❝ Even more radically, in the logic of survival the horror experienced upon seeing death turns into the satisfaction that the dead person is another. It is the death of the Other, the Other’s physical presence as a corpse, that makes the survivor feel unique. And each enemy killed makes the survivor feel more secure. ❞

ABOUT:
Holden Reilly was born in West Virginia, a direct product of the isolated Appalachias. As a child, he spent most of his time outdoors and in the woods. There, his fascination for the wilderness and the human psyche began as he observed the hidden lives of people in his hometown.
After high school, Holden went on to study economics and psychology at the University of Virginia. Earning his Bachelor's, he continued his education by earning a Master's in Forensic Psychology. Unable to satiate his unpinned desire, Holden enrolled in the police academy even after earning his graduate degree.
He spent a few years with the Richmond Police Department, working his way through the ranks until he earned his promotion of detective. After dedicating another two years, Holden finally resigned from his position and transferred to the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Currently, he serves as a homicide detective and is entering his second year with Pittsburgh.
Holden is described to be quiet, observant, and calculated. He abides by a strict routine, even on his weekends.
