Because I find it interesting to figure out which species of animals they mix for these things, I’ve been looking into possible animals that were the inspiration for Mula.

The ‘cat’ part of the catdeer is very obviously a Caracal. 

The ‘deer’ part is a lot more difficult to pin down. The few that I think are most likely are: The Springbok Gazelle, the Rhim Gazelle, and Chinkara. This is based mostly on the antler shape Mula has (which I couldn’t find any ‘deer’ with similar) as well as Mula’s coloring. 

If anyone has a better idea of the the ‘deer’ half, it would be great to know!

I was bored and decided to draw some fanart of Raava in her “human” form. I decided to give her hanfu style clothing, though I’m not sure which dynasty Wan’s era was suppose to be based off of. Pencil and Micron ink pen (0.05) on paper
