Sam Wilson is three years older than Buffy Summers. 

           Let that sink in. Buffy just turned 40 in January and I’ve unfollowed a few blogs recently for talking about her being ‘middle-aged’ or ‘the older woman’. Being 40 does not make her old, and being male doesn’t magically make a muse younger. Ageism is so linked to sexism in the rpc, it’s ridiculous. It’s so deeply intrenched that even blogs that reblog/post face claims tag actresses over 40 with ‘age diversity’.

And, yes, this is a reference to his story from Age of Ultron, I know he was wearing the MK II armor in that, but I liked the MK III  War Machine armor
