* ◟ ― 🥝 well well wellll - this is literally me rn OIUHJIOIO !! ummm SO you know they say third time’s a charm , and i’m really rocking w that ! my name is jada , and it has been quite a bit now but i once wrote for haeil and briefly for sebastian !! 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃
born in jeju island as the youngest and only son to a family of three older daughters !! his mom actually went into labor the night of his middle sister’s birthday , and was born around 1am the next day , so yeah he’s always had a thing for dramatics !!
his dad took off w / no explanation only a few weeks after he was born. literally no one knows exactly why , though the most popular rumor is that he just couldn’t take fatherhood all of a sudden and ran off w / a secret lover to seoul
given the fact though that like --- he was present & never left the family until jihoon came , he feels a looot of guilt and finds himself responsible for his dad taking off. bc of this he suffers a lot w self worth & abandonment issues.
thankfully though , his mom is still suuuper loving & intentionally nurturing to all her kids , especially her youngest , jihoon. he’s grown to be super affectionate & doting bc of it , although he always kinda has that whole in his heart his dad left ??
never grew up w a ton of money , just enough to survive & have a few comforts. however , his mom always made everything feel special , and even if it wasn’t much jihoon never felt like he was without , in fact he’s always felt fortunate bc his mom is so caring !
the song family owns a fish restaurant a lot of tourists come to during their trip for a more homey, down-to-earth atmosphere. jihoon worked there from 15 until he began training , and loved every minute. remembered customers orders , joked around , covered the bill if someone’s card declined , that sort of thing !
while at work he’d watch this rap show that came on the tv. it started off as a small interest but eventually watching them made him feel really inspired and he always wanted to be like them ? so ! around 15-16 , he beings writing his own raps , and going to watch performances , and eventually started to do his own little performances !
after graduating hs he was v conflicted - should he pursue his newfound passion for rap and take a huge risk , or play it safe and go to college at the potential expense of his own happiness ? eventually, he chose the former , although he’d always wanted to become a provider and help his family live a better life , so even now jihoon feels major guilt at the possibility that this whole idol thing doesn’t work out for him ! but , he knows deep down he’d never be happy if he didn’t try , so is taking a risk and praying it ends in his favor !
fun fact : applied for 4 companies , yuseong , angelfish , rox records , and zm. got rejected by the other 3 before finally being selected by zm !!

verrrryy loving !! seeks out affection in any way he can, a huge fan of skinship , although he may put he will also understand if others aren’t comfy w it. but if they are , he’s def a touchy friend !! playing w people’s hair , giving them hugs for no reason , saying how much they mean to him , kisses on the cheek , the man is unhinged !
super super talkative. sometimes u literally just gotta tell him “pls shut up” bc he doesn’t realize how chatty he can be !! v inquisitive so a lot of his talking is just him asking abt things he’s curious about ! def the last one to fall asleep of the sleepover and is just kinda sitting there realizing everyone went to sleep while he was talking like “ guys ? guys?? ”
at least right now , lacks a sense of individuality , so really looks to others for guidance ? partially due to being the youngest in his family , partially because of his lack of experience in the idol industry ! always asking for advice and trying to learn from others , both in performing and just socially. however , this doesn’t allow him to take risks and learn from any potential mistakes , so sometimes it’s necessary to push him out his comfort zone and let him try things on his own !
very very hardworker !! the song family is big on dedicating yourself to whatever you commit to , and he’s taken that v seriously ! if he’s gotten even one critique during practice , he’s going to stay hours later than he expected. can be hard on himself , but he feels like he deserves it since he’s taking such a big risk by becoming a trainee !
