yesterday i was pulled over for the first time for speeding. the officer was nice, he took my license and registration, and i also saw him glance at the pentacle i wear, and at the one hanging from my rear view mirror. he went back to his patrol car for a few minutes, and then came back. he told me he was just going to give me a warning, since i had a clean record. then he pulled a pentacle on a chain out from under his uniform and said,
“believe it or not, some of us are cops, too. stay safe, and blessed be.”
