The Reading Rush Day 3:

Today I fulfilled the challenge 'read a book with a non-human main character'. I chose the graphic novel 'The Tea Dragon Society'. It's such an adorable story!

Reading Rush Day 2:

I fulfilled the challenge 'Read a book with at least 5 words on the cover'.

I chose 'The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane' by Lisa See. I enjoy reading Lisa See's work, since she always describes the sacredness of female bonds so expertly!

For Reading Rush Day 1, I fulfilled two challenges:

--Read a book you meant to read last year

--Read an author's first book

I selected 'Small Country' by Gael Faye. I received this story through Book of the Month last June, but I haven't gotten around to reading this until now! I'm very thankful that I read this yesterday, as I finished it in a day.

It's a very heartbreaking read, as it talks about genocide, yet its message is very powerful!
