Sixty-seven days after a meniscus injury, Raphaël Varane returned to the practice pitch. He joined the rest of the team for the warmup portion of training. Afterwards, he joined Asier Illarramendi and Xabi Alonso inside. Fábio Coentrão had permission to miss training for personal reasons. AS reports the matter had to do with his father.
