The younger male squeezed the others knee, a lingering look that only brought a slight lust in his eyes that he knew he quickly had to shake away “Now i need to get a blindfold-” his tone was hush, as tho he let the words slowly fall from his lips, the last few words before his entire body was pushed up against the others on the bean bags. The many glimpses he made toward the other male during the movie seemed more frequent then he thought, yet he’d only caught Katya sharing at him once, immediately sharing such a warm smile before their eyes managed to move back to what was happening on screen. & Even tho he was easily getting lost in his own thoughts slightly during it, he felt calm, he felt such an exciting feeling in the pit of his stomach, and knew that majority of it was due to Katya…even tho a part of that was also due to bigger events happening during the next few hours.
Once the movie ended, he was already way too impatient to keep the next part of the date from happening. So once Trixie came back, Guitar in hand, his eyes were already upon the older Brian’s, his own smirk growing and only turning it into an echo amount of laughter by the others comments. “Can you just hold the audience questions until the end, m’am” He kept the sly expression on his face, making sure Katya once again got himself comfortable, positioning his own self upon the small stool he pulled closer to his boyfriend. Tuning in his guitar with a few strums, he cleared his throat “- People at the party, and i’m wanting to danc– Bitch, i’m not playing that right now, that’s not whats happening.” He playfully rolled his eyes, loving every little reaction he could get from Katya “But, for the real reason i got this out…i thought i’d give you a little mini private listening to one of my new songs, a very special song…a song i told you about? but a song i didn’t entirely tell you who it was about, but i think you’ll know…”
he managed to swallow his last few words, knowing he got the message out, knowing the other knew what he was saying, but with that? words started to fall from the others lips “Woah woah woah woah You’ve got time to grow Oh soldier, take your time No one said the words all have to rhyme, and if they do it’s fine-” he started to get lost in his words, like he normally did whenever he was preforming something, but this felt important, and as the song went on, he managed to catch a glimpse of the others eyes meeting his own as he sang “-And even if they don’t, no one needs to know, Woah woah soldier, you gotta let things go...” “ -the last verse and words left his lips, his fingers falling slowly from his strings, not letting his eyes move from Katyas, it was entirely a moment he wanted to live in forever.
The older male looked on at his counterpart for what had felt like several long moments (though was probably only a few seconds) highly anticipating whatever would be coming next. As Trixie began to play though, Katya found himself laughing borderline hysterically. “What?! No!! You can not begin playing the single greatest masterpiece of our short lives and then just not finish. You are doing both me and Tatianna a major injustice and I know you know that.” His tone of voice was sort of mock-serious, but even he couldn’t keep a straight face, smiling widely almost as soon as he’d finished speaking. “But alright, alright. Play your little song that will not be anywhere near as good as Same Parts, but humor me.” He laughed though, making sure the younger Brian knew that he was joking. “Seriously though, play away. I am all ears.” If he was being honest, he wasn’t entirely sure what to expect - he was pretty sure he got Trixie’s point, but what if it ended up being something he didn’t want to hear?
Despite his own anxieties though, as soon as Trixie began playing, it felt as though there was nobody else in the whole world - they were the only two. Katya’s eyes never once leaving Trixie, completely captivated by the music, hanging on every word. He generally was not someone who completely loved watching others perform, specifically musically, but something about Trixie was so captivating. As the song began to conclude, the older Brian was somewhat shocked that he found himself swallowing hard, trying to stop tears that were building in the corners of his eyes as he let all of this process. While the two spent a moment just looking at each other, Katya’s hand swiftly went to his own eyes, trying his best to wipe away the tears as nonchalantly as he possibly could. Finally breathing out, he spoke slowly, and somewhat quietly. “That...that was um...wow.” He laughed somewhat awkwardly unable to piece the words together.
His whole brain seemed completely jumbled, and all of his words felt caught in his throat. Although he so badly wanted to express how much that had meant to him - how much Trixie meant to him, the words just wouldn’t come. Laughing again slightly, breaking eye contact, Katya was finally able to muster up a few short words. “I am completely speechless. Which is not an easy task. But...wow. You...really wrote that?” It was a dumb question but at this specific moment it was as though Katya had no control over what words fell from his mouth.
