“What if we became idols?” Wreck asks. Nice, stretching before practice, pulls the earbuds out of his ears and looks up. Wreck stands above him, haloed by the fluorescent light of the dance studio, shimmering and godlike. Nice would follow him to the ends of the earth. Like, as a fan. If Wreck were an idol, that is.

Following Nice as he meets Wreck and they become friends, idols, and heroes. Then, as Nice falls apart, Wreck works to keep him together, and Nice finally begins to realize how much Wreck means to him.
