Here’s Matcher’s stats!
Why they are this way is with what I’ve written of Matcher, even if I’m yet to exactly put it out onto here or any other place, so let’s get into the details, shall we?
simply put, Matcher was always given very diverse and potent magic, such as her electric magic, fire magic, and plant magic to name off a few. Though what makes her magic such a force to be reckoned with is not just the variety but how she implements it in her attacks, like using her strings to trap her enemies before setting them aflame or using her lighting and crystal attacks to corner her opponent!
Though she is capable to at least throw a punch, she’s not really physically strong. She was more of a writer then fighter in her life and was mainly was taught magic more than anything, thus this has made her depend on her magic more in fights. This definitely makes her better at ranged combat, not so much at close up, haha.
Considering her mental health’s state…. Yeah. She could be a lot better off. She has a lot of trauma and emotional damage paired with a curse too. Oops.
I more thought about how much she cares about her appearance in this one, which she does care a LOT how she is seen and perceived by others, often wanting her reputation to be consistent, thus her looks must be consistent too. This often means a lot of hair gel… that also end up combusting during her tantrums, which while doesn’t burn her hair or damage her, definitely ends up with literal flaming hair haha
While she is not exactly fatherly or motherly, she is fairly sisterly towards hat kid and her subconites, which I hope to indeed show a bit of in some posts at some point. Though, this is the same Matcher that in one rp left her right hand subconite in an inter dimensional bar…. Oops.
I rated her as half as she technically has a partial rule on the forest, as she’s kind of an AU snatcher but also… kind of not. While she was my version of snatch in a community in time, she has eventually ended up being more like a weird cryptic cousin to snatcher in some ways, thus the half rating. She still has a good amount of influence in her version of subcon, but mostly in the much more deeper parts of the forest as snatcher definitely chased her from the main area
Considering she is often a trickster, pulling pranks and overall just a smug, sarcastic, teasing gremlin who finds other’s frustration funny… yep. There’s not much to it. She literally uses humor as a way to avoid her trauma.
While she may have her moments of making stupid decisions, she’s definitely smart. She’s clever enough to combine her magic and experiment with what worked best for what she wished to accomplish, whether it be in or out of combat. Not only that, she’s often used her smarts to strategize how to toy with her prey, how exactly to make them suffer the worst possible way. She’s manipulative, on top of this, knowing well how to turn a situation to her favor to gain an upper hand.
She’s literally cursed, alongside her whole thing of eating kit-kats the wrong way to just get kicks out of other people’s reactions. Though, that’s likely not the only thing she does for sadistic enjoyment.
