ophelia.  it’s a lot, veronica. before you guys dated ophelia.  opt solo, take reggie .. both seem to point towards him getting upset. ophelia. I think my father, might be why reggie is getting angry about it. mother is distant,but she cares . my father however, chose a incriminating article against my brother. he chose his job over his son.  ophelia. he’s not scared. he just doesn’t want their ‘ stamp ‘ of approval. he’s a self made man, . ophelia.you can ask him what he wants, but I always thought I was enough, and then you were enough. he knows who cares about him, ophelia. should I come with ?

  she stares at her phone a second longer, before walking over and settling it where she’d been sitting. it’s weird, how all this was coming up. she almost wants to text reggie but .. decides against it.

    several pings later, ophelia is dragging herself from the couch. between the relentless text tones and the clack of her house slippers, the woman glares at the screen until a soft realization dawns; it’s ronnie.

ophelia.  it’s just a lot of bad stuff happened to him there.  ophelia.  why do you want to go ?  ophelia.  it might have to do with jughead ? they used to be best friends, same with archie. ophelia. he just .. wanted to move on and he did.

            while waiting for ophelia to text her back, veronica decides to enjoy a cold glass of a mimosa while she combs through a FIRST EDITION of the odyssey. she’s alerted to the messages when she hears the vibration against the table.

“Connecting dots, are we?” She was off though – yeah, they were staying in those fancy hotels because of her, but the only reason any of them were there in the first place was because of Archie. The redhead wanted to make it with his music, and Jughead couldn’t care less about anything besides having fun with his best friends. The minute it stopped being fun was when he was out. “That’s what Bruce Springsteen did. He used to siphon gas from other cars just to make it to his gigs. Worked for him.” 

           ❝ ugh, jughead you think you know everything don’t you ?❞ she sometimes hate this ATTITUDE, he thinks he’s so above everything. maybe it’s hypocritical of her because she knows that she’s better than mostly everyone in rvierdale. she takes a sip of her starbucks, veronica is quite glad to be out of that boring town. there’s a queue of an EYEROLL. ❝ we aren’t bruce springsteen, are we ?  archie has me and the gang to help him with his dream. there would be things i would do differently, but we said we’d all do it together. ❞
