Zoe was making a woman of herself. After smiths closing she had headed back home where a part of her always seemed to long for. Things with Kason were rocky. He wanted more which was what everyone wanted eventually. Problem was, Zoe was a free spirit and her ways hadn’t changed. So she’d flown Kason to his hometown so he could see his family while she stayed in New York during her week of vacation. Her heels clicked confidently on the ground while the warm summer air brushed her skin and face. She was in her element and it was evident. Times square painted lights and color onto everyone’s skin and it was beautiful. But another beautiful sight was the yellow neon sign that lit her olive skin as she peered up at it, the bar in full swing on a Saturday night. She adjusted the emerald cocktail dress that seemed to fall in the middle of formal and casual and gracefully moved through masses of people catching the glances but not acknowledging them. drink first. That was what mattered. And then Zoe sat down and something happened. She heard a familiar tone and even though she never seemed to notice the entertainment she did and her stomach went into knots. Her lips parted i  sheer shock rendered speechless as the bartender announced her name. She looked down uneasily scared that damien could of caught her gaze and swallowed. “apple martini.” she announces over the rumbling claps that now swept through the room as he finished. He sounded as flawless as ever. Zoe wasn’t sure why she was nervous. She’d parted on a good note right? Or well, more so just parted. There really wasn’t a goodbye. And despite her ever big ego it had hurt to loose a constant in her life.Â
But things could be changed, she of all people knew that. And so as the claps stopped Zoe took a tight hold on the chilled drink and took a sip. The sour tang pushed her forward and she moved through groups of people yet again, having a goal and knowing she was going to reach it. At last she stopped at the stage, shimmying her dress down just so a little cleavage would be known and lifting her chin as she lights died down. “I’d say encore, but i’m a selfish person.” Zoe calls to him, and once receiving that familiar warm-hued gaze her lips form that oh so smug smirk as the last spot light faded from his skin and she was greeted with the ability to take him in. Eyes curiously sweeping down his body as she drunk in familiarity only to have her darker brown hues rest on his face when finished. Her eyes twinkling with happiness.
“Zoe White.” Damien called out over the soft noise of the surrounding crowd as he’d made his way to standing directly in front of her. There was something so different and yet familiar to him about the way she carried herself. Zoe had been one of his best friends in his time at Smiths. Despite how many times either of them came and left they could always expect to see each other again. That was why it was so difficult when the day finally came that Smiths was closing it’s doors. Damien could remember the announcement being made so vividly. The excitement of all the toys as their freedom had been announced. Some crying tears of joy other terrified of what life was going to be like on the outside. He remembered the cool breeze as his fellow owners packed their things and made their way away from the place he’d called home for over a year. The brunette remembered looking back to see Zoe and Kase, thinking he’d have more time as he looked up at the giant building and let his mind flood with memories from all the time he’d spent there. He could remember his first day, the feeling of claiming Lola for the first time, his time spent with Alexis and Eva and Kay. The time he spent with his band that was made up of Ross and Hazel bringing a momentary smile to his face. Whitney as fresh on his mind as ever as he thought about the entirety of their relationship and how it was this place that had brought him out of one of the darkest times in his life. When he finally allowed himself to look back to say goodbye to Zoe and Kase the two of them were gone. A pit mildly landing in his stomach as he wondered if he would ever see the woman again and yet now here she was standing directly in front of him. “I never thought I’d see you again.” The boy said softly and without thinking pulled the woman in for a hug.Â
Had to share this @weheartit
Bright lights blinded Damien as he stood up at the front of stage, with his guitar in hand. He could barely see the small crowd that stood in front of him as his fingers moved over the strings. This wasn’t his first show by any means, but he wasn’t sure the lights were ever something he’d get used to even in small bars like this one. “I knew I’d see her around. I’d be at some party, she'd show up and I'd be walking out.” He started as he scanned the crowd. It had been months since Smiths had closed down but something about the small lively crowd gave him the resemblance of his time playing there with Ross and Hazel at the bar. “Or across some parking lot hiding behind her sister. I'd look up, she'd be at the red light beside me in that white Maxima with the sticker on the back.” Damien was thankful that this song was a cover and it wasn’t his own words he had to worry about butchering as he spoke half of the lyrics and sang the other. It was much less stressful then worrying about what the audience would think of his own and for the most part they seemed to enjoy it. When he noticed the door in the back the boy almost stumbled over his own words, almost sure he’d skipped at least a few lines as someone who looked strangely familiar to him walked in. He could sense the glares from his band mates as he caught himself back up to speed before continuing his song. “I knew she'd find a way to get over me but I'd never thought that she would get down with somebody I know. I guess that's just how it goes when you break up in a small town. I see our friends and they put on a show like they don't want me to know so they give me the go-around.” Damien continued the song with seemingly as few problems as he could as his eyes scanned the room, unsure where the familiar stranger had disappeared to among the lights and the crowd. Thankful when he felt the lights finally dim when he hit the last chord, knowing it meant he’d finally get at least a half hour break before they expected him to go back on.Â

Isn’t it? I’m glad I live in Wes’ villa.
“Yeah I’m glad that you’ve got him.”Â
I think they’d put the kids up for adoption. I don’t think they’d do anything too horrific. Or foster care.
That’s suggesting Smiths would even let someone get that far into a pregnancy.Â
I mean, maybe.
I mean or we don’t have to but if it was me I’d want to get them taken down.Â
I need to go home.
Okay, I understand. And where is home for you?
It is kind of odd. I can’t say i miss it though.
“I know what you mean. The villa’s are kind of nice, because it gives people more chance to roam around kind of thing. Can I ask you something though Rosalie?”Â
“That sounds a… a little lonley. The building being so empty I mean.”
“It just feels that way to me. I’m not totally sure why.” He said softly as he looked at the girl. “I’ve been feeling a little off again.”
They probably deal with them, if you get me.
That’s literally just horrifically depressing to think about.Â
That’s alright, not much I can do.
There has to be something we can. Someone to talk to or something?Â
