Alolan Scyther - Bug/Fairy

Scyther were first brough to Alola to get fix the overpopulation of Grubbin, Charjabug, and Vikavolt. Over time, they lost their flying typing and gained fairy typing, in resistance to the evolutionary lines Bug/Electric typing.

Eventually, their appearance took on qualities of the local Bloom Sickle pokemon, Lurantis. These scyther were able to get closer to prey that wouldn’t run away from Lurantis.

I really miss having people to design characters and talk character development with.

I’m working on a new PMD team (you saw a sneak peek of the totodile last week) but I’m feeling a bit discouraged as it’s honestly not as fun without having other teams/characters for mine to interact with. Maybe I’ll try to start up another PMD ask blog with this new team…hmmm.

I’m a little wary of making another ask blog because I am still such a perfectionist with my art that I end up not drawing very often, so I worry it would just die like my last attempt at running an ask blog. On the other hand, maybe it could be good motivation to learn how to doodle again and try not to feel like everything I post has to be refined and “perfect”.
