College Cellars
Run by students in the Viticulture and Enology Program at the Walla Walla Community College (and located on the corner of campus), this is a treat. They produce a wide array of wines (like, all the varietals), from grapes both grown on their nearby vineyard and donated by nearby wineries. Their wide range of wines means there is always something new to try (their sagemore Riesling was fabulous). Wines are produced in a range of styles, as student winemakers are paired in teams to make each wine. It’s fun, interesting and free. Their wines are reasonably priced and support the program, so make sure to take home a few bottles.
