends.
Good food.
And somehow Y/n being back had made everything feel even more like the old days.
Not that he was thinking about that.
Of course not.
Absolutely not.
Ollie was currently lying across his bed scrolling through his phone when his bedroom door suddenly burst open.
Without knocking.
Naturally.
Only one person in the house behaved like that.
Amelie.
She marched inside and immediately threw herself dramatically onto his bed.
Face first.
Without saying a word.
Ollie didn't even look up.
"No."
A muffled groan came from his pillow.
"You don't even know what I'm going to ask."
"I don't need to."
Another groan.
Then silence.
Then—
"I want to go on a road trip."
Ollie finally lowered his phone.
"A what?"
Amelie sat up.
"A road trip."
His eyes narrowed.
Immediately suspicious.
"Why?"
"Because we're bored."
"We are not bored."
"We absolutely are."
Ollie stared at her.
"We spent yesterday playing football in the garden."
"Exactly."
"And?"
"We've already done that."
"You say that like normal people don't repeat activities."
Amelie pointed dramatically.
"You're missing the point."
"What point?"
"The point is that there's only one week left."
That got his attention.
Because unfortunately...
She wasn't wrong.
One week.
Only one.
The realization felt strangely depressing.
Amelie noticed immediately.
"See?"
"No."
"You agree with me."
"I don't."
"You do."
Ollie sighed.
Because he kind of did.
The break was disappearing faster than he wanted.
And once it ended?
Back to airports.
Back to racing.
Back to being constantly busy.
Not that he didn't love racing.
Because he did.
But...
Home was nice.
Really nice.
Especially lately.
Amelie seemed to sense victory.
Which was dangerous.
"So."
"No."
"So."
"No."
"Ollie."
"Amelie."
"We should go."
"Where?"
"Anywhere."
"That's not a destination."
"We'll figure it out."
"You've planned absolutely nothing."
"Correct."
Ollie rubbed his face.
"You're impossible."
"Thank you."
"It wasn't a compliment."
She smiled proudly anyway.
Of course she did.
For a moment she sat quietly.
Which immediately made Ollie suspicious.
Because Amelie being quiet usually meant she was planning something.
"What?"
"What what?"
"You're thinking."
"No."
"That's a lie."
"Maybe."
"There it is."
Amelie shifted slightly.
Then a grin appeared.
The dangerous kind.
The kind that meant Ollie was about to regret everything.
"Oh no."
"Oh yes."
"No."
"Listen."
"I'm already against it."
"You don't even know the idea."
"I know you."
She looked offended.
"You wound me."
"Good."
"Ollie."
"No."
"What if we bring everyone?"
Ollie froze.
Immediately.
Everyone.
As in—
Amelie.
Thomas.
Him.
And—
No.
Absolutely not.
His sister's grin widened.
"Oh my God."
"What?"
"I know that face."
"There is no face."
"There absolutely is."
Ollie pointed accusingly.
"Don't."
"It's the Y/n face."
"There is no Y/n face."
"There is."
"There isn't."
"There definitely is."
Ollie hated siblings.
All of them.
Every single one.
Especially his.
Amelie looked far too pleased with herself.
"This is excellent."
"You are making things up."
"Sure."
"I am."
"Ollie."
"What?"
"When was the last time all four of us went somewhere together?"
The question caught him off guard.
Because honestly?
He didn't know.
Years.
Probably.
Before karting got serious.
Before university.
Before everyone got busy.
Back when things had been simpler.
When road trips meant snacks and music and arguing over directions.
Back when Thomas was small enough to fit comfortably in the back seat.
The memory made him smile slightly.
Unfortunately.
Amelie noticed.
"See."
"No."
"You smiled."
"I hate you."
She looked delighted.
"Road trip."
Ollie groaned dramatically.
Because he already knew how this would end.
Amelie would ask Thomas.
Thomas would immediately agree.
Then they'd tell Y/n.
Who would probably agree too.
And then somehow—
Somehow—
He'd end up going.
Because that was always how these things worked.
His sister knew it too.
Which was why she looked so confident.
"We could go to the coast."
"Mm."
"Or a small town."
"Mm."
"Or somewhere with hiking."
"No."
"Fair."
Amelie laughed.
Then suddenly sat up straighter.
"Oh."
"What now?"
"We should tell Thomas."
"No."
"Why?"
"Because he'll become unbearable."
"That's true."
The bedroom door immediately opened.
Both siblings froze.
Thomas stood there.
Holding a bag of crisps.
Suspiciously.
"Tell me what?"
Silence.
Amelie sighed.
"Damn it."
Thomas narrowed his eyes.
"What are you hiding?"
"Nothing."
"That's a lie."
"It is."
"What are you hiding?"
Amelie looked at Ollie.
Ollie looked at Amelie.
Then both sighed.
Simultaneously.
Thomas grinned.
A terrible sign.
"Aha."
"Thomas."
"What?"
"We were thinking about a road trip."
The reaction was immediate.
"YES."
Ollie closed his eyes.
Of course.
Of course that was the reaction.
Thomas looked like he'd just won the lottery.
"When?"
"We don't know."
"Where?"
"We don't know."
"Can I choose the music?"
"Absolutely not."
Thomas looked offended.
"My playlists are amazing."
"They're crimes against humanity."
"Dramatic."
"Correct."
Thomas ignored him completely.
"We have to ask Y/n."
Amelie immediately nodded.
"Exactly."
Ollie looked toward the ceiling.
Maybe if he ignored the conversation long enough, it would disappear.
Unfortunately.
It didn't.
Because Thomas was already halfway out the door.
"Come on."
"No."
"Come on."
"No."
"We need to convince Y/n."
"Why me?"
Thomas and Amelie looked at him.
Then exchanged a look.
The kind of look siblings shared when they were about to be annoying.
Extremely annoying.
"Ollie."
"No."
"You're definitely coming."
"I don't want to."
"Liar."
Unfortunately.
That was the problem.
Because despite all his complaining.
Despite how chaotic it would inevitably become.
Despite Thomas existing.
A road trip with all of them actually sounded...
Really nice.
And judging by the grin on Amelie's face?
She knew it.
END
a/n: heyyy, so I ended the chapter right here , because the road trip is going to be amazing, I promise.
