Au where Erwin sends announcement emails to his coworkers at 7am with attachments like these.
I don't know about you, but I'm not at all surprised that these two have produced such a handsome boy.

Meanwhile, what might be will never be, and what is will remain, as if gazing at the sky by your side felt like freedom
ā S.S
The beauty of it all has been seeing what Levi might experience without being completely aloneāand of course, he never has beenābut in any case, Iām referring to something he can hold onto. Iām going to quote this from another anime I love, but I was really taken with the characterās line, who said so well, āIām always on the battlefield, so Iād like, at least once in my life, to protect something {...} I mean my sonā I honestly feel thatās what Leviās missing: a man without hope, searching for a purpose, who, upon finding a way to help humanity with his abilities, lost the friends who set out with him only to die after fulfilling their dream of seeing the world above ground.
Attack on Titan - Star Wars au
A thug and two babies
Thereās a lot of irony in writing this⦠Levi as a father? Throughout the series, weāve seen a Levi who looked after his own, and I donāt know why, but I honestly think heād make a very good fatherāand at the same time, a very overprotective one, given the trauma of everything heās lost. You can also see that as a teenager, Levi was... reckless, a loner, with only Furlan and Isabel by his side. But just imagine, two little ones by his side whilst heās fighting ā goodness, Hange and Levi would definitely be two first-time parents who overprotect their children in some ways and in others donāt know how to handle things... complicated.

Do you know who he is?
For those of you who are already familiar with my story, I suppose this image makes more sense now.
I suppose you already know who our narrator is, the one who appeared in Liberio from the very first chapter, donāt you?
Which of the two?

Secrets of the Underground
Chapter 6 ā Refuge
Now available on AO3
Levi, surrounded by corpses, stood at the edge of a pit in which Hange had become trapped just a few hours earlier, his hand drenched in a crimson liquid that was still warm. He stood motionless, his gaze unfocused, lost in the darkness that only grew thicker within the pit.
A Mother's Melody
Chapter 6
Refuge.
is being released today on AO3... ā(ļ¾ć®ļ¾ā)
A soft melody could be heard amidst the faint breeze seeping through the cracks in the windows. This silence was not the kind that filled the underground every time a deadly battle ended or many fell ill and died; it was a haunting, sweetly quiet melody emanating from a tiny little room in that hideout. The whisper that only two babies could hear, coming from their mother, tired after a particularly difficult day, yet stroking the soft tuft of hair on her little black-haired head. Hange wasnāt one for singing; she just hummed something without moving her lips, a discreet attempt to keep them asleep whilst she lay beside them, making sure they both kept breathing.

That said, the setting of AOT is, in itself, rooted in brutal realism with a touch of sadism, accompanied by the struggle for humanity and all that. I wonder, were there festivals within the walls? As I saw in the OVA where Mikasa thinks about what it would have been like if her parents had still been alive, were there that sort of celebration and areas where people gathered to celebrate and things like that?
But apart from that, I never really see people enjoying frequent celebrations, and of course, life in the Legion must be too difficult to be going from party to party. But I find it curious that for the lads in the Legion, when they travelled to Marley and had time to celebrate, was that the first celebration theyād ever experienced? Or well, that was obvious at a glance.
The point is, perhaps there were festivals in Paradise, but none of them ever got to enjoy one, or none of them were significant enough for the plot.
They are my salvation; theyāll probably never know it because Iām not one for talking much. Because I find it really hard to express love in words when it comes to showing it. Iām not one to beat about the bush when it comes to feelings, although I have plenty of them and have felt so many things that, for a moment, I wanted to stop feeling altogether so that it wouldnāt hurt anymore. I donāt usually talk nonsense very often, and I envy those who do. But some ā just a few ā found their way into my heart; others settled in without asking permission and without me having a choice. Because if thereās one thing I know, itās that somehow someone hears my pleas, someone understands that, even if I donāt say anything strictly speaking, I still feel too much; a life so short and with so many problems can sometimes be exhausting. But they saved me more than I ever felt I could do for them, because, as I felt so deeply, any act of that strange word they call love feels like weeping for thousands of years, for losing people who made me wish they would stay. After a while, only loneliness remained within me, as if I were condemned to it, because, honestly, everything is simpler that way, but even so, there are people who shine, sharing a little of their light in their misery; perhaps theyāll end up leaving like everyone else, and damn it, how Iāll miss them: itās as if they were tearing my heart out. But sooner or later weāll meet again, because I feel there are things that endure.
Iām writing this because life is very hard for people like me ā whether Iām quiet, or serious, or super cheerful, or super sad, or facing struggles that break me but rebuild me in each one without anyone noticing ā; Iām speaking to them.
To those who, like Levi, lose as many friends as you can, for many reasons, because in the end people leave and new ones arrive. People who, from a young age, have been accompanied by loneliness and a slight bad mood that doesnāt go away even with tea, but who endure more than anyone could ever imagine.
All of you are humanityās strongest soldiersā¦
Itās not at all the sort of thing Levi would say, but I drew it from the depths of my own pain and joy, from my own experienceāsomething I couldnāt put into words today, and perhaps never will, because Iām not that sort of person either. But if I can share it with the world in this way, itās a relief. (ā¾ā”ā)
