[ He flips in his bed at the sound of his phone buzzing over wooden table. A bleary eye open until he grasps around and grabs what he searches for. Unlocking and giving it a quick read, twice because he’s too tired to comprehend the first time. ]
[ kkt ➝ Seulji ] i read this twice just to make sure i wasn’t crazy but nope, ur the crazy one… [ kkt ➝ Seulji ] don’t you know i’m a professional working man? of course i work tomorrow, crazy
[ And he sits up with a yawn, debating with himself, peering at the clock on his phone he didn’t work until tomorrow afternoon, the night shift, long and hard hours. ]
[ kkt ➝ Seulji ] what’s in it for me, huh?
[ He asks, already sliding out of bed with a sigh. ]
[ kkt ↪ Cheol ] i honestly have double shifts tomorrow but here i am, asking you to go bowling in the middle of the night [ kkt ↪ Cheol ] you get to see me, of course. [ kkt ↪ Cheol ]
{ ` she was never this cocky or arrogant, but he often times brought those playfully laced toned words out of her. Even though he had not given the O.K. that he was on board with this late night adventure, Seulji did a Mission Impossible roll off her beanbag chair and sprung to her feet, then dashing on tip toes through her apartment, fetching the essentials. ]
[ kkt ↪ Cheol ] PJs are the required attire
{ ` this suggestion only came as she found her primarily pink and white accented kitten PJs wrinkled in the corner under the jacket that was now on her arm. perfect. }
Worst song ever.
WONYANG TASK: PEPERO DAY
Seul-ji believes that Pepero Day as a sort of second Valentine’s Day is adorable and special despite its odd origins. Back in the States where she lived, even amongst her Korean peers, it wasn’t practiced since Valentine’s Day was overbearingly popular. However, when she moved back to South Korea and opened her couple cafe, it was an absolute must to include the celebration of the holiday in some way. Cakes fenced in chocolate dipped sticks with a ribbon wrapped and tied around the front, sundaes with creme filled sticks poking out of the top, specialty in house made Pepero sticks drizzled in coloured chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, or even fruity flavors crumbled with bits of gummies, chopped nuts or bits of fruit -- everything you could think of! Since the day is so popular at Lucky In Love, reservations for the whole day are booked well in advanced, and the sundae for two is the best seller. As the owner, she oversees most of the hectic day but spends her evening elsewhere.
Even though Seul-ji is stingy over most things, spoiling friends or love interests was something she did even before hitting the lottery. Seeing someone’s face light up with joy as they receive a gift warms her heart so for the few years she has been in South Korea, she gifts multiple brand boxes to her friends and personally makes some herself for the close ones. She has yet to give some to a love interest as there hasn’t been a serious one since she moved to Wonyang, but maybe one day it will happen.
these heaven sent visuals 🕊️
{ ` Seulji lied upon her unnecessarily large beanbag in the middle of her living room stomach down, tiny feet hanging over the edge, wiggling in the air as she scrolls through her contacts in her phone. It was a headache inducing week to say the least and she needed to blow off some steam. Sleep would have been the normal thing to do at 3 in the morning, but she was wide awake even without the aid of coffee. Ah yes, of course. The victim was chosen. }
[ kkt ↪ Cheol ] hey, hey you [ kkt ↪ Cheol ] [ attached img ] [ kkt ↪ Cheol ] do you have work tomorrow? we should go bowling. right now.
Today’s Sunday.
Hey there! It is ya girl, Moose, with another muse name Seulji, nicknamed Jiji~ She’s a bit new to Wonyang and has been super busy for the past three years or so because she won the damn lottery when she was 18, moved from CA to KR, opened a restaurant for her parents and a Princess cafe because she can. They aren’t added to the locations list yet ( completely my fault dsfhdf ) so here’s a tldr:
Lucky Noodle: Primarily a noodle restaurant but the downstairs is like a cozy bar, think like an Izakaya from Japan, very friendly and personal because her parents love the locals, then when you wander through there and upstairs it is a sit down restaurant in case the loudness downstairs isn’t your thing. Seulji’s mother is the General Manager, and Head Chef when her husband isn’t on the front line.