still , he does feel he’s much more laid back & takes training a lot less seriously than some people ?? i know this may be confusing but while he is a v hard worker, right now jihoon is unwilling to compromise his friendships / happiness just to be an idol , bc he’s doing it to gain those things not lose them ?? i’ll go more in to depth about this later but he’s not all in committed to the lifestyle the way some are , he really just likes to vibe otu to music , rap , and make people happy , and being an idol just happened to be the path to do all those things at once
thiqqqq jeju satoori so apologies if after hearing him rant about something ur muse has to sit there and just translate everything for a minute ?? he’s rarely been out jeju prior to moving here so he’s still trying to sound more seoul / standard, he’s not necessarily embarrassed by it but he just wants to fit in better
definitely still wet behind the ears / naive to the whole way the industry works ?? tends to see the absolute best in people and finds it hard to believe others wouldn’t always be as kind as he’d like. therefore he’s sort of romanticized the idol lifestyle , and the thought of having competition hasn’t really hit him yet , so he can be easily misguided / led astray !! i think that once he does start to have more experience, though, this will be a really interesting thing to unpack !
loves loves making others laugh !! firmly believes in making himself look stupid for the sake of a laugh. therefore his charm & variety are some of his best skills , as it’s something he’s always done ?
on the other end , though , he’s p aloof and sort of clueless a lot of the time ?? which actually does add to his humor , but pls don’t talk in circles around him oiwjoijdwoi. he’ll try his best to understand but if u hit him w a really passive aggressive or metephorical phrase he’ll kinda just look at u like ... alrighty then anyways ?? reading signals & having more intentional humor is something he’s working on , as he feels it’ll make him a better idol in terms of personality / variety skills !
soooo so clumsy pls it’s like a hundred invisible bananas are by his feet at all times
loves to game !! when he’s not doing anything for training u can find him tucked into some corner , hood on and playing whatever game he’s feeling that day !!
definitely a night person. the long & early hours of training def get to him , he’s almost always rubbing his eyes or trying to hide his yawns between classes. catch him at 2 am though ?? he’s wired , he’s living , he’s ready to party !!
definitely a detailed person over the holistic ! might not know when your birthday is but he knows exactly what to get u for your birthday that’ll make you smile , couldn’t remember what color your hair is but remembers that one specific detail from some small talk you guys had !
can tend to still be a little forgetful / irresponsible , as he’s getting adjusted to living alone and just ... adulting still ?? sometimes has to run out of practice to get something he left in the room , or accidentally forgetting to set an alarm and has to run to training rip
this can come off as him being lazy & uncommitted , which is a misconception he actually gets v upset about ?? he does care and his trying his best , but a lifetime of depending on his siblings & mom has him a little stunted in terms of building independence
being in a new town is still rough , even a year later. he’s too far to go home really often , and seoul’s way different than what he’s used to at home. often gets homesick , so if you see him with red eyes and a stuffy nose that’s why ! because of this , clings even closer to the friends he’s made so far to feel more at home !
a huge animal person and a huge foodie !! to make himself happy , he goes to dog cafes to eat pastries & pet dogs on the weekend to get a boost in serotonin since he can’t have pets right now.
bad bad vision - maybe it’s from the majority of his life being spent in front of a computer screen who knows iojooioij but !! he’s a far-sighted king , he’s been trying to switch over to contacts for the last few months but putting something in his eye freaks him out. but he’s also a forgetful king who often leaves his glasses at home or just chooses not to wear them so has to deal w annoying headaches & eye strain ://
in terms of musical tastes, i’d say he’s straight down the middle a gg and bg stan ? even though he’s a foot in the industry he still has a new idol crush every 3-4 business days LMAO. his boy faves are blue.m & phoenix, and his girl faves are dandelion !!!!!! and alll the ys girls bc u can bet he was STREAMING season 1
seoul’s expensive , and given he really only trains here he’s not making the big bucks ! but he does some odd jobs on the side whenever he can between schedules to get some extra cash. rn , he does dog walking ( dog owner muses hit him up !! ), dog / cat sitting ,and most randomly he teaches cooking classes v sporadically to little kids !
u can check his pinterest for more info but he’s getting more into fashion lately !! loves bright colors , matching sets , and a lot of graphic designs / layers. loves borrowing from his friends closets but dw he will return it washed, dryed & neatly folded 😖
i think i really need to emphasize how shameless this man is still he gives no f’s bc he has not gotten humbled by netizens yet LMAO ,, think he’s got a little bit of dongpyo in him bc this will literally be him on the bloopers of select LOIOIIOJI pls the way i am terrified for his public perception 🙈
