I mean it depends on the branch of anarchism you’re talking about. Are we talking about pure anarchism, anarcho-capitalism, anarcho-syndicalism, anarcho-communism, anarcho-primitivism, mutualism? Humans are animals. Like it or not, we need something resembling a government to regulate things. If we remove government, there are basically three possibilities. 1) By some miracle, we overcome everything we know about human nature and things work out. 2) Warlords. Lots of fucking warlords. They fill the void left by government. 3) A government eventually reforms despite being previously dismantled.

Mitch - I think its a lot easier to simply ask:

If anarchism - in whatever form you like - is so damn superior… why aren’t there any?

If it is too ‘weak’ to come about and appear - is it then at all worth striving for?

Communism tried. Look at what happened to the Soviet Union, look at what’s happening in Venezuela right now.

Capitalism, and modern western-style representative government, for all the flaws they contain as systems of government and economy, then they’re so far the best ideas we’ve come up with.

Oh, and I just have to laugh at any anarchists who start harping on about their glorious ‘non aggression principle’ - as if that would ever work in a million fucking years.
