Hey, so, congrats to theultimatelegendary for getting back in Smash. Looking forward to see how you fight now!
"Oh, hey there, miss. My name's Mac, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Palutena turned her head to… nothing. Did she imagine it. Looking down and- oh. There. A small blush of embarrassment filled her cheeks as she wondered whether or not he noticed the fact it took her a second to notice.
"Oh, hello. It is a pleasure to meet you as well. My name is Palutena, and I am the goddess of light, as well as the deity of Angel Land." the emerald-haired woman answered.
"Rest assured, when we do fight, I won’t hold back and I won’t expect you to either."
"Don’t expect to win, either. I’ll give it my all." she winked. It was fun, teasing the shorter male. For some reason, the deity enjoyed it more than she thought she would.
"Well, alright. I'm looking forward to facing you then." He gave her a smile. The boxer seemed oblivious to some of the teasing he was at the receiving end of, but he was enjoying this conversation.

"Well, that’s a relief. It’s never any fun to fight someone holding back."
"I agree. Don’t be afraid to hit me, just become I am a woman and a goddess. I will give it my all, so, you had better, too.".
Her wings flapped from her shoulders and shone luminously.
"Rest assured, when we do fight, I won't hold back and I won't expect you to either."
"Seriously, what's going on?"

"Of course. I never underestimated an opponent before, and I have no plans to now. I look forward to seeing you in battle."
The goddess giggled. “I won’t hold back, just because you’re a motal.” she revealed, teasing him the slightest bit.
"After all, I can’t afford to let others gain the impression that I am weak.”.
"Well, that's a relief. It's never any fun to fight someone holding back."

"Is that right? Hey, do you have any clue why they'd do that?"

"Ahh, well, my name's Mac. I just wanted to check on you, you seem a bit upset. Wanna talk about it?"
"F-fine! I DON’T NEED TO COME TO YOUR STUPID SLEEPOVER ANYWAY!" Bowser shouted at Peach’s locked door. He marched over to his room. Not invited to the sleepover….how dare they? Didn’t they know what they were missing out on? He was the king of cool! "Stupid idiots…" He muttered as he slammed his door shut.
Mac was walking past the door as it shut, startled slightly by the force it was slammed with. He decided to check on its resident, and knocked on the door.
"Oh, hey there, miss. My name's Mac, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Well, the term ‘boxer,’ as applied to people like me, is a term used for people who participate in a sport which is basically just fistfighting. It’s all about punching people and staying on your feet."
"Oh, so you’re not just a pare of human male underwear!” she replied, happy to learn this fact.
Palutena laughed happily. “Well, if you’re a ‘boxer’ then, you must really be a formidable opponent in a competition such as this. I will not underestimate you, and I would hope that you show me the same courtesy.”.
"Of course. I never underestimated an opponent before, and I have no plans to now. I look forward to seeing you in battle."

"Well, deities are pretty rare where I come from. And, judging by your reaction, I believe an explanation is in order, though I could be wrong."
"That… would be appeciated, yes.” she admitted. As a goddess, she didn’t want to embarrass herself too much, less she relive the Revolting Dinner of Last Year. All she wanted to do was learn a bit more to understand human culture.

"You’re… a goddess? Well, that’s new." Mac had definitely seen his fair share of people, but never in his life did he imagine ever meeting a goddess. "As for me, well, I’m a boxer. Heavyweight champion of the WVBA, to be precise."
"A boxer, you said?” she tried to suppress a bit of laughter. Did he just call himself a pair of men’s underwear? Pit had told her about them once for some reason or another.
At least, that’s what the deity recalled that being a name for. Not being to keen on human words, she simply accepted that he probably meant something else.
"Is that so? Well, I’m certain that you’re the best boxer around if you’ve been invited to this competition… and, yes, I am a goddess. Are you surprised?” she answered, chuckling a bit and smiling at him.
