i’m engaged but like not getting married for 2 years-ish but i was doing some light looking into venues and stuff and now im deciding actually weddings are too expensive and also if venues say they are gay-friendly, they really aren’t actually because they strategically post 0 queer couples in their album of 100 straight couples and also only put “LGBT friendly” in very small fine print hidden under a drop down arrow, if at all. also, also, if i wanted to go to one of these venues i would have to drive 6+ hours because i live in hell so anyway i dont know if this is all just a me problem but i’m thinking maybe just pretending we’re married but not actually doing anything is the way to go.

also the cherry on top is my family literally doesnt care that we’re engaged at all but still expects a traditional wedding out of me, despite not offering to help at all whatsoever.

anyway.

i realize this is a very first world problem but it’s just a bummer to realize a maGicaL eXperiEnCe literally doesnt exist.
