So like he's going on a date with his current bf who he's been seeing for like a month and the bf is late to meet at this coffee shop/cafe place. Kirishima's there thinking about all the reasons he likes the guy and trying to validate them dating to himself until the bf arrives. Right off the bat he's hella rude to the employees and when Kirishima tries to speak up about it the bf snaps at him and shit. Because Kirishima hasn't had an actually healthy relationship he doesn't get that what's happening isn't healthy so he just does what the bf wants. When they sit down and start talking, Kirishima says something that the bf doesn't like and the bf goes at him with all the insults and shit he can think of. When Kirishima simply says he's going to the bathroom (he's in desperate need of a cry at that moment but doesn't want to do it in public because his bf will yell at him) but that angers the bf who grabs Kirishima's arm and asks if he gave Kirishima permission to and then starts saying Kirishima was going to be peeping at other guys while calling him names and Kirishima is really close to crying. At this point a guy bangs open the front door to the place and attracts everyone's attention before sending a glare at everyone and going up to order. The bf is only momentarily paused by Bakugou before he continues to insult Kirishima, who's simply glad that he's not getting the shit beaten out of him. Bakugou plops down at a table in the corner, which happens to be right next to Kirishima's table. After a minute of Kirishima being berated and on the verge of crying (which is also something the bf is insulting him for now) Bakugou stands up and gets between them. The bf stands too and tells Bakugou to piss off, but Bakugou isn't having that shit and tells the guy to leave Kirishima alone and stop harassing him. The bf says they're dating so he can say what he wants and Bakugou replies by explaining you don't treat your bf or gf like shit even if you are a piece of shit which angers the guy. So the bf snaps at Kirishima that they're leaving, but Kirishima A) is still very much paying attention to Bakugou who is both a bad boy and a nice guy and B) listening to Bakugou in that he shouldn't be taking shit. So instead of going with Kirishima holds onto Bakugou and says no. Well, the bf gets even more pissed at that, and by this point an employee comes over to tell the bf to leave and that the police are gonna be here since the place is like next to it which manages to get the bf outta there. So Kirishima kinda just quietly apologizes to Bakugou after that and thanks him. Bakugou then turns his anger to Kirishima and starts scolding him for not getting out of an unhealthy relationship like that sooner and Kirishima explains he doesn't have much (if any) good relationship experience. Bakugou's name gets called for food, but they ignore it for the moment. Bakugou hesitates, mumbling about how he's gotta meet someone, before he grabs kirishima's hand and writes a phone number on it. When Kirishima asks what about it, Bakugou replies, "it's my fucking number. Call me if you want a shot at a fucking healthy relationship, darling." And with that, Bakugou gets his order and is back out the door.
