It's slmost October will you be continuing the nmbc Au? Cause I'm Obsessed!

Hiya anon! Sorry for the late response I’ve been pretty busy IRL / sort-of inactive due to numerous reasons but just wanted to say that I do very much have plans to do more content for and continue the nmbc au!

From that day onward’s, Xigbar found himself being Lux’s assigned babysitter untill eventually Saix was let in on the child - who then proceeded to assist Xigbar and Xemnas with taking care of the child untill eventually Lux was revealed to the rest / entire organisation XIII. How Lux exists is a topic for another day, but let’s just say it’s heavily inspired by kingdom hearts logic ( think of it being very loosely like how Vanitas came to exist just with a few extra stuff going on )

(do not tag as Xehanort / as a nort) So I still have a lot of feels and thoughts about Lux, a character who had been born after making an au of a post kh3 au. Said ‘au’ has gone through a lot of revisions that Lux is now his very own character now (alongside a tweaked backstory / premise) ...But it’s also because A) I have such soft spot for fanon children and B) the premise of organisation XIII babysitting the superiors son gets me every time.

So I’ve been thinking about my post kingdom hearts au / set thing. Which for anyone that doesn’t know the premise is basically this. Aqua being Master of the land of departure after everything that had happened - protecting the place but using it as a means to train new keyblade wielders. Terra - deciding to not become a master, instead spends his day’s assisting in watching over the other worlds and ensuring a balance is found with the darkness to avoid any repeats of the past.

During some unknown amount of time (properly 10-15 years after the events of Kingdom hearts) Lut is born. Lut is now 6 years old and excited about being a future keyblade wielder. He helps his mother out around the land and also ready to hear what stories his father has to tell him when he returns.

More or less - it was fun revisiting Aqua and Terra’s older designs (In Terra’s case - tweaking it) I wanted to visually show that they had aged and matured but had been marked by their past events. I also provided extra haori versions.

MINX - THE BINDER OF FATE “ Can you really show me how tied your fates are? “

So forever ago I craved and made an organisation oc for fun (mostly to mess around with the concept.) Well I recently got around to tweaking / updating my said org oc - including that of her weapon because I felt a sense of nostalgia looking over my old content for her.

Her design has pretty much remained the same besides some minor colour alterations and that I feel like I can actually properly draw her hair like I had originally desired to do so.As a reminder she has the power of thread - being able to control it however she desires too including having a semblance of control over fabric.

I contemplated the idea of changing her scissors into a threading needle but figured scissors still made sense (allowing her to cut her own thread / sharp jabbing attacks etc.) I dunno what the scissors are called (one idea being “pinky promise”.) Either way it was fun drawing her after all this time (practically three years I believe give or take since I’ve drawn her!)

It slipped my mind to include Ventus with the previous set for the starfish parents au-thing (which can be found HERE.) The second image also has a caption btw! But here’s Ventus in the au!

Similar to Aqua and Terra being much older in the au (since it’s post kh) Ventus is all grown up and is more or less an uncle-figure to little Lut (and also a guardian of sorts.) He usually tend’s to babysit Lut if his parents are away / busy and need someone to keep an eye on Lut for a while - Ventus never minds giving Terra and Aqua a helping hand since he loves his little nephew.

When it came to making him look older - I pulled inspirations from Terra’s design in bbs and also that of Eraqus (with some final fantasy inspirations too.) I wanted to make him look older / more mature but also still have a youthful appeal too him.

So I was planning on drawing some additional characters to go alongside Xaldin and Lexaeues in the halloween town au (while also using this as a chance to updated / tweak their designs in the au ) but hey guys it’s October and that means NMBC AU time.

saame tbh. I just got looking at some of my nmbc au stuff and just got hit with feels a sudden need to work on additional character blurb stuff / update designs etc aklhdjsks But gosh! I’m so much more happier with everyone’s designs now as I gradually drew em again !!

PSA. As a side note as well, the NMBC AU is an alternate reality based off of the nightmare before Christmas movie. That is to say then that the cast in it ( the wayfinder trio / organisation XIII etc ) are NOT their canon Kingdom heart selves. Nor are these designs simply halloween town costumes if they went to the halloween town in Kingdom hearts,

Once again I am back with more NMBC au content! This time feat Xigbar and a somewhat updated design! Most evidently I went over his face and some features of his since it felt like there was a bit too much going off with his face (including some minor tweaks.)

‘ With his trusted assistant by his side , Ienzo, an orphaned child he had taken under his wing, nothing stops Vexen from performing experiments through the night. Ienzo however usually tends to have his head in the clouds, never seen without a book in hand. '

‘ Demyx is Vexen’s latest creation. Whom for the most part...doesn’t listen to him. With a rebellious sprite and a passion for music. Demyx has the habit to sneak out, to see the sights and play a few tunes with the musicians within town. ‘

Is it Halloween? No. But I got thinking about my NMBC au and so felt a need to draw some more of these profiles for characters within the Au. It also gives me a chance to tweak / update some designs considering the au is like 2-3 years old by now...either way! Here we have Demyx / Vexen and Zexion in the au!!
