Thanks for all the disabled rep you put into BFNIF!! It means so much. YouTube was the first OSC character I'd ever seen with a cane, and I can vouch that it makes me and so many other disabled folks really seen.
It's kind of shocking that a community with a widely disabled audience has so little canon representation, and I'm very happy to see BFNIF hasn't shied away from the topic and so seamlessly integrates disabled people into the cast <3

If you color pick xs body the color i used for his black color is actually a shade of red!^_^ this is bc red is the opposite of blue!:3
A note for those who have trouble measuring butter with a spoon as I do: one cup I am sixteen tablespoons. Butter/margarine bricks are usually a half a cup, so just cut one eighth of that amount
These are really good! And yes, for the love of god, if you have it use white sugar and brown sugar, add just a pinch of salt, and as many chocolate chips as you darn well please. Great with icecream, whipped cream on top, or a tall glass of milk (keep in mind you gotta eat it with a spoon, you can’t dip it in milk)
ok i made a really shitty analysis of starfruit and posted it to twitter so i’m gonna cross post it / copy and paste here because. it meant a lot to me . ok
it’s a bit long but it’s put into like 2 parts kind of :

ARC & DEVELOPMENTish:
i think i may have looked too far into some of this stuff because in the end a lot of what starfruit does (minus the guava / band splitting styff) is handled as more of a joke than a serious issue he has … also. not copy and pasted: i could’ve went deeper into his issues with fame and how he often has the idea of fame dangled over his head throughout the episodes so far (example below) which sets him back in the little-to-no progress he’s been trying to make .kind of . he’s very easily enamoured with the idea of being important/famous that it’s easy for his progress to just go back to 0 … maybe i will another time
STARFRUIT AND MEPHONE SIMILARITIES: this part is longer so it’s going under the read more
(the guava stuff i mention is mostly just missing starguava and i’m biased Sorry. honestly AE will probably lean more towards him moving on and finally getting over her and that’s fine too)
ALSO. ABOUT HOW MEPHONE AND STARFRUIT USE DISTRACTIONS. starfruit is actively ignoring any mentions of his past with guava , just like how s3 mephone was ignoring anything about cobs and anything about the show ending soon … both of them SOMEWHAT use the show as a distraction from people from their past (starfruit using it to try and distance himself and become a new person despite the people around him already trying to help , mephone using the show & contestants in general) vv
ALSO THE WAY THEY HANDLE THEIR EMOTIONS ABOUT THESE FEELINSG & ISSUES. they both use art to do this in one way or another , in epsiode 4 starfruit shows this with the song he sang (even if it wasn’t that good, it still shows passion & styff) .mephone4 shows it through the creation of the characters & show itself … i think a lot of the characters have pieces and parts of his personality , people he knows’ personality (ex. cobs being mirrored through ballpoint pen), and other actions/traits he/cobs/others do . both of them use art and reference/copy others art (mephone based ii off of reality shows he saw on tv , starfruit based (im assuming he helped with this at least) the heavy metal popstars makeup/band/music off of other bands he probably saw elsewhere/was created to know . They both also use these things as disctractions/to avoid issues … (i mightve already said this earlier) mephone uses the show & removing his memories to avoid and leave his issues behind, and starfruit uses music to ignore his problems and stay with what he’s comfortable with: being a singer celebrity, not changing how he acts or anything …even when he does try to change tehres people around him who influence/push the idea that he’s still a famous celebrity / singer (magnet, kind of lightbulb too) . (sorry i kept repeating myself)
ANOTHER thing about their artistic talents , or rather just starfruit/spoiled lemon , is how similar he can be to the people mephone knew as well vv
