#looking at my posts i only come on here when someone retires #dfgkjjksdf #im too old for this #not to embarrass myself on the internet but when beat hugged him i shed a few tears #anyway it's sad bitch hours but in a good way #it was of course an unfortunate reason but considering the injury and nonexistent olympic dreams #it was a perfect (!) time and place #him and wengen kombi were a love story #and to retire on a weekend when odi is having his...#well we cant really say breakthrough #but there is something that feels very monumental about his recent results #the whole thing just feels so poetic and predestined #sunset of one allrounder career #in the dawn of another #there are so many similarities between them #that make me feel such intense emotions deep down #we can only hope marco will have a bit more luck in the years to come #because janka was well on his way to become one of the greats so early #a promising career hindered by injuries that took so much from him #but he always persevered #and i cant even comprehend how hard it must have been #to know you are capable of more and always working towards it #but it always being out of your reach #thank you for the joy carlo and here's to future you're leaving in safe hands #it sure looks bright #okay im going to stop myself in time #also hi everyone long time no see LOL #i sometimes visit the tag and see so many new faces #i love that for us/you #<3