Lucky In Love: A Princess cafe – you pay a small fee in addition to purchasing a drink and dessert and you get to play dress up! There’s a wide variety of types of dresses from all sorts of eras, wedding dresses, fancy prom dresses, traditional hanboks, and some suits in case that is more your fancy! Upstairs is more of a couple cafe with the one on one plushie booths that are rented for a flat fee then a small fee after an hour. I wouldn’t suggest getting too handsy as there are CCTVs everywhere… but, yes!

When your muse was younger, what did they think they were going to be when they grew up? [ +Welcome to Wonyang. ]
Seul-ji did not have any big dreams or aspirations growing up because she knew the cards were laid out before her that she would have to take care of the restaurant her parents owned in California. She didn’t mind it too much because even if they were lower middle class before her 18th birthday, it was still a steady income enough to keep them afloat as a family. There is a possibility that maybe if she didn’t hit the jackpot and became a higher up manager of the restaurant she would have tried her best to transform the current status of it into what her parent’s dreamed of, which is the close knit Izakaya feel, as they loved their surrounding neighborhood.

▷ ► ► ▷It’s the middle of the night and Jaewon had been out drinking with some friends. He was never one to go out and drink to get drunk, at least not in a long time. But with certain events of him being fired from his job, he didn’t know what to do but drown in sorrow and turning to alcohol to keep him from going insane.
Honestly, It was a mixture of things that cause him to spiral back down the never ending loop of drinking to get drunk. Of course the whole getting fired was icing on the cake, but another reason was because he just found out his ex had left Wonyang once again without notifying him, despite the two getting rather close.
He didn’t even know where he was at this point, his mind clouded with conflicting thoughts. In his current drunken state, he believed his ex-girlfriend was still around. He’d forgotten the truth, maybe because he refused to believe it. The dark streets that flickered with street lights that seemed to be on their last bit of life, reminded him of all the times he’d walked her home. He began to drown in those memories, gradually craving of that feeling of want and affection.
Lost in the night, still wasted with a half empty bottle of liquor in his hand, he saw a faint light shining from a window. His mind instantly thought he was in the area of where she once lived. Jaewon was clearly not in the right state of mind, but what kind of man who has lost everything would be? He felt like the only thing that mattered is the present moment and doing what he wants, no matter how selfish it seemed.
His eyes scanned the area around him, squinting every now and then, not only because it was dark but also because he found it hard to focus on anything around him with his sight being blurred. He took a deep breath, crouching down to pick up a small grey stone from the ground. Eventually he stood back up onto his feet but not before losing his balance for a moment. “Hey!!” He yelled out as loud as he could before taking a sip from the bottle he held. “I know you’re in there.” He mumbled incoherently as he tossed the small pebble at the lit up window. “I’m here to save my princess from whom ever is keeping you from me.” a hiccup followed right after these words.
Seulji found herself at home early, for once, mostly due to the lack of customers at her couple cafe and they didn’t need her there to close up. With Halloween around the corner, people were preparing for the festivities, or at least she assumed so. The living room’s window was pulled open to allow the autumn breeze to flutter in from time to time, refreshing her mind as her schoolwork often clouded her brain. It was never too early to begin project assignments since Seulji never knew when she would be too busy to breathe since she juggles a cafe, restaurant and studies.
The flow of productivity came to a halt when an unfamiliar voice shouted into the night, and all too close since she lived near the lower floors of the building. Seulji froze at her desk, the lead of her mechanical pencil breaking and dotting the paper below, eyes growing wide as she listens for a response. Were people fighting out there? She couldn’t remember the last time she witnessed any sort of disturbances of the peace, be it fighting or otherwise, until a rock “ting”ed her open window. Seulji nearly jumped out of her skin and slipped off her chair, but grabbed onto the desk’s edge so she wouldn’t go tipping.
Now it became her problem. Wonderful. The frightened deer in headlights reaction melted as she collects herself to stomp to her living room window. Not too far below, a boy, on the lawn, swaying like he was a pirate on his ship in rough waters. “I’m here to save my princess from whomever is keeping you from me.” Her nose scrunched as her head twitches in bewilderment. Ah, a drunk. “Sorry!” She leans forward to where her forehead rests against the cold bar of her window, hair spilling out in the gap below. “I do believe your Princess is in another castle!”
