I try so hard to support and encourage my friends, even going as far as writing fanfic and commissioning art for them.. but in the end I don't matter as much as I thought I would. All I do is end up getting disappointed and hurt

But to answer your implied question: Writeblr doesn’t work. Take this from a relative veteran of it. It will for a minority of people who attempt it, but to make it work you’ll have to pour a lot of time and effort into it, which could be used to pour into your art instead. My suggestion is to make one for fun and to connect with others but don’t focus too much on trying to keep up with trends or make things you don’t like just for the sake of clicks. Just have a good time and connect with pals and WIPs you enjoy. That’s it.

The humans think elves don’t need bathroom breaks, since they know they can hold it for days, but this elf has been traveling to reach their job, and has already been holding it to the point they are in pain. i love my friends' wips so much I just want to spend all my time reading them and listening to them talk about their stuff and would rather invest my whole being into their work than spend time working on mine because their stuff is just so cool
